Now this is something I noticed with Semi-Literate Role-players; Capitalization. This forum is open to Literate Role-players who can share tips on capitalization with semi-literate role-players. Role-players are free to enter this topic and share tips on Capitalization.

Let's begin the lesson, shall we?

Lesson I: Capitalizing names and introductions.

Name With Introduction (Wrong): "hello my name is silvia vajra lillian its very nice to meet you!"
You must add upper-case letters where they need to be, and add some commas and periods in places where they need to be.
Name With Introduction (Right): "Hello, my name is Silvia Vajra Lillian. It's very nice to meet you!"

Lesson II: Capitalization for People or Places.

Names from a person, place, or thing must be sometimes capitalized. The only two important things that need capitalization are the names of people and places.

big ben (Wrong!)

Big Ben (Right!)

Even cities and towns inside other countries or states need to be capitalized. Shop names included.

Letter with country, city, and shop name (Wrong): "hey there zachary i'm in a clothing shop called papaya in a town called frisco in texas hope you can stop by and join me in shopping! by the way, i sent you this picture of me wearing a cool flower headband made in taiwan. does it make my head look fat?"

You are speaking to a person through a phone in a place, wearing an object, or thing in this case. The name of the object of which it was made in must be capitalized, as well as the names, and the beginning of the sentence must be capitalized too. You also need to add commas, periods and colons where they need to go. The place of which the character is in needs to be capitalized as well. Following these steps will help you reach up from noob grammar, from semi-literate, to literate in no time.

Letter with country, city, and shop name (Right): "Hey there, Zachary. I'm in a clothing shop called Papaya in a town called Frisco, in Texas. Hope you can stop by and join me in shopping! By the way, I sent you this picture of me wearing a cool flower headband made in Taiwan. Does it make my head look fat?"

Lesson III: Descriptions.

When your character is in a place and you are describing how the place looks, you must use a good choice of words to correctly describe its awesomeness.

Description on Mount Rushmore (Wrong): "When I went to Mount Rushmore, it was big and cool looking with four faces of famous presidents in them. It was so cool I was practically happy and jumpy."
See how boring that was to read? Thankfully, I made it short. You need to describe on HOW the presidents' faces were on the mountain. Were they carved? Painted? In this case, they were carved, so you would want to place that word in. Also, there are more words other than happy, cool, big, and jumpy. Like so....
Description on Mount Rushmore (Right): "When I went to Mount Rushmore, it was humongous and amazing to look at. With the four faces from four famous presidents carved right into the face of the mountain, it was so incredible. So incredible, I practically squealed and leaped for joy from sheer happiness."
See how much better the description sounds? Sometimes, in order to describe something, you must sometimes revise and edit the entire thing in order to make the description sound well-done.
