Usually the stern wraith wouldn't be curious at all of any new students, but after hearing there would be another 'spook' floating through campus, Gallows' interest had been aroused, if ever so slightly. He had left his tutoring office early, knowing and reveling in the fact that he wouldn't have any visitors. Many students found his presence uncomfortable to say the least. That didn't bother the man one bit of course; it meant he could do as he pleased with his abundance of free time. Currently, he had taken to tracking the Academy's new specter. Knowing he had all the time in the world Gallows even walked, but easily passed through solid walls if he felt like taking a shortcut. As he turned a corner, he spied the back of a student disappearing through the door leading to the music room.

The wraith didn't bother using the door either, and simply walked through it. He stopped just behind the girl, listening to her talk in a language he did not understand. Judging from the sweeps of her head she must have been admiring the room's impressive collection of instruments. His crimson iris' studied her for a moment more before he spoke, asking flatly, “New student?”

Credit where it was due; most girls would flinch if he had randomly appeared behind them. Gallows held a less than friendly look thanks to what he was, not that it was his fault, and more importantly, not that he cared. Placing his hands on his hips the man stared down into the golden eyes of the student. She wasn't a very lively one it seemed, no pun intended. "How's day one going for ya? Finding your classes and room alright?"

"Good, good," said the man nodding in approval. "Don't forget to sort out your dorm room later, too." His eyes scanned the music room then, as if studying the place. While Gallows did enjoy listening to certain styles of melodies, he had never cared enough to learn how to play an instrument. He shrugged his shoulders as he looked back to the student. "Kazama's the music teacher here, but she must be out running an errand or something. I'm Gallows myself; the Academy's tutor." As an afterthought, he quickly added, "Though don't be asking me how to play an instrument."

Eying Juan, still relaxed with her headphones on, Gallows smirked. "..running errands," he said once more, raising his hands to point to both of his ears with a knowing smile. The resounding 'thud' just outside the doorway made him look over his shoulder. The tutor said nothing as the music teacher approached the female student. Instead, Gallows moved off to the door to assess the class's new visitor. Opening the door, he then stared down at the boy laying on the floor. Crimson eyes looked to the fallen pair of glasses, then back to the boy. "..in a rush, kid?"
