I've got it so bad right now. Those little side quests that are like "HAHAHA USE YOUR BOOMERANG WITH HEROIC PRECISION WHILE ON A HORSE" rub me the wrong way forever.

I tried to use my arrows while on Epona in LoZ:OoT and I always fail.
I need three hands just to control it. One to steer the horse, One to shoot the arrows and One to aim said arrows/horse.

One to steer the horse, One to shoot the arrows and One to aim said arrows/horse. That is the worst. In Twilight Princess you have to shoot arrows on Epona while using Hawk Eye to fight a mini boss on a bridge, it's terrible. rofl Trying to Z target a moving wagon with the boomerang really blows too though. :T I'm about to stoop to the level of a video walkthrough, surely that would show me where I'm going wrong on this.

I know! It's impossible for me. Yet my brother grabs the ds and does it perfectly on the first try. gonk It's always hilarious at my house when I get a new game because I will send my brother a text telling him to "Get up here, I'm dying!".

Hahaha, good ol brothers and their superior gaming abilities. You'd think alternative quest routes or something would exist for the people that can't acquire that level of coordination. Like, why can't I snipe all the crappy bomb dropping birds before going into the field on Epona? I tried, because they're the biggest obstacle with this task, but every time I hit them dead center they don't go down. I'm debating pawning off my game to my brother or game obsessed neighbor, because I officially give up on this wagon bs. D:< Maybe if I'm lucky my rage-y sudden console shutdown will load up my game from Hylia Lake or the Castle.

Right on! That's definitely how it's done. Gotta pull you share if you want cred.
I just found out Twlight Princess doesn't auto-save, my skin is saved! (I googled it, hahaha) I mean, I have to redo the annoying "collect 16 light tears" wolf!Link quest complete with Howling Stones, but I'll take that and time to work on my horseback heroics over an endless loop of failed wagon escorting. *shot* I probably sound pretty ridiculous right now.

Depends on what it is with me. rofl I love game rage.
There are things i'll try and if I screw up i'll just keep going until I get them... Rage isn't really a normality, but it has happened and I am like GHGHGHGHGHG trying to figure out what to do. It's those kinds of things I like most though. I really like getting stumped, and when I say that it's a love hate thing.
Try leading your target : D Put the reticle in a place you know it's going to eventually fall on your target and fire when you're dead center. The further you are away, the easier it will be to pick the target off! If not, adjust accordingly so you have a nice rhythm going on.
I feel late to this conversation. emotion_awesome My bad if you already did it :l it's helpful for further first person adventures though!
ADVENTURE FOR DAYYYYYS!

I'd be pawning games on my bro alllllllll the time if he weren't like half an hour away. I'm so jelly you two have such easy access to brothers. D:
But I finally cleared the wagon escorting thing, yeah! Turns out I just needed to ignore the wagon being on fire and pray to the z-target deities. Now I can go back to getting super lost in dungeons. (brofists all around)
@Brase: You're a better person than I with game rage. I just go through stages of rage....
1. Become reckless and indifferent while trying out various methods 1.5 Begin word vomiting absurd profanities and insults 2. Rage quit (often via console shutdown) regardless of unsaved progress 3. Avoid the game for a couple days and occasionally think of new solutions or consult various walkthroughs 4. Use knowledge gained by stage 3 to continue through the game (loop back to step 1 if failure continues) rofl

So did things go smoother after afterwards? I'm super bad about pulling up a guide whenever I reach a boss battle. It just makes everything go so smooth. D:

I try to never look up guides but only because I am the type of person who likes the challenge. I swear i'll sit there for a while trying to calculate what to do, unless the task is really boring and requires a guide just so I don't bore myself to death.
Than there are those games with really cool cinematic scenes that play out as you do quick time events and make it look like a legit movie, but the thing about those is that if you screw up... you die and the badass factor of said game at that moment in time goes down 90% and it's all your fault. rofl Than you need to deal with the game picking up halfway through an awesome cut scene just so you can hit the right buttons to get past it.
They mine as well just discipline you and be like NO. You don't even get to see it. emotion_donotwant Go look it up on youtube.

Hahaha oh man those "failed awesomeness" moments. First thing that comes to mind for me is the 2 player special combo attacks in Marvel Ultimate Alliance. rofl You can never get them right, ever.
Guides would be less used for Twiilight Proncess if failure didn't result in going back to 3 hearts or the entrance of the dungeon. It's just like... I've come too far to hose the last leg of the journey. emotion_donotwant
Also, Lakebed Temple. So many many levers, switches, floors, dead ends, and tunnels that I don't even. D: I was glued to a guide the whole time like a shameful Shelly.
