Some days having blue eyes is more like a curse than anything else. Blue eyes take in more sunlight than any other color leaving us blind in really bright areas...say outside on a white driveway. Both my parents have blue eyes and so do my siblings and I. On both sides of my large extended family we are the only ones with them. Everyone else has brown. I envy them.
Sunglasses are a requirement to drive during most days and some offices/classrooms are so bright, and white of course, we have to get a prescription to wear tinted glasses.
So to end my rant, my eyes may be pretty but danged if I can see outside today.
Any one else have a similar problem?

Brown eyes here, so not so much? I notice my eyes get more sensitive when I wear contacts. Having worked with sunglasses pretty intensively over the past two and a half years, make sure you're getting nice quality polarized lenses. They help prevent macular degeneration, you know. And make things look prettier =D Tinted glasses are pretty cool though, imho.

Ps. My dad wants me to mention his mom had blue eyes and that I fail for forgetting this.

sage says my eyes are gray green while looking deep in them
Normally they range from GREEN depending if i'm really 'determind' as sage would say to a mid blue
I got gold sparks in mine by the iris, so pending on mood depends how strong of a color... someone actually said it looked Orange one day and not gold
but i don't really have trouble with the whole sunlight thing unless i'm being anti social and i'm inside for a while/sick i love being outside with the horses n' worked at a stable for 2.5 years... on the 110* heat, no shade, yeah sun will bug me but i think the sun would bug a blind person on that type of day, lol

I have hazel eyes, which range in color from green to brown and maybe some yellowy-gold, sometimes. Mostly, it's just plain ol' hazel. My monovision: left eye normal, right eye sees everything blurry after almost a foot and a half away from my face. My eyes are sensitive to the sun and pretty much everything else. I have F.lux installed on my computer and I tend to keep the screen at a dim setting or I will be crying for a long time. If I am lying down while watching a movie, the lower eye has a tendency to be way more watery. Smoke and car exhaust can blind me quickly from the sensitivity. Not real blindness, but so much blinking and watering that it is impossible to see for a few minutes.
You know how someone will look emotional and they claim to have something in their eye? Chances are that I really did just start crying because of eye irritation. So many eye problems, but I find them to be a lot of fun. I could go on for a while with stories and be very entertained.
