 The lioness flattened herself against the dew covered grass. The sun had just began to rise forcing the stars back into hiding. An ancient ritual that occured everyday that Ru'yah could count. She took a deep breath. She really didn't feel like moving at the moment. After running around helplessly in search of food, and finally feasting her heart out; she was in lazy mode again. She rolled over onto her back calmly. Grass felt good to roll around in, especially first thing in the morning. Perhapes she'd stay here until mid-afternoon. It was such a great place to relax after all. That and her lack of motivation to move from such a spot, overtook her desire to find a more comfortable location. She'd just relax as long as the sun, or others, allowed her to.

 Jaryx yawned as the light from the rising sun hit him in the eye, causing him to wake from his slumber. He rolled around in the patch of grass he had fallen asleep in, catching quite a bit of dew in his pelt, cooling him down. He stood up with another yawn and stretched out his legs. Once he woke up a little more, he would figure out what he wanted to do and which way he wanted to go. Maybe he would travel to the pride he had left his cousin in and visit him for a bit; it had been a while since he had seen him anyway. As the black and white cheetah slowly began to walk through the grass, he spotted something that was causing the blades of grass to ruffle. He went over and spotted something, or someone, lying there. "Hello."

The black and green lioness cocked her head towards where a voice came from. Ah, it was cheetah. She hadn't expected to see a cheetah first thing in the morning. "Hello, good morning." She said relvently calmly. She was still however unmotivated to move even in the slightest.

Jaryx cocked his head to the side at the green and black lioness's greeting. He wondered what she was doing out here and why she had yet to move, even with him standing there. "Morning," he replied as he sat down and curled his tail around his legs.

Ru'yah smiled in slight glee. This cheetah, whoever he was, didn't mind her laying so awkardly on the wet grass. Though, it'd probabley dry up soon. Then the sun would start getting hot, and Ru'yah would finally have to move to a different spot. Preferably under shade. Ah, that would be so much effort. For now she'd enjoy just remainding where she was until her back would start to hurt. Then she'd roll back over on her stomach. It was a simple and easy plan. She liked those. "I'm Ru'yah, so who are you?" She asked.

The cheetah stared at her as she smiled at him. What had he done for her to smile about? Or was she just smiling because she was getting her fur soaked in what was left of the morning dew? He causally licked at one of his paws to get some of the dew off. He nodded slightly when she told him her name. "I am Jaryx."

Jaryx. "Jar~yx." She stretched his name while yawning. She felt a ping in her back and decided it was time to roll over. She ended up somewhat closer to this "Jaryx" then she intended. Oh well. It would be fine. She didn't know that for sure but she felt he had no intentions of harming her. "Where you from? I'm from... Over there." She pointed at the patch of grass she had just rolled out of.

When Ru'yah rolled closer to him after rolling on to her stomach, Jaryx stepped back a step. Though he was sure the lioness wouldn't harm him, he still didn't want to be too close to her. Where was he from? "I'm from these lands," he replied after some thought. He and his cousin had been raised in the rogue lands until they were grown enough to go on their own and his cousin decided to choose the weird party pride.

The lioness drooped her head on her paws and listened to the cheetah's responce. "Oh..." She was slightly disapointed. She was hoping he came from somewhere exciting, or had something to do and she could tag along. She loved doing favors for people, because right after she finished them she could sleep again. "I'm bored..." She said, although she didn't really need to report this to... Oh what was his name again, he had just said it... That's right, Jaryx. She didn't need to really tell him anything, but she was hoping he'd have a chore of some kind she could help out with. Then she could go back to sleeping, and it'd be worth it.

Jaryx felt his stomach rumble as the lioness started to look down hearted. If she was bored, maybe she would be interested in helping him hunt down breakfast. Though he would have to share the meal; it had been awhile since he had to share his catch with someone. "If you'd like, you could help me hunt down breakfast," he offered.

Oh, hunting. Ru'yah just went hunting. If she hunted again she wouldn't eat any of the kill. Maybe a few bites though. Ah, but that mean't getting up. Still, if Jaryx just walked away she'd be all alone and bored again. So, she forced herself to stand up. "Alright. I found a herd of gazelle over there." She guested to her right. "There is a lot of them. Easy meal."

Jaryx looked in the direction she point towards. Depending on what time she had found the herd, they could be gone by now. Though with the sun just having risen, they could just be waking up and would be easy prey. "Would you like to join me?"

"Yes, I'll go with you." She said while in mid-yawn. "Because I'm bor~ed..." She flexed her toes and stretched before she walked off towards where the herd last was. She could sleep after this. Oh, maybe she could watch Jaryx eat. Though, that wouldn't be very fun. Just odd. And boring.

The lioness's attitude was beginning to get to him. Even his cousin hadn't been so lax. Did she not feel the urge to travel or explore? He hoped it was just the early morning that had left the lioness feeling lazy. He nodded and took the lead, slinking off in the direction of the supposed herd. He wondered if she really would follow and help him out.

Ru'yah stayed a perferable distance between Jaryx and herself. This might be fun actually. She hadn't had a hunting buddy in a long time. When she spotted the herd, she slowed to almost a complete halt and crouched in the grass. Oh, this was tiring. But, Jaryx had invited her along, she couldn't refuse an invitation out of bordem.
