It was up for debate, why the Eternal Senshi of Danger would return to this place to think. Maybe it was because it used to be a place to retreat to relax, at first just to practice music with Lily. Then he had run into the dark senshi Navi, and everything sort of took a turn. He was not sure how to classify it, even now when he had calmed down and he could think back on it all.
They'd always had a strange, antagonistic, but heated relationship. From the get go there was something strange between them, but it was often how he founded his relationships. Tension, some sort of draw that made it so he couldn't stay away. He never had a normal friendship.
But this wasn't even that. How could he call her a friend?
It did not help that his new goal was to beat down any chaos he found, on behalf of any White Mooner that needed a little pay back. He just wanted to see the bad guys losing like they should be, beaten down like he saw so many of the senshi he cared about looking. Senshi he knew and was certain he was friends with, even if he never told them that. They were there for each other, they fought on the same side, and they cared about each other. Helped out when they needed it, whether one asked or not. He had never really known friendship and loyalty until he became a senshi, and it meant more to him than he could ever put into words.
And yet here he was, going against everything he felt like he should be, coming back to the place where he first met his exotic dark senshi to see if, maybe less unconsciously than he pretended, she was there. She wasn't. He looked around the music room of the familiar community center and saw nothing and no one. He felt no auras. He did, however, see a note.
"If you think of me as much as I do you, then do something about it instead of running away again. I frequent the park and the streets surrounding it, come find me."
That was all he needed. He moved from the room quickly, without thought, and set out in a familiar direction.
It should have troubled him, just walking out of that place without even pausing for thought. Should this be a more difficult decision than it seemed to be? He was going to find her, whether he wanted to agree to what she wrote in the note or not. He was not sure if he thought of her more than he did anything else. He did not know how much she thought about him. Usually, his ego would blossom at the idea of it, but now there was nothing in his chest but... anxiety?
Navi made him feel far too much. She made him experience things he had actively sought to avoid in his day to day. She made him care about things he was not supposed to care about, and question himself in ways a man as confident as he was should never have to question himself. He blamed her for everything that vexed him.
Yet he was going to go find her, anyway.
