((In response to THIS SIGNUP. )) Melvin had never met Marcus Hasan, but the first name had him thinking of Cassandra. She had mentioned his name before, and he frowned in the fact that they were engaged. That meant his secret admirer lie wouldn't work at all. Then again, he could fake it and say it was from his someone special, which he'd guess would mean his soon-to-be wife. He had to wonder what type of guy this man was, but as long as he delivered what he needed to, it really didn't matter.
Finding his room, he knocked twice before waiting, adjusting the tube in one hand and looking at his clipboard with the other.

Marcus woke up slowly unless it was a text. Texts were usually from superiors, and they really never bothered the dorms. Not for trainees, not for hunters. Even if sooner or later him and Cass were going to have a house all to themselves. So as Melvin knocked, Marcus gave a very weak. "Yeah." It took a minute but finally, he answered the door from his nap. "Huh. Oh. New guy." Who's name he didn't know. "Uh, you need something?" A quick glace to the coat. Probably not for Cassandra then. "I was um-" He looked back to the messed bed. "Working." Sleeping. Close enough.

Melvin looked at Marcus as he crawled out of bed, then at the messy bed, then back to him. This was the guy Cassandra was going to marry? Well at least he didn't pull them away from - other things. It was at least a good thing they weren't together in the room or else this would be a bit hard to explain and very awkward.
"Marcus Hasan, right?" He said, reached up to untwist the metal tube he had tucked under once arm. "Seems you got something from a special someone." The clipboard was saving him by making him look official. He took out a rose, glad for his gloves, and handed it to the man, waiting for him to take it. That's all he was here to do. "This is for you."
Melvin did not make eye contact as he handed a barely awake man the rose for him to take. Thank god he was dressed, but the open shirt was not helping how strange this all was.

He was the guy Cass was going to marry. A life with. And spend the rest of her life with and do a bunch of sappy couple things with. He was also the guy who was half awake and just gave a nod to his name. "Yeah. 'M moon division. What do they have you trainees running around this time for?" Please don't be asking to trade off duty shifts He was not trading trainee duties for hunter duties.
"A what." A rose. The balls did that come from. Cass trying to be romantic again? Taking the rose he just stared. "Isn't this like, a couple months late for valentines?"

Great! He had the rose, and he breathed out. "Yeah, but you know some people. Any excuse to give someone something special. Enjoy." He told the man, and glanced to his. "Sorry for waking you." Melvin took Saliva and marked Marcus off the list. Done!
Turning, he hurried off to find the next person on his list.

iStoleYurVamps Marcus has received a white rose. For three RPs (does not have to be the immediate next three) he will feel happy. He will feel like he has worth and all of his thoughts for said three RPs will be innocent, much to Dis' snickering. Of course, any innuendo Dis will provide will also go straight over Marcus' head. At least until the three RPs are up or unless Marcus trades or gives his rose away, at which point reality will come crashing back down. The cracktastic effects of the roses will last for only three RPs, not including the RP he gained it in. So if Marcus does a solo, then gives the rose away in another RP, then the rose will last for only one more RP before becoming an ordinary white rose. And wilting and dying if not placed in and watered regularly. In order to receive the effect, your character must be touching the rose, or have touched it with their skin/held it for at least five minutes prior. If you want to save it for later, just shove it in a vase somewhere. Why me? Because of this! Questions? Ping Maru.
