⋆ History :: Trace remembered the day clearly. The day his brother got reaped for the Games. He remembered being terrified and clinging on to Randal as he walked away. Away from their grasp. He remembered seeing Randall almost die in the Arena, coming close to the end for his life. Trace remembered being only 11, not even a teenager yet, and crying alone in his room, fearing for the next day. He remembered being poked by his older brothers for being weak, but breaking down nonetheless. And he remembered Randall coming home.

When Randall came back to District 7, Trace was overjoyed. His brother was a Victor now! But that could mean less compared to the fact that he was alive and in the flesh. It was all Trace could hope for! The Woodfield and Penhallow family grew close, but he was still afraid. Not araid for Randall's life anymore, however. He was afraid for his third older brother, Caleb's, life.Now that Rabdall was a Victor, it was only time before the Capitol rigged the reaping and put a Victor's brother in the Games. And Trace was very determined to save his brother's life, even if it mean sacrifing his own.
