 He probably should have been home doing school work. He probably should have been looking for a after-school job. He probably should have been doing a lot of things. But out of all those Probables...he liked what he Was doing. Which currently was providing Fen with pleasant company! Haven tucked his hands in his pockets as he peered down the street with a grin pulling his lips upwards. Haven glanced over at his friend. "So...socks or no socks?" He asked with a teasing grin. "I'm rather happy to be seeing where you live by the way. Does this mean I get to invite you over to my place soon?"

 "Oh God - please. Socks. I said they were judgemental, not that their depth perception was lacking." he said, and then sighed - looking from the house to Haven and then back to the house again. "I don't live right..." he complained and then started up to the door. He ignored the question about seeing each others places. Knowing Haven, at best it was a sexual innuendo or a pun, and at worst it was both. This was the plan - just go, get his fiddle and get out as quickly as he could - before his mother saw Haven and started to natter away about how good it was that he was finally being normal and trying to find the right girl for him.
His plans, however, were short lived. His eagle eyed mother had seen them coming - and she wasn't taking no for an answer when it came to seeing her son's newest.. and only... friend. So after a few minutes sighing and himhawing the other blonde came out of the house looking just plain frazzled. "She... Wants to meet my new girlfriend." he said, and twitched.

Fen's exasperation brought a smile to his lips. It wasn't that he enjoyed making trouble for his friend, or seeing his stressed out. All he was doing was having a little bit of fun. A little laugh. Which he hoped later Fen would share of course. "All right all right." He said with a chuckle. His hands lifted in a small waving motion. "I'm not too keen to take my socks off anyways. They would be tiny bumps and hardly flattering at all." Haven paused as they stepped up onto the porch. Considering the trouble Fen was anticipating just having him follow him home, he decided to not even jest at going inside. Instead he tucked his hands down his back pockets, settled for rocking back and forth on his heels, and waited for his friend to fetch his treasure and flee.
"girl...friend..." Haven very slowly broke the word into two. His brow eye perked up some in a questioning manner. He didn't want to make Fen's situation worse...but he didn't want to perpetuate a pretend situation either. Carefully he tugged on his lip stud with his fingers and eyed the door. Exhaling softly he forced a smile to his lips. "I'll try not to embarrass you." He promised Fen before reaching for the door.
