General Appearance: Leone is an awkward and gangly fellow with a soldier's stance and a weak neck. He has a bed of scruffy blond hair and big ears to match his blue eyes. Much of Leone's appearance is similar to his grandfather's, who he admires wholeheartedly. Though he tries to maintain a neat shave and look as orderly as possible, Leone is lazy in terms of exterior appearances and never irons his clothing and often forgets to shave until his chin is inevitably itchy.

History: In 1917, Leone Gallo narrowly escaped the Battle of Caporetto due to a moderate but impending limping problem caused by trench foot. Caporetto was a devastating loss for Italy that significantly altered their already diminishing control over Austrian territory, and the combined loss of almost half a million men resulted in a greatly fragmented many Italians' nationalistic morale.
