>> March 11, 1926 = Sarah Rodgers, mother of Steven, gave birth to a second son, Grant.
>> December 27, 1926 = Joseph Rodgers dies in a munitions accident.
>> March 16, 1934 = Sarah Rodgers dies of Pneumonia.
>> August 13, 1940 = Horrified by the newsreel images from the war, Rodgers begins continuously attempting to enlist for the army, and being rejected for his slight physique and poor health.
>> September 25, 1940 = James "Bucky" Barnes, Rodgers closest friend, and the man who protected the scrawny would be hero during their childhood, leaves to join the army. On that same day, Rodgers is given the chance to enlist in the Army's Top Secret Rebirth Project
>> October 4, 1940 = Steve Rodgers is the first of the candidates to undergo Doctor Abraham Erskine's Super Soldier process, however due to German sabotage, Rodgers was also the last. The spy managed to kill Doctor Erskine, but was pursued and caught by the newly dubbed Captain America.
>> November 7, 1940 = Rodgers said goodbye to his little brother, and childhood friend Annie Roth, and begins training for his new career as America's Ultimate Special Operative at Camp Lehigh. There he met Genearal Chester Phillips, Agent Peggy Carter and civilian scientist Howard Stark, Sr.
>> March 18, 1941 = Captain America sets out to combat his polar opposite and head of Hydra, the Red Skull, and his army of spies. His first mission involved stopping Nazi saboteurs from destroying an American aircraft factory. The mission was a success however, it was also the first time Cap first saw someone die under his command.
>> July 4, 1941 = After stopping Nazi saboteurs from destroying the Liberty Ship yards, Captain America returned to Washington to be presented with a new, disk shaped shield by President Roosevelt, a presentation to which he wore the new uniform, designed by Howard Stark.
>> August 5, 1941 = Captain America was sent on his own to Madripoor to with orders to investigate reports of Hyrda operative Baron Strucker, and if possible to capture him alive. However, while during his investigation he stumbled on Strucker making a deal with the Japanese ninjas known as the Hand. That was the first time Cap worked together with "Lucky" James Howlett from Canadian Special Forces, in order to rescue the young assassin in training, Ophelia Sarkissian, who was being offered to Hydra. Cap succeeded in the mission to rescue the girl only to have her betray him, offering his head to her new employer. Cap was saved only by Howlett's timely interference, and as thanks Captain America offered him a chance to be his partner, an offer that Howlett promptly refused.
>> November 17, 1941 = In continuing pursuit of Baron Strucker Captain America's plane was shot down over occupied France where he again met up with James Howlett and a squad of British S.A.S led by Jack Fury from whom he learned his old friend Bucky was in the area and had been captured on a mission to assassinate Baron Zemo. With the help of James Howlett, Captain America set off to storm the fortress and free his captured friend. The two managed to rescue Bucky, and destroy the fortress, but Strucker and Zemo escaped and Howlett was shot and fell over the cliff. Before leaving Captain America and Bucky built a memorial of small stones to their fallen comrade.
>> December 22, 1941 = After the Pearl Harbor attack, Captain America and Bucky had been ordered to return home. After arriving however, they discovered that Howard Stark had been injured and hospitalized. When they visited him he told them about his ordeal, how he had been captured by Nazi spies who had forced him to try to recreate Erskine's Super Soldier Serum and give it to Master Man. He had to escaped shortly after but was shot in the attempt. Armed with knowledge of Master-man's plan to assassinate the British Prime-minister, Captain America and Bucky set off for England right away.
>> December 24, 1941 = After arriving in England the night before, Captain America and his team set about trying to locate and capture Master-man. During their investigation the pair ended up teaming up with other superheroes and after preventing Master-man's assassination attempt, Churchill himself, commended the heroes on their teamwork, and suggested that they work together under the name the Invaders. The group agreed, and throughout the next year, they worked together as the world's first Superhero Team.
>> June 22, 1942 = Led by Captain America, the Invaders attempted to stop a U-Boat attack on New York by the members of Battle-Axis. After following them to a secret base in California the team learned that the enemy's leader, Dr. Death, intended to cause a massive earthquake to decimate the west coast. With the help of new members, the Blazing Skull and Silver Scorpion, the Invaders were able to stop the villains.
>> October 5, 1944 = Captain America and Bucky arrive in Nazi Germany having received Intel that the Red Skull had gotten his hands on an artifact of great power. With the help of the Ancient One, the owner of the stolen artifact, the Eye of Agamotto, Captain America met up with Jack Fury and his howling commandos who were after the same thing. However, when they attempted to stop the Skull, the struggle inadvertently transported them all to the Dark Dimension. When the team caught up to the Skull, they found he had been negotiating a deal to for the power to destroy the allies in exchange for the Eye, now in Cap's possession. The Skull attempted to take the reckless by force however he was defeated, and with the help of the ancient one, returned to their own dimension, reappearing in the Skull's fortress allowing him to make his escape.
>> August 11, 1945 = Captain America lead a final attack on the Red Skull's last base to stop him using his powerful weapons to destroy allied cities. However, Cap and Bucky managed to get aboard before the Skull was able to launch his ship, and attempted to get to the skull before he could decimate the population of the free world. The last anyone ever head of those aboard was the ship exploding over the English Channel. Thus, the world fondly remembers Captain America, Earth's Mightiest Hero.
