Imajica, my second, made me fall in love with the man. I haven't read everything of his, but I have completed a good bit of it. I figure that I would give
Abarat another try even though I felt disappointed reading the first few chapters when it originally came out. I kind of miss the detailed and length descriptions, but they're not so much to make it boring. Don't go saying that I only like lengthy works because I adored his children's book
