Antique was nervous, though she wasn't sure what of. Perhaps of the fact that she was supposed to have a new mother soon, and this left her suddenly acutely aware that one day she too would find a mate and be a mother? Yet, the thought of such a thing disturbed the fox. Sure, she had met foxes before that were cute. Some ran away from the fox, afraid of her decomposing tail and arm needles. Others stayed, but none she could see mating and having kids with.
Except one.
Her eyes dangerously narrowed, head turning to the side. What a silly though, she admitted to herself. They were friends, childhood friends, and that was it to him. He had shown his disdain for the giggles when people assumed they were something more. Perhaps that was what turned off the switch of possibility. Hell, she would be happy if he choose her, yet that expression he bore as the others laughed and chittered noisily about their friendship...
Oh, what did it matter, anyway? Flicking her tail slightly, the vixen scuffed at herself. Why worry? She was a fox that most were either afraid of or disgusted by. She had a best friend that wasn't afraid of her love for biting (due to her zombie nature) or her hyper personality, and she had a loving father and potential mother. Life was good.
Or so she told herself. She was growing angrier throughout the days, perhaps even hostile at times. It was the looks and judging, to be honest. The fact that she was so damn disgusting to others that was driving her insane. Perhaps that was why she needed to see Munin today, to remind herself that she was still a person, and still cared for. She needed it, she admitted to herself. Badly. Andraste wasn't around much anymore, either hiding or living with her boyfriend, and honestly, she hadn't seen Munin in awhile. She was looking forward to seeing her best friend.

Munnin sighed and looked up at the sky from his position in the tree. He had been out with his Mother looking for different objects she could use for her fortune telling. However this wasn’t the reason he had escaped into his particular tree. He actually liked going out with his mother as it was one of the few times that she actually spent time with him.
He had known right from the beginning how the world treated his Generation of Halloween foxes. Everyone had come out with some sort of mutation and he had gotten the misfortune of having Blood for saliva or something silly like that, and stunted slightly creepy wings. He didn’t really mind too much unless he was trying to talk but his mother who was very occult tune couldn’t stand to come close to him. He had gotten on well with his brother mostly since Hugin couldn’t see. However before they where really able to bond his two mothers went their own way for a while and he stayed with Arcana.
Which was okay for the most part he guessed, he had trouble with the idea for the longest time, probably had a slight Brother complex and he had almost lashed out at Hugin and his mate for reasons Munin still didn’t want to disclose today. However his temper could be quite deadly when ever it was awoken and instead of possibly scaring what little relationship remained between the siblings he had just removed himself from the problem. He had even left his most Treasured Friend behind at the time.
Of course this was for multiple reasons. When ever he was around his brother or his other friends or hell some time his parents they had all practically giggled at the thought that it was only a matter of time until he and Antique got together and they were soul mates or something like that. However despite their intentions this just drove Munin even more pissed off. He hated when people placed expected notions on things. However it wasn’t as if he got sick at the notion of them together. It was more Antique was a very sweet girl and she deserved some one that could make her happy. Munin didn’t really understand love at all. After all he didn’t have many friends, his relationship with his parents was botched at best and Hugin was taken off before that bond could be formed. However Munin had finally come back to the area where he was born and went back to trying to patch his relationships up. Thus why he was currently out Item hunting… well was until Arcana got called off by their clan.

Antique could swear she smelled Munin, however she stayed put. Worry touched her heart as she almost dreaded seeing her best friend. He hadn't visited, not event once. She always stayed here, mostly to look after her birth mother. Why hadn't he visited? Did he find her annoying now? Was that what she was, the annoying zombie girl?
No, this was Munin. He wasn't like that. They were best friends, and always would be. Even he would acknowledge that, right? Had he run away because someone mocked him again? She'd chew their ear off! A soft growl escaped her lips at the thought that someone would dare harass Munin, decomposing tail flicking in agitation. She'd teach them a lesson, for sure.

Munin shook his head and wondered if his mom was going to come back to this area or not. She had mentioned something about it before flying off. Some times he envied his mother for her wings. They where very beautiful and allowed her to escape a lot easier. However the thought process didn’t last long as the sound of someone walking towards him caught his attention. Looking down he noticed it seemed to be Antique.
He went to call out to her when a soft growl escaped her. Tilting his head to the side he wondered what had caused the growl. Hopefully everything had been going okay for her while he was away. He knew others gave her a little bit of grief for her chewing habits. “Hey Antique. Is everything okay” He asked. Normally he would have just curled his tail around the limb and hung down but with his blood affliction that so wasn’t a good idea.

The familiar voice was all she needed to cut those obnoxious worries from her mind, head raising and pale eyes widening, warming as a smile touched her mouth. As hyper as ever she hopped closer, flashing a genuine smile.
"Oh, yes! Totally fine!" She smiled fondly at the male, head tilting to the side gently. "But, don't worry about me! How are you? I feel like it's been forever! Oh, it has been!"
She didn't seem angry that he had been gone for awhile, though the smile wavered slightly. Why had he left for so long? Why had he avoided coming here? Was she unwanted? No. NO. She needed to stop this stupid worrying.

Munin smiled seeing her look up and got up from his perch slowly and carefully making his way down the tree. He hopped off the last few seconds and carried himself to where he was standing right in front of her.
He gave her a warm smile back good that she seemed to be not growling any more. Antique was still one of the few people that actually got to see him smile. However he had to have worried her by just disappearing right?
“That’s good; it’s nice to see you seem to be in good health. I’m doing…. Better to say the least. Sorry I disappeared. I was having some mmm family issues to simplify it. Sorry if I worried you. It was a bit short noticed after all” He commented.

She let out a sigh of relief as he explained his reasoning for being gone. Oh. Oh! While she was sad he had family issues it also meant he had returned because they were gone, right? She smiled in response, though her smile was tense.
"Oh! I was worried I had upset you." She laughed as if she found something silly, head tilting. "Things are better now, right?"

Munin gave out one of his rare smiles and shook his head. “Antique it takes a lot for you to upset me. Unless you went out and murdered my family in cold blood or something ridiculous like that” Then she got to the really tricky question of whether or not his problem had gotten better…. Well?
“Not exactly however it doesn’t bother me as much as it did. I figure the problem often doesn’t come by this area as mom is kind of hard to find unless she wants you to.” Munin stated. “Thanks for asking though”

Another sigh of relief. She offered a smile back at the male, frowning when he mentioned the problem was still at large. She wanted to offer her services, however bit back her tongue quickly. It wouldn't be helpful to pester him, would it? Of course not.
"Well. I like your family. I have no plans on murdering them, luckily! Besides, Vetis would freak!" Vetis didn't come near others much due to his sparkles, muscular frame that made others think he was violent, and tentacles. He was quiet and strong, and apparently very into Hugin.

Munin was glad that Antique wasn’t going to comment on the fact he had basically said his issue was unresolved. He had tried all sorts of things to get the problem to go away and found the best way was to ignore it unfortunately. It probably wasn’t good in the long run but Munin didn’t really care that much about it.
Munin resisted the urge to tense when Antique mentioned Vetis. He had a sort of hate/semi like for the guy. Hate for the fact he had taken pretty much all of Hugin’s attention but he also admired the way that Vetis loved and took care of his brother probably because Munin couldn’t really feel love after all he was just memory right?
“So… what brings you to my second of the world?” Munin asked placing a smile on his face.

She didn't kmow how to answer at first, ears flipping in thought as she considered her responses. She knew the one she wished to say, but the part zombie was unsure how he'd take it. Shrugging mentallly, she nuzzled his cheek affectionately.
"I missed you. I wanted to make sure you were eating properly and healthy." The vixen grinned at the male, dipping her head down to rub at her eye briefly, tail twitching as she attempted to smuggle the need to bite.

Munin looked at her as he waited for her answer. She seemed like she really wanted to tell him something but instead it looked as if she decided against it and rubbed his cheek affectionately. That was okay, he understood the need not to share everything that entered one’s mind.
“ah I suppose I’m eating, not sure if its entirely properly but its better than before” Munnin admitted. At least Arcana was a parent in that respect. “Are you okay?” he asked noticing Antique’s body language. He wondered if he was reading it correctly and it was the same as they where kids but at the same time it was a bit weird to ask ‘oh do you need to chew something’

The vixen gave him a sly look, then offered a pout. Oh course he'd notice her discomfort. He always did. Attempting to casually chew her own tail she grimaced. Her body was already super delicate, including her tail.
"Ah. You know. The same thing." She grumbled, ashamed as always. There were not many times she was ashamed of her species, but she was with her biting. Her broken tail shifted, smiling at Munin.
At least he made her feel normal, the way he spoke to her and the way he made her day, he always reminded her she mattered.

Munin smiled and shook her head. Lots of things had been changing lately but it was glad to see there where still a few things that had remained the same. He noticed she was trying to chew her tail and shook his head almost wistfully.
“Well you know, my ears been really evil lately… I wouldn’t you know mind if you chewed on them for a little while to put them back in their place.” Munin stated with a teasing tone. It would help Antique so she didn’t have to chew on her tail.
Besides he didn’t really have a problem with the chewing, he just saw it as something that came about from the time they where born, He had problems with blood that she didn’t seem disgusted about so it wasn’t any fair to call her on needing to chew on something.

Glancing up at Munin, she playfully stuck her tongue out at him, tail flicking in response. "You probably deserved it!" She chimed back, though without even an attempt to say no she reached forward, nomming on his ears. That was how they were, Antique remembered. A give and take relationship. They had found a way as children to create a friendship that most desired, and they cherished.
Yet, this friendship sometimes shook Antique at her core.
"I'm waiting for the day my tail just falls right off." She mused lightly, releasing his ear briefly. "Of course, you'd be a dear and give me yours, right?" She resumed her job of chewing his ears, contently sighing as relief spread through her body. Stupid zombie tendencies.
