Rolling to see who will go first 1 Nysa, Neptune 2 Nakhti, Uranus Feel free to rp as usual randomizing betweeen 1 and 3 for each post, or to pre roll the results and go back and fill the posts in after the fact.Rolling reference for ease* For every post in a battle thread make sure you randomize between 1 and 3. The number you get will determine what happened during that turn. 1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time! 2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post. 3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post. * Keep track of your HP on the top of each post you make please! When someone reaches zero the battle is over. (You can post once or twice more if you'd really like the two to wish each other well or what not) If the dice decide to be jerks and the battle just keeps going on and on and on I may step in and ask for you guys to roll dice for some outside event to help out. Hopefully it won't be necessary

HP: 5/5Considering the relationships between the Princesses of Neptune and Uranus, the finals seemed to be an interesting turn of events. A Page of Uranus and a Squire of Neptune facing off, defending the names of their Princesses. It would seem that the Page of Uranus would have an advantage, but the Squire of Neptune had managed to hold his own throughout the matches. The teal haired man slid his mask over his face. " ...it is time..." Though the moment should have induced some sort of anxiety from the man, the Squire felt no pre-fight jitters. He got into the starting position, holding out his borrowed foil towards his final opponent. Win or lose, Nysa was proud to be here. "Let us honor our Princesses." The signal was given and the match started. To test his opponent, he went for a direct thrust.

Nakhti Hp: 4 The dark haired page was still surprised that he had made it this far. Sure, he had been practicing, but he had fully expected to lose to people far more experienced than him. Not that he was complaining. He bowed to his opounent, and then took his position. Nakhti took a deep breath. He could do this. It was just another match. "Let us make them proud." His opponent struck first, faster than Nakhti had been expecting. He was unable to dodge out of the way, and Nysa's blade struck true. His turn. He lunged, aiming a little towards the left, having noticed an opening. It hit, and the teen grinned behind his mask. Point to him.

HP: 3/5Nysa's hit had been sloppy. Perhaps he was being overly critical, since many would have thought that a hit was a hit. However, the Squire wasn't here to win, which might have been working against him at this point. The Page seemed to have excellent reflexes and speed, which was suitable for one who served the Princess of Uranus. He had managed to find an opening and attack it quickly. The official called it as a point in favor of Uranus. Rather than allow such a fact to taunt him, he lashed out, aiming for a feint. However, before he could pull off such a tactic, the sound of metal hitting metal hit his ears. Ah... a successful parry, Page...

Nakhti Hp: 4 The teen wasn't letting his guard down for an instant in this duel, knowing just what was at stake. He didn't really care about winning, but he did want to do his best, and he parried the squire's blade, keeping it from striking. Not bad. He certainly could appreciate how well his opponent was doing. He lunged, also attempting a feint, though his was more successful than Nysa's had been.

The sound of metal parting from metal reached his ears, and the lad was already thrusting his weapon in for an attack. The man saw his own chance to parry, however, when he went to make the motion, the path of the other weapon shifted...

Another point for Uranus.
Once more, he straightened up and got ready. The Page surely had him beat when it came to speed and reflexes.
Let us try another feint...
Once more, the Squire attempted a false path to get the other's guard down, but once more the sound of metal clinking met his ear.

Nakhti Hp: 4 He was going to have to thank Kailash. He merely smiled at that thought, keeping his full concentration on the squire. He was attempting to be tricky, but Nakhti saw Nysa's sword twitch and was able to move his to counter. Hmm. The teen made a pretense of feinting, but then just simply lunged forward, his blade striking. Not bad. Not bad. But this wasn't over yet.

HP: 1/5The match wasn't over yet, but it did seem to be drawing to a close. Two attempted feints blocked and each returned with a retaliating hit. The points were easily adding up for the Page of Uranus. Behind his mask, there was a smile that formed. A worthy opponent for a final match. I am glad I had the pleasure of participating. Anna will be so glad to hear about this when I visit next.Since the less direct attacks seemed to not do him any good, after setting up again, the man once more resumed the tactic of directly attacking.

Nakhti Hp: 3 He had been fully expecting the Squire to attempt another feint, and so when he attacked head on, his sword wasn't in position to block, and the hit struck. That had been smart. Still, he wasn't giving up yet, and he feinted once more, the attack succeeding. Yes! Nysa hadn't been able to block it.

The match was over, and the victory went to the Page and Princess of Uranus. Humbly he backed up a few steps before removing his mask. Tucking it under his arm, he quickly adjusted his monocle before stepping forward and offering a hand for a sporting handshake. "I thank you for an excellent match, young Page."

He had won? Yes! The boy resisted doing a victory dance, as much as he would have liked too, knowing that that wouldn't be very respectful to his opponent. Later though, later, it would be victory dance time. He removed his mask, revealing a wide grin, and then he took the Squire's hand, shaking it. "The pleasure was all mine." Nysa had given him a good match, one of the best ones that he had had in a while, and he was glad that the Squire would receive the Silver. He deserved it.
