Or is collecting all the journals I find a thing? I always seem to find myself doing it as if collecting dead guys' journals is a natural thing. My book cases are full of all the journals I've found throughout my play-through.

I hoard all sorts of stuff... It's probably a hold-over from the dragon blood... Of course I always hoard stuff in a Scrolls game...

lol Don't worry man, your not the only one who hordes things. I collect books (all kinds and letters), gems, magic items, armor, clothes, etc. The only thing that I don't horde are the random items that don't have a value or a real purpose. Like cloth, buckets, s**t like that.
I even take it a step into the OCD level and organize all my horded items by what they are. All books together, journals together, letters, etc.

This. I have an armor chest, a weapons chest, a clothes closet, a book box, a magguffin nook, etc, etc, etc...

"Wait. I thought collecting anything and everything was pretty much the norm. I have been decieved! But yeah, half the fun in a game like this is finding all the unique items, journals being one subset of them. Well, not so unique if the dungeon resets and the journals are there again(happened to me and I ended up with two sets of the same journal... I think it was from a dwemer ruin). I mean, how many of you kept Mother's Head in Oblivion?"

I like to collect everything. Even the nonsense items, at least one of every item I've come across. You would think Breezehome is full to bursting by now.

No, I do that too! A lot of the journals are pretty funny, and some very ironic.

Yes, I did that too. I started out wanting to collect one copy of every book in the game, but I got overwhelmed and started just keeping the unique ones.
