I NEED TO BORROW ALL YOUR COLLECTIVE CLEVERNESS~

Dova dislikes Halloween, so if there is going to be an event of any sort, it is up to me. I am not creative with event ideas in WT, for some reason. I was going to do Great Pumpkin letters again and I had a vague idea of giving him a girlfriend that people could write to as well for breedings.... and for the month of October, breeding ratios involving halloweenies would be reversed. EX I think it is usually 75% normal/25% halloweenie, so for October only, I'd reverse that

and I'd call her like... Jacquie Lantern

...I am grasping at straws here darlings, help a girl out?

the breeding idea is to a) give me another option and b) get more colorists involved who aren't comfortable with customs
or rather interpreting semi customs
I would even be willing to have it be a mix-n-match breeding situation if people wanted to toss in single halloweenies and let 'Jacquie' play matchmaker?

think mostly halloweenies, though I can probably get permission to do semi-commons, maybe one rare, with an evil bent... evil rams more likely, evil dragons/bunnies less likely, maybe an evil. Probably not a panda or evil hybrid. I can harass Raja, if I ever see her, for permission to do an evil kitsune just to keep things interesting

While I'm still prone to random outbursts of sobbing that my last Great Pumpkin letter went unanswered -- kidding! -- I do like the idea of Great Pumpkin letters again. And a girlfriend named Jacquie Lantern is right up my alley of pun-loving!

Personally I'd be more inclined to enter Great Pumpkin letters and throw my Halloweenies into breedings whether it be normal "throw in a couple" or a mix'n'match. (Maybe the title could have something to do with a Pumpkin Patch or Bobbing for Flings?)

Outside of that, for other ideas outside of letters/breedings, I did like the S*C Kick the Machine game. I'd really rather avoid anything to do with poems though. :P

I am bad at the letters, but they are still fun to think up and to read what others say, so I think they should still be here.

Also the Jacquie Lantern idea is good, I agree with ane about puns being a good things. And I also like breedings, and mix and match breedings could be interesting. Maybe give it a trick or treat conceit??? It could potentially go both ways, where treats are chosen pairs that make sense and give out good babies, and tricks are just crazy nonsense pairs with crazy babies or you could have it be where some of the litters are tricks where the babies will look different than what they will be as adults. But I don't know, both ideas are pretty silly.

And for the kick the machine thing ane brought up, you could make that more halloween-y by making it a bob for apples, where it works the same but it is set up like you are rolling to try and get apples, and if you hit the right number you got an apple- which translates to a wish. If not all you get is a face full of water and a lot of people laughing at you.
