 Hughes entered the classroom, opening the door with a wave of his hand. Another wave sent the shades shooting up as light filled the room. He beamed around. Another year! Another class! He shuffled through the large pile of papers and books on what appeared to be the teacher's desk, setting books and stacks of documents aside in thin air as he did so. Halfway through this search he found what he was looking for--a piece of chalk.
Turning with a flourish he wrote in a fancy scrawl, Good Day, my lovely students! My name is Professor Vaughn, but you may call me Hughes if you will! I will be teaching this History class and I assure you we'll have plenty of fun! He paused and looked back at the things floating in mid-air. "Perhaps..." he murmured, his voice a smooth cross between a tenor and bass, "I should neaten up..." Taking his hand from the chalk he left it to continue the frilly message and turned to the desk.
For a moment the man just pondered the mess before suddenly smiling and clapping his hands twice. Immediately the room was spotless. The books were back on the shelves, the papers sorted into their proper bins [though the 'in' box was overflowing], and all the missing chalk was lined up on the board. The tall, blond-haired man smiled and then plopped himself down in the chair, stretching his long 6'2" form out and relaxing a bit before the students showed up.

Feeling: Bored and slightly agitated
Thoughts: I just want this to be over... • You better play your cards right, in this game of life • Annalyn wasn't looking forward to class today, she wasn't in the best of moods, if it wasn't already obvious with the frown on her face. She was already at least an hour late for class which only made it worse. Of course she had considered leaving it for another day, but decided she'd get it over and done with a just relax for the rest of the week, hopefully then she would be in a better mood. She paused when she reached the door of the history class, and was slightly relieved when she opened it to find there was only the teacher present inside. Ann walked in and, choosing a desk right in the front row, sat down. Her head turned to face the window. There wasn't anything interesting, so it was more of a brief glance, before she turned and read what was written on the board. "Professor Vaughn...." She mumbled not really meaning for him to hear. • Make one wrong move, and it'll be the end of you • {Ooc:}

The door opened and Hughes glanced up to watch a young woman enter. He smiled. Ah! Young ladies! They were such beauties, so sweet, so delicate, so lovely~ Actually, all ladies were that beautiful. Even the older ladies who had a sense of reserved wisdom. He sighed a little, momentarily carried away with his thoughts, before noticing that the young woman had a frown on her face. He looked at the clock, wondering if any other students would arrive or if he'd just start the lesson now. It didn't bother him to start it without other students. They were running behind anyway. With a smile the man pushed himself off the desk and stood up.
"Good day, my dear! Might I inquire to your name? It might be faster than reading through the entire list just to search for you." He smiled broadly, the air around him fairly sparkling with his good humor. He had heard her say his name under her breath and figured she was just reading the board.
"Is there anything in particular that you enjoy learning about? Is there anything that you'd like to know about History? Is there a time that you loathe? Is there a time that you love?" The man prattled on as he hunted for his attendance book--the blasted thing had gone missing when he cleaned up the room. Finally he sighed and snapped his fingers. "Come." The book appeared in his hand, meekly opened to the correct page. "Ah, there we are!" He smiled. "Now, your name, miss?"

But only because she wasn't. She opened her mouth to say something, and then he started speaking again asking question after question. Then finally when he was finished. "Annalyn Basete" She paused to think about his previous questions. "A century I loathe...The 17th century." He walks into the door knob, he walks into the room. "What class is this? .......Biology?" He says in a thick Russian accent and notices that that there is only one other student......and she's a girl.....hmmm, he got an interesting idea but she looks young so he isn't sure of flirting with her......
