 Psynomi licked her lips as she looked around. It was hot out--very hot with much humidity. The young mare lowered her head as she staggered around the forest's floor. She hadn't traveled this far from her little 'home' and forgot to take a drink from the stream that flowed close to her little thicket.
Psynomi kept ears swiveling and alert eyes for any sound and indication of water, but so far...there wasn't nothing. With a groan and heavy sigh she continued to stay alert and focused.

 Not far off the forest gave way into a medium sized patch of grass surrounded all round with foliage and tree's, this is where the slightly odd male stood. His jaw slowly rotating as he chewed on yet another mouthful of grass, this was a good spot. No other creatures to disturb him, shade, grass and a water hole hidden just to the west behind a seemingly thick collection of bushes and tree's. He was so content in his own little world he did not feel the faint vibration under hoof of someone or something approaching.

The young mare was too occupied thinking about water that she didn't even recognize that male that she was approaching until his scent was strong and she could see him the very, very near distance. Quickly stopping and pulling her head back as she looked at him. Honestly, Psynomi didn't think that she would come across any others this deep within the jungle so this was quite a surprise. "Um...hello?" she blinked as she took a step towards him. It would be rude not acknowledge is presence.

Chew.Chew. He heard the voice, but seemed to delay in acknowledging it, taking his own time and after about a minute he nonchalantly turned his entire body to face the other and gave her a good looking over. "Female. A good looking one too, you defiantly get a hello." Then his face lit up in a smirk but continued to chew in his slow methodical way.

She blinked a couple times as she tilted her head to the side. She wasn't sure what this stallion was going on about but assumed he had introduced himself--somewhat, even though she didn't catch his name. Psynomi also couldn't understand why he kept staring at her. Her eyebrows furrowed as she snorted and tossed her mane back. And what was he chewing on? With a soft exhale she shook her head and rolled her eyes. "Excuse me but could you help me out? I'm looking for.." she paused as she could hear some water lapping in the distance. Finally! "Oh. Heh, nevermind..." she awkwardly smiled before trying to politely shuffle off to wheres he heard the water. It was probably a good thing that she didn't need the help of this particular stallion because in a way, he was staring to creep her out.

"I'd excuse anything as good to look at as yo..." Just as he was finishing she moved off and he raised a brow, his tail swinging back and forth in thought, where was she going? Only one way to find out, without any hast whatsoever he followed her. It wasn't that he considered her rude, hell he didn't really have a care for what was rude or not he was just curious as to what made the pretty lady shift away from him before he'd even started.

Psynomi cocked an eyebrow as she looked over her shoulder to the stallion. Why was he following her? She quickly did a quick scan around her to see if anyone else was nearby. But nope. There was no one. Only herself and him. She flicked her tail as she looked ahead. The sound of the water was starting to get louder and the vegetation more abundant as she pushed vibrant green leaves out of her way. She had hoped that she would get lost within the vegetation but nope. There he was..right behind her. With a heavy sigh she stopped and turned to face him. "Is there something wrong? What? Is the jungle not big enough?" her tail flickering in agitation. She was hot and probably filthy. All Psynomi wanted was a drink of water. Not a stalk from a stranger.

As he continued to follow her he also seemed to have no sense of personal space, the trail they walked was one he'd used before, not his favoured as he'd discovered a short cut not too long ago. That was assuming she was going after water, which her dishevelled state and attitude indicated to him that she was, so he trotted up to her side with his smirk and looked back at her when she stopped. "Did I rub you the wrong way? If you give me a chance I could rub you the right way." He winked then looked back at the way they where headed. "Only that your going the long way." He shrugged and then carried on ahead, cutting a little to the left before coming out at the small clearing with a water hole big enough for perhaps 5-6 stars to bath in.

She staggered a bit from being completely astonished by what the stallion had said. It was shocking. Rude. Not at all polite. So why was she following him now? He obviously knew the way to some water and was rubbing it in her face now. She rolled her eyes and snorted softly as she followed him to a fairly large watering hole. Finally. Psynomi trotted out along side of him to the water's edge where she dipped her head down and took a drink. She closed her eyes as she drank up the refreshing water. After a brief moment she lifted her head and looked to the stallion. "Thank you," she smiled as she licked her lips savoring the taste of the water.

When she'd caught up and gone for a drink he'd watched her and thought about...never mind. Once she seemed to relax in more ways than one and spoke he found himself snorting."Don't thank me till later" He stretched then looked at the water then at the female almost in challenge before charging in and in front of her, sending splashes everywhere, definitely aiming the biggest wave of water at her.

She was completely and utterly astonished by this stallion. Rearing onto her hind legs as the water splashed all over her coat, which he had done on purpose as she could tell by his expression. She snorted and fell down onto all fours. The water indeed did feel good on her body but that was beside the point. The fact of the matter was that this stallion--whom she never met before had just splashed her! "You've yet to mention your name or ask mine but yet you...you splash me with water. Not very nice," Psynomi said with a flick of her tail. She snorted softly and tossed her wet mane back before backing away from the water's edge.

With a cocky air he raised his brow at her statement then snorted "You didn't ask me either, I don't think you like it nice really." His grin never faltered and as he finished speaking he mimicked her flicking tail himself apart from his landed down with medium force on the surface of the water and sent another shower of droplets flying again mostly in her direction. "Don't lie and say it doesn't feel nice, you like it." He chuckled and started trotting in a circle with the water half way up to his legs.

"Who do you think you are? You know nothing about me and certainly nothing about manners for the matter," she was completely stunned by what this stallion was saying to her. She shook her head as a couple droplets of water splashed on the end of her snout. "Never before have I met someone so rude and arrogant," she said with eyes fixed on the stallion. Her cheeks a little bit pink as she looked at him. Really. What drove this stallion to say the things he said and do the things he would do. She sighed deeply and shook her head before rolling her eyes at him. "You can stop trying to rub me the right way because it's not working. And you might want to work on your pick up lines," she said matter-of-factly before turning around. She flicked her tail at him before taking a step inwards back into the jungle.

You'd think her words would cut him deep or have much effect but instead of the usual embarrassment he simply shook his head and laughed "I'm Zafara and I call it being right." And that's how he honestly felt and as she continued her little ramble most of it flew right over his head. So when she moved away he just carried on merrily tramping around in the water enjoying himself. Just because she was a massive bore didn't have to put a damper on his day, alone or with female aka potential fun he was just about as content within himself.

She turned around then and trotted back up to the water's edge. "Right? You think you're right?" she asked him. Psynomi just couldn't believe it. This stallion...Oh how he irked her. Her eyebrows furrowed as she had a fixed gaze on Zafara. The nerve of him...the utter nerve! She snorted loudly and closed her eyes as she turned her head away from him. Though at least now she had a name..
