 Catori had not really felt like being all that adventurous lately. If she did she certainly would prefer one of her siblings accompany her. Today unfortunately they were both to busy to bother. Catori had slowly wondered away from where she and her siblings usually stayed.Today was too pretty to just stay in one place. The sky was clear and blue, a light breeze raced across the lands. The unknown scents it brought Catori almost seemed to dare her to leave the familiar place. As she walked and tried to soak in all that the world had to offer she stumbled upon a small stream.
Catori was born with a tail, a tail suited for swimming but had not yet learned to do so. She was a little afraid of the water actually. It was hard for her to admit this. The stream looked shallow so Catori decided that she could maybe investigate it. With small slow steps the filly managed to get all four hooves into the water.
"That's not so bad" Catori breathed out loud. She figured as long as she stayed on the shallow edge she would be ok. Feeling a little more adventurous she set out splashing and laughing

 Isilmé trotted along the grass, wings fluttering with each step she took. It was her favourite day; the kind where the sun was shining but it wasn't exhaustingly hot. A breeze blew her hair around, carrying with it the scents of the flora around her.
The sound of laughter and water were carried to her ears, too and they perked up, trying to locate the sound. It didn't take her very long and she turned in the direction and spotted a small stream a small ways away. On the shoreline of the stream, she spied.. Colour? She wasn't sure what she was seeing. It looked like a ball of colour bouncing around.
Isilmé took off at a run, leaping and fluttering towards the stream and the magnificent ball of colour. As she got closer, the ball began to take a differe form. Four limbs, a head and a tail where hair should be. She stopped a little ways away from the water and tilted her head. "Hey."

Catori whipped her head around as she heard a voice behind her. The filly stumbled slightly on the slippery rocks as she scanned to find where the voice had come from. Catori had trouble at first finding the someone. Then she noticed that what she had considered to be a lovely and elaborate tree was in fact a young filly.
"oh....hello there." Catori turned her head slightly before blurting out
"Are you a tree spirit?" As she thought about it her tail swished slowly in the water. After pausing she realized that maybe....her question might be rude. But it was already out there.

Isilmé tilted her head and blinked at the mare a few times. "A tree spirit? I don't think so..."
She watched the girl in the stream, tail swishing through the water with ease. "Are you a water spirit?" She took a few steps, entering the stream enough so her hooves were wet. She hadn't been.. swimming before and she was a little nervous and scared. Leaning forward, she took a drink from the stream before stomping around and splashing.
"You're very pretty. Like a rainbow."

"Ohhh...." Catori was a little disappointed she hadn't just met a tree spirit. But this new filly was certainly interesting looking. Sighing Catori looked to her hooves as she replied.
"No...I'm just me...I guess." smacking the surface of the water she added.
"I can't even swim yet" Catori shrugged and looked back up at the other girl.
"Thank you." She smiled at the compliment still sad about not being able to swim.
"Have you ever seen a real one?" Catori asked absentmindedly as she learned over slightly to look at the other filly. She was distracted by the other girl's wings.
"You look like a magical forest." Catori giggled happily forgetting to be upset over her inability to swim.
