((In response to THIS SIGNUP. )) Ami. No idea who this woman was, but as it was, he had delivered so many roses that he wasn't having too much of a hard time with them. As long as they weren't just waking up or at least dressed. He really hoped they were dressed.
Sighing, he walked up to the door, checked the number he jotted down next to her name when asking someone on this floor, and knocked.

Ami particularly enjoyed Millenium People. It wasn't the greatest book she had ever read- that belonged to The Catcher in the Rye after all- but it wasn't the worst. She particularly enjoyed the themes, the chaotic hysteria based around the London Riots. It was, all in all, a good read.
So when a knock tapped on her door, she already had a bad impression.
Worse yet, she was a mess. She'd only recently moved back into her room from the hospital. It was stuffy, a little more cramped, but good. The problem was that she hadn't quite organized things back in their rightful place. She knew Tori had meant well, but the girl had gone and rearranged some things, and it sent Ami in a positively heinous tizzy.
So Ami's appearance was a little disheveled to match. It didn't help that she felt weak at random instances too. Not having Junpei? Incredibly difficult. So it was strike two for Melvin, because she wasn't prepared for him.
By the time Ami opened her door, poor Melvin already had two strikes against him, and a third was quickly broaching if he didn't make this snappy. "What," she said shortly, not posing a question. She wanted this done and over with in two seconds flat, so she could return to her book. A hazy memory of Junpei came to mind, and she politely added, "... can I help you with. What can I help you with." She repeated it, just to make sure she'd said it. Junpei would've wanted that.

"Uhhh..." He said, startled by the sudden jerk of the door and the rather disheveled appeared of the girl before him. "Hello. Ami is it?" He asked, before he started to twist the cap off the metal tube under his arm and present her with a rose. "I'm here to deliver this to you...." He looked her over. It might be saying to much to say they were from a secret admirer given the current state she was in.

Ami looked at the flower, and then back at the boy. "I'm not interested," she said tiredly, a complete deadpan expression on her face.
Although it was indeed flattering that this wiry trainee was giving her a rose, she was not interested in the least. The romantic within her was smiling, but there had been just too much going on for her to pursue it. After the catastrophe with Wilson, she was just done. So done.
"I'm very flattered," she drawled, "But I can't accept your feelings." She gave the boy a pitying look. One of slight confusion. Just when had this boy fallen in love with her? What exactly was appealing about her?
Oh- and just who was he? She'd never seen this boy in her life.

He was ruffled like a cat being stroked the wrong way, and flustered at such a assumption. "It's not from me!" He shot back, checking the clipboard just to show he HAD a clipboard and he wasn't here to propose some sudden and once-secret desire for her. "I'm just delivering it. It's from a secret admirer. I'm just stuck delivering them." He tucked the clipboard under his arm with the tube, still holding the rose for her to take. "I don't even know you."

Ami returned Melvin's flustered expression with an embarrassed flush of her own. Oh no. Now she looked incredibly vain, didn't she? Well it was only normal to assume- ... Well with the way he worded it ... !
"Ah ... I see," Ami said, her tiny hand wrapping around the rose. It would be rude not to accept it, regardless of who it came from. "I know it ruins the point of a secret admirer" she said, "But who is it from?"

Melvin checked her off the list on his clipboard. "Don't know. Don't care. They'd probably faint if I told you and then you approached them. That is why this is all secret. I guess they hope Fate will just magically pull you to them." He was lying through his teeth, but that's what he assumed of anyone who would be a secret admirer and not have the balls to just ask.
Clipping his pen shut and tucking it behind his ear, he twisted the lid back on the tube. "Point is, they gave you a rose."

Ami blinked at the rose, both stressed by its existence and flattered by the thought that someone would give it to her. Then again, it could just be Maddie being a dolt again, doing something stupid like sending her friends roses.
She was a little surprised by the whole thing so she said, "Well ... I suppose ... Tell them I said thank you?" She leaned against the doorframe, holding the rose close. She fumbled around, looking for her wallet. "Ah- I should get a tip for you. Just a second." It was only polite. Etiquette required you tipped the delivery boy after all.

"It's secret so I can't thank them for you." He checked his list, before adjusting his grip on the tube.
When she went to fetch him a tip, he threw up his hands as best he could. "NO. No-no-no. I don't need that. This is just a errand I'm running. You just enjoy it." It was a task, a job, and one he knew wasn't a good or safe one. Taking a tip would just be a step too far. Giving out roses he knew were dripping in chemicals was one step, but taking tips was just a smidge too far.
"You just...enjoy that thought." Or the lie that someone might like her.
With a wave, before she could give him a tip, he started to shuffle away.

chimarii Look at this rose, isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think her collection's complete? Wouldn't you think she's a girl, the girl who has... everything? Look at this rose, purple in hue, How many emotions can one flower hold? Looking around here you think, Oh balls, she's a Disney Princess.Ami has received an enchanting lavender rose. For three RPs (does not have to be the immediate next three) Ami is, essentially, a Disney Princess. Everything is going to be so magical! So enchanting! And hey. Hey you. Ami is a princess and she knows it. Don't you dare tell her otherwise; she just might sing a song about it.These feelings will last until the three RPs are up or unless Ami trades or gives her rose away, at which point reality will come crashing back down immediately. The cracktastic effects of the roses will last for only three RPs, not including the RP he gained it in. So if Ami does a solo, then gives the rose away in another RP, then the rose will last for only one more RP before becoming an ordinary white rose. And wilting and dying if not placed in and watered regularly. Why me? Because of this! Questions? Ping Maru.
