Michiko stifled her tears as she watched her now grown daughters. Her hooves pawed at the ground, leaving deep furrows, the only sign of her sadness. Her violet eyes looked around for Jaromir. It had seemed just like yesterday that Arachnae brought her truest love back to her... and now.. they had four more children together... and they were full grown.

Arachnae stood off to the side of her family's meadow home, wondering if Jara would be showing up anytime soon, with her lifemate Huel. Arachnae knew that the couple were trying for children, and she was truly happy for them. Her sister would make a wonderful mom. But what no body but Nae herself knew, was that this was the one time in her life, that she truly felt alone. She had left Paimon... He... needed some time to himself and she likewise, and when she had returned from her journeys, Jara had lifemated to Huel and they had gone off together. Nae tried not to hang her head in sadness when she didn't see the familiar yellow female walking up.

Asti Looked around for the rest of her sisters, her tail twitching in excitement. They were finally full grown and old enough to go off by themselves, without mother or father. Asti's green eyes flickered back and forth, unable to stay on one focused object. She was excited. Her sisters were so beautiful. Just like their mother and father. And Nae was home. Would Jara be coming?

Naomi cocked her head from where she was laying under the shade of a tree. Asti, as usual, being her impatient self and not able to wait for her sisters to experience her same wonderlust. Nay felt that, and wanted to go exploring, but she didn't want to leave her mom and sisters alone. She knew her father would take care of himself and everyone else, but that didn't mean she didn't worry over them. Her father, Naomi thought with a smile, boy would momma be surprised!

Jara had been spending quite a bit of time with her mate, Huel. After they found each other again, they lifemated and had been happy ever since. She couldn't imagine her life without him, but she was getting a little homesick...and that was when her father had found her. Jara loved her father dearely, he had always been there for her in his silent way. Now, he told her that the girls were growing so fast and that Michiko was missing her as well as Nae even though she wouldn't admit it and he requested that she come home for a bit to spend some time with the family. Of course, she agreed instantly. Parting with Huel had been difficult, but she made her way back to the glen with her father quickly.

Jaromir hesitated outside their glen, turning towards his bright daughter. "Stay here, sweetie, so you can surprise them." He suggested as he entered the glade by himself, going straight to Michi. It was hard to be away from his love, the only one he ever truely loved.

Jara waited a fraction of a minute before bursting into the glen and running straight towards Nae, skid to a stop but ended up running ungracefully into her sister.

Michiko smiled at her beautiful, wise daughter. "I am fine, my love." She said softly. Just a second or so before Jaromir came into view, Michi's ears perked up. She could feel him in her heart as he approached. She turned to his expected return and saw his eyes glittering with an unknown secret. Michiko left her daughter's side to trot up to her mate, rubbing her neck against his in a loving greeting. She opened her mouth to ask where he'd been, when a flash of yellow came streaking through the meadow and crashed into Nae.

Nae whinnied in alarm and had turned, just in time to see the yellow mare collide into her. But instead of being upset or hurt, Nae grinned brightly as she fell to the ground with her sister, her best friend, her better half. "JARA!" She whinnied with glee as she tried to look her sister over. She'd missed her better half so much... Without her, Arachnae felt lost, and she didn't want to leave her sister's side ever again.

Asti whinnied at the sight of Jara running into the glen, just seconds after their father's return. Her tail continued to flick back and forth in ecstasy as she made her way to stand between Jaromila and Sugar, pressing close to Sugar's side as she did so. "Everyone is home again." She said brightly.

Naomi smiled at her 5 sisters, her poor father being the only male among them. "I agree." She said happily as she pranced around, not sure whether she should go to her parents or stay with her sisters or go greet Jara. Naomi decided to stay with her siblings and watch from afar, her tail twitching with pent up energy.

Jaromir nuzzled his mate, their girls were finally all together. It had not always been easy to find Jara, but he did, knowing Michiko would be happy to have them all back together again.

Jara smiled happily, untangling herself from her sister. "I missed you Nae!! How were your travels?!" She exclaimed happily as she stood up. "You all grew..." Wonder filled her voice as she smiled at her younger siblings. "I'm sorry I have been absent while you all were growing up...I'm..Jara." She worried that maybe her own sisters didn't know who she was, but she supposed that it wouldn't be too bad if they did...she had been gone for most of their lives.

Michiko chuckled at her children's antics before looking up at her mate with the purest love in her eyes. "Thank you Jaromir my love... For everything... You have given me more than I could ever think to ask for." She smiled lovingly at her mate, knowing that she would never change anything of what had happened to them.

Nae grinned at her sister, trying to hide the pain in her eyes at the thought of her travels. She'd seen so much, and met so many... "My travels were wonderful... and horrible at the same time... I'm just glad ot be home.. actually... Thats something I would like to talk to you about later sis..." She smiled before looking back at their younger siblings.

Asti grinned at her family, her short tail swishing back and forth in her excitement. "Its glad to finally know the face behind the name and stories though." She teased Jara as she leaned into Sugar's side.

Jaromir smiled, knowing all that was left unsaid. "I thought it might be time for the family to be all together again." he commented softly to Michiko.

Jara looked away shyly, "We will have plenty of time to talk Nae, I told Huel I might be gone for a little while and he understood." Her voice was soft as she spoke to her sibling. Then turning to her younger siblings, "I remember when Mama told us she was pregnant with all of you. We were all so excited." She said quietly.

Naomi smiled at Jara, she was much more shy than her other sister Nae, or even more so than herself. "I'm so glad that both of you are here. It's so nice to be able to have time to get to know both of you." She said happily as she pranced over to her parents and nuzzled them both.
