Two years have passed since a day where hearts were broken, and one found himself questioning who and what he was. A kid by the name of shorstraw, holder of two of yujis doughters hearts had made a promes to arrive yet again at a certain time and place. Finally the day has come.
*Yuji chukkled as he was the first one awake and walking through the house. He walked by kerias door and knocked, "Yo it's time. Got twenty minets." He called as he did the same for veria. He then walked downstairs. He felt today may be a day to celibrate. Maybe. A few things had happened within the last two years sicne the leaving of a kid. Keria and veria expechally was effected the most. Now, it was the day that that same kid would return... as he promesed. Veria however was out before keria but waited for her sister for she had a question to ask her before they left to go find shorstraw. Somthing between just them.

Kiera put her hand on her head as she still laid in bed. She surprised herself at being able to sleep that night, although she had done some pretty intensive exercising the day before. Some things had changed about Kiera, in the part two years. She was taller, for one thing. If anyone couldn't believe it, it was Amelie. She didn't accept that Kiera was taller than her, but she was. Asher had come back a few months before, and they'd done intensive training ever since she did. Her hair was down to her knees. She'd never thought about cutting it. So she jut wore it up most of the time to keep it under control. There wasn't much else other than a change of clothing. Although there was one other thing. She dragged herself out of her bed, and stretched. She was taking her time, that was for sure. She grabbed her coat from the side, and slid it on. She didn't bother changing clothes. Asher stood by the door. "You all right there, Kiera?" Kiera glanced over to Asher with the same dull brown eyes from two years ago. "I guess we'll see soon enough." She shoved Asher out of the way with her foot as she opened her door, and was almost blinded by light. How she hated getting up at this time in the morning. Sluggishly, she walked down the stairs, Asher hot on her trails.

*Veria followed after Keria. "Sister..." she spoke in a more quiet tone. Veria was now nine almost ten herself. She didn't talk as much as she used too. And when she did most of the time it was witha soft vioce. She mostl kept to her self for most of the two years, other then ameile of course. She didn't not once bother keria the entire time. Untill now. "Would it be okay if i go to meet him too, or do i have to stay here and wait for you to bring him home? He told you he would meet you there... not me..." she replied softly looking tot he floor with somthing in her hands she was hugging to her chest as she walked.*

Kiera didn't look to her now very little sister as she kept walking until she reached the door. There, she opened it, and stood in the way of Asher and spun around to look at Veira. "You can do whatever the hell you like. It's not going to influence me in any way." That was the best answer she could do right now to say yes, but she had reason to be a little on edge. Somehow she doubted things were going to turn out as Veira expected anyway. Kiera then turned around again, and walked through the door. Asher followed suit, after taking a glance at Veira.

*Veria stood there a moment sadly at the door unsure if she should go. She then looked at the gift she had crafted for him and hugged it tight as she finally stepped out the house and followed keria with distance. As teh two finally reached the spot. It was about time. And as the sun was just arriving over the hill... with not a moment to spare, a figure appeared walking over the hill. Shorstraw:

Kiera grimaced at the sight, and she looked to Asher. Asher stared back, a certain longing in her eyes. Kiera found herself not wanting to look, and she glanced to Veira, then back to Asher. She had to remain indifferent. Asher nudged up against her leg and looked on to Shortstraw. Kiera wouldn't tell her anything of her feelings about this. So Asher was still unsure. Kiera looked to at least be courteous and at least turn up. She wondered what Kiera'd say. What she'd do. She didn't seem to be doing to well so far, it looked.

*Shortstraw walked up to them standing tall. Silence was between then as he a smile finally appeared across his face, "Hey girls i told you i would be back." He laughed as he flippe dhis hood open. "Oh i almost didn't see you Asher, good news now if thers are any other demons picking on you i can beat them up!" He laughed. And found veria holding out somthing all rapped up. He looked to it, "Huh what this." Veria smiled and put her hand behind her back blushing, "i made it for you for when you came back. I didn't think you would be wareing somthing new like that though..." SHorstraw smiled, "thanks veria. Your armor actully saved my life a few times." He chukkled and looked to keria before opeing the gift, "Wow your hairs really long... and your alot taller then i expected."

Kiera yawned, and took Asher up in her arms. "Yeah. I grew." Smooth, she thought. Oh so smooth. "And welcome back, too. Dante's really missed you." Her expression didn't change, and Asher made note of this. Kiera wasn't sure if she should speak. "I'm pretty sure i have the other demons handled, Shortstraw. Although it looks like you got yourself a makeover of all things. Shame you're not as tall as Kiera, though. Although she's the same height as Yuji now, i think." Kiera looked away. Any normal person would have taken it for embarrassment. But it wasn't. "And of course now is when she'd be asleep too. So i expect she's tired." Asher was now aware that she was talking about Kiera again. Kiera concurred with a yawn.

*SHorstraw smiled* "Well sorry about that keria. I was going to go to the house if you overslept." He chukkled, "Although i'm afrade these close arn't all i have new anymore. I Have confidence now i can defently stand along side the yokai familiy now. I have learned what and who i am, what i can do. And i have new tricks. So far i've already killed twelve demons on my own since training. Add three durring training. Now i know that i can defently be there for you three most of all." He smiled and hugged keria tightly, even though it was just her legs. "Sorry i had to leave i hoped you would understand." He backed up and unfolded a peice of paper and help it up to her, "As soon as i left i pictured you and drew you. I used it ever since to remeind me why i was there." He nodded and looked to veria, "Of course i also had your armor and wepons to help me. So i kinda had a peice of both of you..." He stopped and laughed as he also held up the same red and black cloth from two years ago that he asked keria wha ti twas before, "And eve apparently i know know this isn't a napkin." he laughed. as veria smiled, "Open your present." Shorstraw smiled and nodded oeping the large carfly rapped item. It was a full set of new cloths. Normal however crafted with spechalty all in it with every bit of thread. She smiled, "I hop eyou like it." He nodded and hugged veria, "I do thankyou." He then looked to asher and patter her head... well barly. "I sure hope your still up to being my mount."

Asher grinned. "Of course. Our deal isn't off just because you got badass. Now i guess it'll be easier to supervise you. And much more interesting, i'm sure." She frowned a little. "And one of those demons you killed happened to be one of my gambling buddies. Although it doesn't matter now, i guess. I got all his winnings." She snickered. Kiera still looked away. Asher was just trying to fill in conversation for her. And in her arms, she nudged her chest with her head. "Do you wanna go back to the castle?" Kiera hesitated for a second, before nodding. Asher smiled. "All right then." Kiera put Asher on the floor and started walking. She was a good several meters away from them when Asher sighed, and looked to Shortstraw. "I'm sorry. She's not been.. the same. I don't know exactly what's going on. I have to admit i wasn't here either for just over a year. So she's been on her own for a while." Asher smiled, anyway. "It'll be fine, though." She had a hard time convincing herself that of all people.

*SHorstraw nodded* "I figured she would hate my guts actully. I know how she is when she feels somthing is a weakness becuse it hurts her, i could tell she was hurt that day. But i had to do it, it was the only way i could be with her without getting killed. More or less i relized that after i made the deal with you in pericullar." He shied, "But now i have something I can at least do. And when enemys come up i can now help instead of watch. Demon or not." He looked diretly to asher, "And no offence to you but I am what I am. Your not my enemy and never will be. But demons are my enemy now aslo. So no offence if i kill any..."

Asher laughed. "Are you kidding me?! I'm more happy than ever for you to keep killing demons off. Means less competition for me! We're all out to get eachother, really. That's why we gamble so much." She started to walk after Kiera, swatting her long tail from side to side. "She'll be fine eventually, just give her a little time."

*Shortstraw shied, "yea although i'm sure there will always be something part of her that will not trus tme for it. I knew she wouldn't let me go if i told her that night. However now i'm back perminatly as long as i'm accepted into the hme of the yokai familiy that is. I also have to thank Mr Yuji for helping me that day too..." He looked down to Asher, "also thats good then. I concider you a freind, so yes its good that you do not mind. However i didn't know a few things i wish I did about you demons back then. Still, i'm glad at least you and veria are happy to see me back. Now i only haveto appoligize to kiera and make it up to her somehow... though she got really tall." He chukkled.

Asher nodded. "She just spurted up one day." She looked to Kiera who was almost at the castle doors. "And then she got an attitude to match it. Like that extra height is pure hatred." Asher laughed. "I wouldn't think that negatively though. She'd adapt to anything if she was stuck with it. If you talked to her a little she may loosen up." Kiera was inside the castle now.

*Shorstraw shied and nodded* "yea thats going to be the hard part. I'm not sure what to say. ANd when to say anything. Not even training can help me with that." He shied and smiled to veria as they entered, "Thanks for the new set veria. It's good to finally be back." Veria nodded and hugge dhim again, "I let you get settled again. I got some things to do." She replied with a smile before dissapering. Meanwhile yuji noticed shorstraw enter the kitchen and smiled, "Welcome home kiddo. And good luck with that one." He started laughing heading up to see if amiele was awake yet. Meanwhile shorstraw wondered, "Where is keria anyways. Did she go back to bed?"
