 Settling on the lightly moist grass, the young mare looked around at her surroundings which was only just a wide open field of different heights of grass. She didn't know what she was going to do today other then travel a little more and possibly do a little bit of praying. It depended on what came about as the day went on, but for right now it appeared nothing interesting was going to happen yet at all. Though one thing was making her think more then usual. Her father told her a few days ago that he had a twin sister. This was something that came as a shock to her since she hadn't met her before or even knew she existed. Hania made it clear that the subject was a little touchy and she could understand why he wouldn't let any of the children know, but she would at least like to meet her. Whether she be exiled or not, she was still part of their blood. Now that she was older she was more analytical and it would be the perfect time to meet this long lost family member. The only problem was finding her.
Luckily her father told her Adalyn's favorite spot.
As she rose to her feet, she wandered slowly away from the open field feeling calmness sweep over her delicate features. She was ready for the day and if she didn't meet this long lost relative then she wouldn't let it bring her any kind of anguish. So she walked with her head held high and her eyes darting around for signs of any movement. She was going to see if she would be at her spot. If she wasn't then maybe another day or another time she would finally get to meet her aunt.
As she neared the spot, she halted her movements and looked around for some kind of living thing.

 The area was silent but that was not anything new. Watching the spirits before her she shifted slightly wondering what it was like to be one. Having nothing better to do she spend most of her days now spirit gazing. She had no longing for love and her family was split and broken not much to live for. Titan was still around but he to had his own things to take care of she was nothing but a ghost wandering the world. Why she had made her choices she would never know why would the spirits want her to live like this? Was it punishment for an unknown crime?
Sighing to herself hiding under her mask she gets up and wanders the forest. Not sure where to go heading to her spot in the woods or something like that. She longed for those days when there was someone by her side but love was false it never lasted. She knew that would happen and though she wished it would not fate had its way. Wandering on she spotted something in the distance and slowly approached not sure what it could be.

The young mare heard rustling in the distance making her turn to face the direction from which it came. She didn't know what or who it was at first until she began walking towards whatever it was. She wasn't scared and didn't believe it was something that could harm her. Halting her advances, she tilted her head slightly at the mare who came closer and closer. She seemed familiar, but she couldn't place it. The mask she wore and her colors seemed oddly familiar to that of her father's, but she wasn't going to assume. She couldn't assume it would be rude of her. "Hello miss. Are you lost or wandering on this beautiful morning?" She asked giving the other a small smile. She wasn't like her sister when it came to emotions, but she didn't show them very often. She mostly gave little hints on how she was feeling, but beyond that it was a null.
"If you need help with something I'm sure I can be of service." She told the other mare not sure of what to say or do at the moment. "I don't want to be rude, but you remind me of someone I know. Your look at least." She said softly and promised herself she wouldn't have said that. It only made her bow her head very slightly before moving a little away from her into the open field once more.

Slowing down as she reached the figure she saw it was only a mare. Signing to herself she just stood there and listen to what the mare was saying through not really paying her much attention. This mare hurt her eyes with her brightness and she found it hard to meet her gaze whoever it was. She had no idea why the spirits would lead her to some bright mare in the middle of her path. Finally looking up at the mare she just saw she could just me another traveler or wanderer. Shaking her head slowly she looks o the sky
"I do not need any help..I am also not lost but it seems you might be..What is there to be happy about ?" eyeing her again from her mask she snorts "I am a lost wanderer..and lost spirit..but i know where i am going.." nodding to herself she steps around the mare watches her move into the open and starts on her way again not thinking twice about her. "The last thing i need..are friends"

Nidawi just stared at the mare for a long moment. She was being a little rude, but she wasn't going to chastise her for that at the moment. After all, not everyone was raised on the same manners. She simply let her pass by her not thinking anything of it . She didn't know what to say to her or why she was being so depressed. "I am not lost. I always know my way around here because during my foals years I traveled all around to make sure I knew where I was going. You may not need help looking for a certain place, but you certainly need some kind of help." She told her before shaking her head very slightly. "There is everything to be happy about. Life is to short to be wallowing around in despair every single day. If you do then you shouldn't be living." She said looking away up to the sky with a small sigh. Maybe this was a bad idea? Maybe waiting for this mare was turning out to be a wrong idea. She hadn't shown up yet and she didn't know if this was the mare she was waiting for.
"If you don't want friends then I'm not stopping you. That is your choice." She told her in a soft tone of voice as she looked back to the mare with her black eyes. "By any chance are you Adalyn?" She asked tilting her head slightly to the side. If this was indeed her aunt then she had a lot of work ahead of her. Then again she didn't even know why she wanted to look for. her.

She kept walking through the trees blending in with them but still able to hear the other mare speak. Stopping for a moment she pushes back the other way back to the mare and come to a stop near her. "Then you are a bold mare..to be travling and to know this place..i spend my entire life here..i do not need help from another..my life had only fallen apart" staring at the mare from her mask she looks her over and sighs "I am not trying to come across as some strange rude mare..this is just the way things are now..for me" turning around again she starts to retreat back into the woods but finds herself turning around again.
"Happy? What is there to be happy about? A broken bond and family? Love that would never last? Sons who have wandered off and never looked back? All but one who is a wander to?" she shakes her head slowly "I should just go a join the spirits..i watch them but i have no wish to die..this is how i make the best of things..whoever you are you have no way of understanding.." this mare had no idea about her life and to make judgements about herself did not seem right "I have no trust so how can i make friends? If no one is even trying to understand me..i am alone now i have no family..my brother has pushed me aside for what i believe..i care not to think of him" looking down for a moment her heart feels cold as ice but suddently her ears perk up and her head whips up her mask flying off in the process reveling her white eyes and long hair "How do you know my name..? Is this some kind of trick..? eying the mare and meeting her gaze she slowly circles her bwildered by the fact "How do you know who i am..?"

The young mare listened to the other before looking away after was said and she was asked a question. This was her aunt. She couldn't believe her aunt turned out to be in such a mess at the moment. She didn't know what to say at first because she was sure this wasn't going to lead to anything good. "I know your name because you are my aunt and I am your niece. Hania Shen is my father...." She said not sure of how this was going to go from here. She had no idea she was broken away from the family and honestly felt a little sad for her aunt. She didn't have anyone to turn to by the sound of it and that is hard. It's hard to not have someone to talk to let along family to have your back. Though right now at this moment there wasn't anything she could say to make this all better. Nothing could take away the loneliness the other mare probably was feeling at the moment.
"Why haven't your children been introduced to my father or to the rest of us? Did something happen?" She asked remembering her father saying that he never met them before.

Eying the mare again shock turning into something more on her face. How could he have not told her he had a mate? None the less that he had a family and foals with her? Would it be so hard to leave a message if anything? Not even the spirits could have told her about this news. She stood there like a statue and focused on the spirits not wanting to talk to this mare her family did not even car enough to let her know what was going on. Looking past the mare she shook her head and snorted "I do not wish to hear my brothers name..I do not know if you are telling the truth or simply lieing..How can i be an aunt? It does not seem possible.."
shaking her head more she turns her back from the mare not wanting to see her. She wanted to reject the fact she knew this was real but she wanted to forget. She was alone now this mare was nothing if she looked at her she would be able to tell the truth but the bridge had been burned and it seemed there was no mending it.
"My children..? They have tried to meet with you so i have heard..They were only pushed away by my so called family..Titan tried to fix what has been broken but they pushed him away as they did me..I have been wandering for quite some time mare..you even failed to mention your name" she huffs and turns back around gazing at the mare "I would never had guessed he had found a mate and even started a family..why have we crossed paths?" walking over to where her mask was she gently picked it up and held it in her mouth before a raven swoops down and grabs it then drops it allowing her to put it back on. gazing back to the mare she stand her ground not at all frightend but her tone growing with hatered "He pushed me aside for my beliefs and what i was raised on..he broke his own code that he taught me..and i will not accpect his choices " bitterly kicking the earth she looks back at the mare "You could never understand..what it is like to break a bond that was once unbreakable.."

Nidawi looked at her aunt in disbelief. Then again she could understand why she was the way she was. "Why would I lie about family? I am not a horrible person nor would I need to degrade my very being by putting myself in such a serious position." She said to her not really changing her stance or moving one inch after her. This was something she was not going to chase after. If her aunt didn't want this then she wasn't going to press it. "Running away from your problems won't do you any good. It's cowardice and you know where my father is. If your truly troubled by this then you can always go talk to him though he could do the same I suppose." She said shaking her head and sighing. "How can it not be possible? Me, being your niece isn't possible? I have two fathers and a mother who is going to be there with us forever. My father loves my other father Enitan, but they obviously can't have children so my mother Marika is there to give them that miracle. For being in a family like this I assumed you would be more open-minded and accepting of various things.." She took a deep breath before looking away into the distance.
"I don't think your children were pushed away. Do you actually have a valid confirmation that they were pushed away? Did my father say that with his own mouth or are you assuming?" She paused at the older mare's snappy attitude making her turn her head to Adalyn. "My name is Nidawi which you failed to ask for. Don't get angry with me because of things between you and my father. I did not have anything to do with your problems and by taking them out on me it just shows that you have no respect let alone any dignity. Being rude is a stain that can't be erased as well as this first impression that I have of you." She shook her head feeling a calmness sweep over her. "A mate? He has a lovemate not a mare mate. Is this what you can't accept? It has to be because I'm sure he has mentioned to you that he is a gay stallion yet you mention a mate like he has a mare at his side all the time." She said tilting her head to the other side now before sighing. "I came looking for you because I wanted to meet my aunt, but obviously I have made the wrong choice. If you don't want to meet me left alone meet the other 7 children that are related to you...then just let me know this now." She said to her feeling the breeze pick up making her jewelry clink together.
"What choices did he make? What choices did you make? Your assuming once again that I am inferior to you and your pain. I may be young and inexperienced, but by examining you...Seeing your anguish and feeling the depressive attitude makes me understand exactly what your going through." She felt a little better that things were getting off her chest, but at the same time it didn't really look good. She could feel everything breaking apart even more.

Sighing to herself to eyes the mare again "I always believed my brother was my only family..to find out that there are more members out there..it came as a shock..now to find out that i have even more family..it is hard to believe after fending for myself when i was just a filly" she looks down at the ground her past quickly coming back "I never said you were a horrible mare i just find all of this..hard to believe" looking back at the blue mare she grows cold again "I am not running away from anything i do not know where my brother is..If i did i would not be begging at his hooves or asking for forgiveness.." she snorts and eyes the sky "When the time is right we must both forgive each other.."
Wanting to just leave and walk away from everything something keeps her in the spot. "Two fathers..that does not sound right to me it cannot sound right to me..i have never met this Enitan you speak of..or your mother im not sure if i ever will..i grew up with my own beliefs it is hard for me to think..does your mother love my brother..? Did she leave or is she still there for your family..?" her mind wanders and she wonders if the mares mother had accepted the truth but fell in love even knowing what she was getting into "I am not trying to give anyone a bad name..I just wish to know more about this so called family..and how close everyone is"
Sighing to herself again she shakes her head "No..i just thought Titan came back so soon..i thought he was turned down..I have not heard from my brother in a very long time" looking off into the distance she ingores the tone the mare had taken "Nidawi..? I am not getting angry at you for this problem to be solved i need to speak to my brother..i need to talk to him..that is the only way" shifting in her place she contuines " I cannot understand how one can think like that..he never told me when we were foals and it came so suddenly..it was such a hard thing to accpect..that fact was stronger than our bond.."
she did not want the walls around her heart to break she still felt no love but she felt something else. The things that had been on her mind were finally spoken and a huge burdon had been lifited off her shoulders "I can forgive him..for what he never did..i may never understand but family is family..I do not wish to be cold or unkind to you or the others..i will always be distant but i wish to be known in the family again.." looking to the sky she knew that never would she be perfect or be able to fully understand her brother but one bond mended was better than none at all. It was still broken though all she had spoken were words. This mare was not her brother and if she really wanted to explain herself she would have to meet him. her heart was still cold she still did not want to beleive the truth.
"I find it hard to take all of this in..for now things are still left broken..when the time is right i will seek out your father..but that time is not now..my heart is still cold no matter what i have said..i am glad we have met though.." she nods at the mare "When the spirits say the time is right i will seek out my brother..but that time is not now"
