An additional total cost of 360,000 gold will also be needed. This figure does not include the crafting costs of additional components listed above. More will be needed in the event of failures.

I am not without reward for my dear Disciples who aid me in this, my most dire quest. For each trade that I receive with items that are on this list (or tickets, inks, bugs, or other such things that will allow me to make said items on the list) worth 100,000 gold or more, that Disciple will receive (for considerations of the list) a bonus of +1 (per appropriate trade) to their post count.
This is not to allow Disciples to buy ranks. That's why their is such low payout. It does still allow me to show some appreciation to those most devoted to me and my cause. In cases where I feel there is disproportionate or artificial inflation, this may be accounted for in awarding the bonus. With the closure of this quest, the bonus will end. There will be no bonus awarded for items already crossed off. The items must be of 100K or more. 200K trades will be granted a +2 bonuses, so on and so forth but two trades of 150K will each grant a +1... I have enough to keep track of, as it is.
Trades of items worth under 100K will, of course, be deeply appreciated, as well. Every little bit is of great help to me. They simply don't come with a bonus in the guild.
I will be posting lists with your donations, here, as I cross them off. I welcome you to display your intended purchases here, so that I don't wind up with duplicates.
I desperately hope that I can inspire your generosity... I can't do this alone.

I just did some math.
I need 22,274,492 gold. I arrived at this figure by taking the lowest buy-now price of each cache and multiplying that by the number of those I needed. Given that I won't buy each cache at the lowest price, in all likelihood, this figure is actually low.
If Jess is the only one helping and she takes no days off, it will take 74 days... I need your help, everyone.
I think that I can get this done before November 6th... If you help.
I will update my projections, periodically, depending on what sort of help others grant.

I did some more math.
Factoring Summer's decided daily average contributions (not related to sold items) and well as Jess', I've now added it up to 400K that I can expect daily.
I am looking to earn a grand total of 16,127,000 gold, which is a vast improvement from last time. Dividing the two, I can reasonably expect to have the wings now by October 21st. Will the rest of you help me bring that date closer?
EDIT: As of October 2nd...
I have decided that I shouldn't expect a massive drop in the prices of the caches and to accept that they simply are what they are and what they will remain for the foreseeable future and readjust my expectations with the current prices.
Also, due to the high number of donations that wound up totaling to a daily 200K (and my desire to overshoot in my projections, rather than overshoot) I have decided to change the daily average from 400K to 200K. The following data has been recalculated with this in mind.
Even using the lowest buy-now prices as the basis, I calculate that the total cost will be 9,868,664 for all that I need. The lowest buy-price for gold is realistic, as I need only four and I purchase only one at a time, typically. It is less so for the cheaper ruby and topaz, of which far more are needed.
Given the projected income, another 49.343... days. In other words, 50 days, which is November 20th... An entire month later. I certainly hope that some unexpected fortune finds me. My hopes of having this by Halloween are indeed very slim.

EDIT: As of October 19th...
Well... That's it, then. With the event, my fate is sealed. With the event going on, and an achievement and an item still to get (with no progress made towards the ToT items, yet), Pokemon still unbeaten, my primary (and for sometime now sole) earner will only be earning 100,000 gold/day in the immediate future. I tallied up the total to find that I presently still need a little over 7 million in gold. At the present rate of progress, that will be 70 days.
Of course I will not have this by Halloween. I won't have it by Thanksgiving. If there's a big change, I might, might have it by 2013, but that looks pretty doubtful.
EDIT: As of October 30th...
I meant to update this a bit sooner, but recently Jess collected the final alchemy items for an item for myself to craft and her to sell for profit. With it sold, all of the remaining Diamond caches were purchased and now less than 4 M remains. Still not something that I'll be getting by Halloween, but certainly attainable before 2013, particularly if I get a bit more help...
EDIT: As of November 7th...
After receiving a very sizable donation from our very own elyzia, (as well as the continued efforts of my other faithful donators) I am finally close. Very close.
It has now become a game of patience. The Topaz cache is rather inflated. I am going to wait, but still buy no less than one each day, so that I am still moving forward. At the current pace, I will take two weeks. So long as my donators do not falter in getting me 100 K each day, I will have enough both for the caches and for the crafting fees. Assuming I don't fail any of the craftings, I will need no more.
As I am more likely to fail, with each subsequent crafting, giving the height of the levels, I will need more donations. Also, if those around me give generously enough, I may be able to power through and the caches that I need in less time than two weeks... That's up to all of you, now.
I am pleased to announce that this might just be your last chance to help me, before my quest for the final wings. It should all be over soon...
