The Story Our story revolves around Suzaku High, one of the top four elite schools around. Suzaku High was famous for it's outstanding achievements in the basketball arena. The boys; Akai Phoenix (AP) and the girls; Red Suzaku (RS) had been winning tournaments for generations. This made the teams famous and the members well respected. However, over the years, the Red Suzaku was decreasing in terms of performance. The reason was the members of a generation started joining the team for the sole purpose of receiving first class treatment and flirting with members of the opposite teams. All this made the Red Suzaku faced it's downfall. Amidst everything, the Akai Phoenix continued to reign supreme-not to mention getting too full of themselves.
All of this was about to change. A new transfer student arrived. She was determined to make the legendary Red Suzaku rise to it's glory once more-one step at a time. Of course, the members of the Akai Phoenix would not let that happen. Who would want to share undevided attention from the school? Losing to a girl? Unacceptable. The battle between boys and girls had begun! Who would be crowned champion? In a battle of sexes, there would always be temptations. Question is, will they succumb to the temptations or make it work?

Akai Phoenix
The Captain: {open}
Captain of AP. He is pretty much a sadist and bossy. However, he is the ace in the team and his skills are unquestionable.
The Advisor: {Verutes}
The second in command in AP. Best friends with the Captain. He is calm and composed. No one really knows what he's planning.
The Prince: {open}
He is the most famous around girls. He is a narcissist and a playboy but when it comes to shooting hoops, he's not to be taken lightly.
The Child: {open}
His personality is childish and he acts cute, making people adore him. Underneath... Well, lets just say never judge a book by it's cover.
The Angel: {hyper_nine_tailed_fox}
He is the kindest among the five members of AP. He is also the only one the whole member (unconsciously) listens to at times.
Red Suzaku
The Newbie: {Me}
The new kid in school. She aspires to bring RS back to it's former glory. She looks naive and innocent but in truth...?
The Chief: {open}
The captain of RS. She was beginning to lose hope in resurrecting RS until the newbie comes around. The Lion Chief is back!
The Fan: {open}
The 'diva' type of girl. She joined the team for the sole purpose of making the opposite teams fall for her. Still, there are more to her that we don't know.
The Timid: {Timorous Heart}
She really likes baskeball but she has no confident in her own strength. A shy and passive girl. In truth, she is actually talented.
The BFF: {open}
She is the newbie's childhood friend and BFF. She joined just to help her BFF. Has no interet in basketball until now. She is the opposite of the newbie.

The Story So Far...

Chapter One:
A New Breeze
It was the start of the new semester. Everything seemed to be normal for the whole school including the achievements of the basketball club. A new year means a new chance at the season games. The Akai Phoenix were definitely in high spirits but the Red Suzaku? As dawn approaches on the first day of school, a new breeze different than usual stroke. A new student arrived. How will both of them react to this fresh new face?

Cause, you know, love should be free, right?Alia yawned as she packed her bag for the new school day. It was a new semester too... time really did fly by when one wasn't watching. The quiet girl smiled a little at her folded basketball uniform, looking forward to playing with the rest of the team again. Even if she didn't have any say and they weren't exactly the number one team anymore... it was still nice to not have to play by herself. Once her bag was all packed up she went through her checklist of supplies a good three times, as she always did. Nodding to herself she slipped on her backpack and left the small apartment she lived in.
Her head was slightly tilted down. Her eyes on the floor in front of her as she walked to school. Every now and then she'd glance up, making sure she wouldn't be in anyone's way or end up missing where she was supposed to cross the street. It was an odd sight, seeing her hurry across the streets while others were taking their time. It was just another busy Monday. She sighed as she neared the school, preparing herself for the usual. A few students were standing around near the entrance, telling her what they always did. "It's your fault the team sucks, why did you even join?" or "Why do they let a bookworm like you even play sports?" And of course the list went on with other insults and harsh names such as "puny" or "weakling". The girl just shook her head at them, those students didn't even watch the games. They just liked to see her head look more towards the ground.
Before long, Alia was in the quiet safety of the gym, picking up one of the basketballs that had been all freshly prepared for the teams. Putting her bag down at the stands she started to practice. Simply bouncing the ball and walking before taking shots at the basket. These hours of the morning were always nice and quiet once she was in the gym. Only other basketball players came in here, and most of the time she would be on her own for at least a few minutes. Just a few shots before class, that was all she needed to get through the day. Then she'd leave and take care of her studies so the boys could practice... Here I am: in the gym
What am I up to?: practicing a little
I feel: ashamed as always but I'm okay
I think...: I might have this place to myself for a while.

 Michael woke up slowly to his alarm clock going off. He looked the clock then he turned off the alarm and stood up to get dressed. Once he finished he looked back at the clock to see the time. It showed that he was about to be late so he quickly grabbed his backpack and rushed out the door so that he wouldn't be late for the first day. He ran to the school thinking he was late when really his clock was set wrong. Once at the school he ran inside and saw what time it really was on a wall clock. He sighed as he realized he wasn't actually late but a bit too early. "Well that's perfect" He said a bit aggravated with himself. He then went to the gym to practice a bit of his shooting. But after a while he was a bit tired, thirsty, and need to use the restroom. So he set his ball back on the rack with the rest and walked out of the gym to the restroom first then he walked to the water fountain nearby to get a drink. Once he caught his breath and got some water he walked back into the gym to see a girl practicing by herself as well. He walked over to her as he watched the shots she took. "Your not bad. Are you on the girls Basketball team?" He asked with a small smile at her.

 Caius woke up early staring at his ceiling for a moment before finally sitting up in his bed. Looking over at the clock he saw that he still had time to spare before he had to live since the school was close to his apartment. Getting up and going through his usual morning routine he left after making himself a small breakfast. It only took him about 5 minutes to reach the school where he could already see a large group of people greeting each other in front of the building. As he walked through the crowd many people tried to stop him so they could talk with him being one of the schools top players, but he just ignored their calls hurrying to make his way inside. Once he had made it inside he took a look at his watch as he saw there was still time before classes would start. Making his way over to the gym to waste time before class he saw Michael along with a girl he didn't recognize. With a rather blank expression he walked over, "Hey Mike who's your friend."

...I believe and believing can lead to chances..." It was early in the morning. The sun barely showed itself. The kitchen was still quiet, no smell of fresh toast and coffee like the day before. She sneakily walked out of her bedroom and went down the stairs, straight to the kitchen. Putting an apron on, she cooked up some srambled eggs and waffles, the coffee machine already running. After plating them, she proceeded on placing a note on the table. She grabbed her schoolbag and a small bag with her sports attire. After she was outside the house, she pressed the bell, waking up the other residents in the house. With a small grin, she happily walked towards her new school.
The streets were much different than they were back when she was little. Wider and more houses were built. Some cherry blossoms planted along the road, giving the 'spring' feeling to its fullest. She took a glimpse at her watch. Her brothers and sister-in-law should be having breakfast now. She had wanted to go to school by herself. She was fully aware that if she were to have breakfast with them, she would end up being one of the few students driven to school by their guardians. She was starting high school for crying out loud. Tsuki reached Suzaku High a few minutes later. She was amazed by how many students were already there despite being only around six fifty-five o' clock in the morning. A good thing too. Today, for the first time, she was wearing the female students' uniforms.
Back then, she had to cross-dress in order to pursue her passion in the basketball arena. Her previous middle school did not own a girls' team therefore she had no choice but to disguise herself as a boy. This year, she would join the Suzaku High female basketball team, the legendary Red Suzaku. Tsuki paused in front of the main building. It was still early. Homeroom would start at eight. She changed her course to the gym instead. A huge, magnificent gymnasium stood proudly on the west side of the school. Here was the place for the famous Akai Phoenix ad Red Suzaku. Tsuki had known about the downfall of Red Suzaku still, that did not mean they do not stood a chance to rise again. She believed so. When she opened he door, a girl and two boys were already in there.
"Hello,there! Is there any room for one more to give a shot at the hoops?" She asked, cheerfully. Rumour said that the boys of Akai Phoenix were stuck ups but that was only a rumour and would stay that way, right? My watch says it's: Around 6:55-7:05

Freezing up she dropped the ball by mistake, causing it to roll off away from her. Taking in a deep breath she chased after the object, picking it up without a word. Her eyes stayed on the orange sphere as she walked back to the boy, glancing up for a moment to see who the second pair of feet belonged to. "I... am on the team... I'm trying to get better..." She bowed her head to them both. "I'll let you practice now Michael, Caius..." She said as she offered them the ball. Her voice was likely much too quiet and she only retreated more into her shell when another girl announced herself."U-um..." Well now she wasn't sure what to do. If she left like she wanted to, this other girl wouldn't be able to play. Whoever she was. Closing her eyes tight she spoke up again."We could all play a quick two on two game? It's okay if you'd rather not, I just thought that we we could all play. I'm sorry." Alia suggested, her face bright pink as she still held out the ball for the boys. They could take the item from her if they wanted and reject the idea ll together. So long as they didn't just stare at her in silence, then she could handle it. Her eyes stayed closed as she waited for someone to start laughing at her or say that she "would only hurt herself". Either was fine, she could understand why people would do that but so long as they spoke that was okay. Here I am: in the gym
What am I up to?: offering a 2 on 2 match
I feel: nervous!
I think...: it's an okay idea, isn't it? I hope they just get their reactions over with.

Michael looked over at Caius as he walked into the gym and asked who the girl was. "I don't know yet" He replied to Caius then when the girl tried to offer them the ball he shook his head. "No keep it we can all practice at the same time you know" He said then when he went to get another ball he saw another girl come into the gym as well. "Well if this keeps going this gym will be full in no time at all" He joked then smiled at the new girl. "Sure just grab a ball" He replied to her then he heard the blue haired girl start to talk. "What is it?" He asked her before he heard her question. "Oh sure sounds good to me" He then looked at Caius then the new girl "What about you two?" He asked as he put the ball back.
