This is the area where, Kawashii, does all of her heavy thinking, and mourns the loss of the previous Captain, usually having paperwork that is done first thing in the morning.
A miniature shrine to the previous Captain is in the far back left corner, with an incense pot in front, and tear stains that cover the floor in front of it, where, Kawashii, often lets her regrets go, so that she may be able to protect her squad, as she was looked after.
The desk has two drawers on either side, though they are hardly ever used, unless she is looking to keep something hidden, while she keeps the key in her room, at her house.
She has a table out in front of her desk, that is used for when she has guests visiting her, while she is not busy on duty. The table has a warming blanket, with multiple place mats, in case she is in need of entertaining more than one guest at a time, with a tea set ready, so that all she needs to do is add water..

Having just finished the pile of paperwork, that she had been working on for a half hour, Kawashii, reached her small hands towards the ceiling, lacing them together in a stretch. Feeling refreshed, after finishing what was needed, she began to wonder what else may be done, guessing that maybe she could do an advanced training session with her squad. It would be a good opportunity to do some sort of bonding with her squad, feeling that they may be slipping in discipline.
Placing the paper work at the head of her desk, she usually used it as a reminder that she would need to send it off, when she stepped out. Going to the back, where she kept the shrine, she gave a weak smile to the previous Captain's memory, unable to shake the feeling that she may be resented for her decision. The shrine seemed to spark her memories, of the struggle for her own survival, as she was forced to face off against her, in her final moments.

Kaida groaned before stretching her arms above her head. Opening her eyes she looked around to find herself in unfamiliar surroundings. ‘Crap…not again…’ The sheets next to her were still warm so as quickly and quietly as possible she slid out of the strange futon and started grabbing her clothes from the floor. She quickly slid into her uniform and headed for the door. Fortunately she was able to sneak out without meeting her companion from the night before.
Upon finding herself outside she couldn’t help but wince. “The eleventh…great…it just had to be the eleventh…” Sneaking about she easily made her way out of the eleventh division before taking to the rooftops and flash stepping to her own division. Getting out of the eleventh was the easy part…getting to the offices without encountering her captain, was going to be a major pain in her a**. Kaida easily dimmed her spiritual pressure and began the walk to the division offices. She could sense Captain Zenryoku somewhere near the captain’s quarters and for a moment the redhead paused.
“She’s mourning again…I should go to her.” Kaida looked about and with a heavy sigh she relinquished some of the hold on her spiritual pressure. She would give her captain a chance to make herself presentable before she intruded on the young woman.
‘Or perhaps you should just leave her alone.’ Kaida rolled her eyes at Kagehebi’s suggestion. ‘Kaida, you can’t just barge into her quarters unannounced.’ The lieutenant made her way to the second division’s captain’s quarters and further relinquished the hold on her spiritual pressure, so that there was no doubt that her captain knew she was approaching. Upon reaching Kawashii's quarter's Kaida knocked loud enough for the captain to hear.

The scent of smoke slowly wafted through the hallway leading to the Second Division Captains Office. Caius strolled casually through the hallway, his Zanpakuto slung over his shoulder. Caius smiled and waved at a few of the unseated members of the Divison as he passed them, Most of the bowed to him as he walked by, some just muttering 'Lieutenant Raizo'. Caius had only come to the Division for one reason and he spotted that reason as he turned a corner. Caius silently appeared beside Sukashima, his reiatsu surpressed to its lowest point. "I'm guessing someone had a hell of a night at the Eleventh Division." He whispered into her right ear. He chuckled and stepped back from her slightly. The brown haired Lieutenant only seen Sukashima by mere coincidence. He had been watching the sky from a rooftop not far from where she had first jumped up. Caius thought he would tease his friend slightly, Kinda like the days in the Academy. Thinking back he always noticed how she was always into her studying and her ways of Identifying plants and creating poisons made her one tough customer to compete with if you wanted to survive in the wild. Caius himself took pride in his skills at combining high level kido and his own techniques. Unlike most of the Captains none of the other Lieutenants knew about Caius's True Zanpakuto, as they have only seen him use his fire type release. Caius smiled at the girl and then looked at the door. "How's Captain Zenryoku?" he asked with a friendly tone of voice.

Kaida nearly leapt out of her skin when Caius snuck up on her and on instinct grabbed for her zanpakutō. ‘FML…’ The redhead scowled at her friend. “The eleventh? I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about…” Her voice was low and she gave a passing recruit a death glare. “Even if I was where you say I was…doing what you think I was doing…it’s all your fault!” She relinquished her hold on her zanpakutō only to poke him in the chest. “If you had come out with me like you’d promised, you could’ve taken me back to your place instead of letting me end up sleeping on the most uncomfortable futon in the entire Soul Society!”
With a heavy sigh she turned her attention back to her captain’s door. “I worry about her…she’s too hard on herself…I just wish she’d confide in me…” Her expression had turned to one of worry. It was hard not knowing what went on in her captain's mind and she couldn't help but feel like the hard, cold exterior she wore at work was all just an elaborate facade.
‘How can you tolerate his presence? He allowed you to wind up in that den of barbarians! He calls himself a friend but he’s nothing but a piece of-’
“Kagehebi says hi and that he’s oh so happy that I have such a wonderful friend like you.” The ranting and raving of her zanpakutō spirit was nothing more than his normal jealous whining. Over the years Kaida had grown accustomed to her spirit's jealousy, granted it still got on her nerves but she knew that Kagehebi only had her best interests in mind. "Anyway...why are you here? More importantly how does my hair look and do I still smell like sex?"

watching Kaida nearly leap out of her skin almost made Caius double over with laughter. He felt sorry for the recruit whom had been passing by and got the death glare from Kaida, one that people know they don't want to see. Caius, simply waved and smiled at the passerby and kept chuckling. When she poked his chest he held his hands up as if he was being held at gun point. "Whoa, It's not my fault, Head Captain Shizūmi-san had me doing Paper work till late that night, Though...." Caius's tone of voice grew slightly deeper and more serious. "I had gotten a message from Squad 12 saying that they had found more information about my son..." the story was known well throughout the Seireitei about Caius's family being killed by escaped hollows and his son going missing. Caius looked back to Kaida and then smiled, his serious tone complete vanishing in an instant. He frowned slightly and then gave Kaida a warm smile. "Don't worry, I'm sure she know's you're here for her." He said and his eyes went straight to her Zanpakuto. "Well tell Mr. Kagehebi, that I'm Oh so happy that you've got such a pain in the a** Zanpakuto!"he said and winked at Kaida with a chuckle, Though that soon vanished as Caius's own Zanpakuto spirit materialized behind him and hit him across the back of his head. "Dont be mean Caius!" Yoso looked at Kaida and smiled, "Its good to see ya again Kaida~" Yoso said with a smile, Caius just looked at Yoso and sighed, rubbing the back of his head, "Hey, you're a pain in the a** too...." he glared. After his head stopped hurting Caius took a poof of his nearly burnt out cigarette, "Oh, I only came here for something to do, Captain Shizūmi gave me the morning off...." with a sniff cauis chuckled, "You're fine, no one will suspect a thing.... Who was he anyway?" He said with another chuckle.

The redhead gave Yoso a grin, “Yoso, gorgeous as always! Good to see you’re keeping Caius in line here.” Kaida liked the other spirit and she was always a welcome sight. She turned her attention back to her fellow lieutenant. When he asked about her fling from the previous night she bit her lip. “I’m a bit fuzzy on the details…I think he was blonde, blue eyes maybe.” She gave an uneasy chuckle. “Great kisser…nice arms, no tattoos unfortunately but he didn’t snore.” She cast a glance at her captain’s door before deciding that the younger woman probably wanted to be left alone.
Grabbing Caius’ arm she hopped up and gave him a peck on the cheek. “I’m hungry and you owe me breakfast for abandoning me last night! I’ll even let you pick where we go! You can also tell me what the twelfth said.” She’d give anything to be able to see her friend and his missing son reunited, if it meant breaking into the twelfth division and stealing the information, roughing up a couple of their recruits or even just combing the Rukongai on her time off she’d do it.

Yoso bowed to Kaida and gave a big smile. "Thank you, At least you know what a Lady want's to hear, Unlike him..." Yoso glared at Caius and he began chuckling. "You're far from a Lady, Yoso" Caius chuckled. When Kaida gave him a peck on the cheek he blushed slight and laughed. "Fine, I'll treat you to Lunch, And I think I know just the place." He said as he hooked his arm around Kaidas and dragged her along. "Haha, It sounds like you must ov' had fun with him, and you wear clearly too drunk!" Caius said. Yoso walked behind them with her arms folded, "Since you two are just going to talk, I'll leave you alone then..." she said as she went up in flames. Like always, her flames never burnt anything around her, which is what Caius just had to say to reassure a passerby as Yoso burst into flames.

Continuing on with her prayers, Kawashii, could here a slight commotion outside of her door, though she wasn't concerning herself with the problem right then. Though it was a sad thought, she never left the alter with anything but a smile, letting the previous Captain know that her squad was going to be alright. Raising herself to her feet, she had noticed how the commotion had ended, feeling that she may have neglected the outside world for too long.
As her paces brought her closer to the door, she gripped O-Ruoanashingu's hilt, as she mentioned, "It's time for us to begin our day."
Pushing the door open, she took a step outside, before sliding the door shut, as she closed her eyes for a moment feeling for the reiatsu that was first to the door. As she opened her eyes, she noticed a note that looked to be addressed to her. Kneeling down to grab the parchment, the handwriting was very familiar. Seeing that it was just a request for a grant through the Senkaimon, she knew that it would probably be a grant of leave as well.
Her lieutenant was in her highest regards, though her personal life style wasn't something that she could respect. Her skills were of the top that she had seen, allowing her decision to be simple, in making the red head her lieutenant. With a quick steady pace, she went for the training hall, where she could feel turmoil welling up within the reiatsu of her subordinate.
