Here is where the majority of older information is interred. The Hachibantai often puts new members in charge of keeping the shelves clean and filing away reports to keep them busy. In a reinforced room, behind a reinforced door, is kept the most sensitive information. Access to that room can only be obtained by permission of the captain herself.

??? The reinforced door was open, and the library was filled with corpses. A few showed signs of death from the poison, but most had clearly been killed directly. Inside the once-secure room, a nondescript shinigami man whistled a cheerful tune as he emptied shelf after shelf into a garganta in the floor. Pausing in his work, he checked his watch. "Whelp, looks like I'd better hurry. Things are gonna get hectic now." He resumed his work, while in the background, explosions could be heard.

Shadow of the Wind   In times of war and strife...
Those with power are called to use it. Rei had gone to the only place that had not been blown up yet, only to find some strange man there. He drew his sword as silently as possible, trying to get close before he was detected. "So... all of this.. .the poisoning and the explosions... all diversions, were they? Rise, Shingotsu!" Rei's sword burst to life like a Hurricane and he swung at the man as hard as he could. Whoever it was, Rei knew he would likely be out matched, but he couldn't just let the man make off with such important data.
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?
What do we do, when the world makes us demons? (Bleh... short post is short.)

??? Upon seeing the shikai wielding lieutenant charging at him the man emitted a shriek and crouched down covering his head. The shrieking subsided after a couple moments to a chorus of "IdonwannadieIdonwannadieIdonwannadieIdonwannadie..."

Those with power are called to use it. As the man dropped to his knees, Rei took on a look of utter shock. His swing went well over the man's head, and Rei about tripped over him. He managed to recover though, and made to deliver a kick to the man's gut. It wasn't a strong one... but it would be enough to force him back a couple of feet from the bookshelves. Rei settled on his feet somewhere between the man and the bookshelf with the Garganta on the floor in front of it. "I ummmm... well... what the hell?! I know you're the one responsible for all this chaos! So umm... why the hell..."
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?

??? The man landed with a thump and sprung to his knees. "Pleaaaaase don't kill me! I didn't do anything! It was that crazy chick with the sword! She came in here and started killing everybody and I hid and she found me an told me to put all the books through there and I did it cuz I don't wanna diiiieieeeeeee!" The man was crying, his nose was running, and he had clearly just wet himself.

Those with power are called to use it. Looking at the state the man had been put to, Rei just lowered his sword hand down a little, not moving from his spot, and scratched the side of his head with his left hand. "So... so umm... who are you then?" He didn't take his sights off the man for even a second. He just felt that the man was lying... but at the same time... you have to be devoted to your ruse in order to piss yourself in front of another person.

Usotsuki Masuku The man seemed to calm down a little. "M-my name is Usotsuki Masuku. I'm just a f-filing clerk, 'cuz I'm no good at ff-fighting. I-I-AAh!" He curled back up into a ball of scared at the sound of someone approaching from the door. "It's her! It must be her! I dun wanna die Mommyyyyy!"

Those with power are called to use it. "Usotsuki Masuku? What a mouthful... and Filing clerk, eh?" When the man mentioned that someone was coming, Rei turned his attention to the door. "I can't feel anyone coming... they're not even making any disturbance in the air flow..." His attention was still on the man... but he could hear someone's foot steps approaching , and it concerned him that he couldn't feel them coming; so his attention was somewhat parted from the man...

Usotsuki Masuku? The slow footsteps got louder as the man entered the room. It's not a surprise that Rei could not sense the person coming around the corner, for he seemed three hairs away from death; hardly a state to emit a spiritual presence. He was wounded, covered in blood from head to toe. He coughed a couple times as he leaned on the doorway before saying weakly, "Is anybody there? I can't see through this..." The voice is strangely familiar as he wipes his face of the blood and looks up again. The man was Usotsuki's double. Were it not for the wounds, they could have been mirror reflections of one another. At the same time as he looked up, a metal pole, one end twisted to a point from where it had diverged from the rest, drove itself through Rei Seshiro's calf and through his foot, nailing his leg to the floor until it's removed and impairing any use of flash step till healed. " Sloppy. This one should know better." That voice came from behind Rei, and floated into view, hovering above the garganta. It was Usotsuki, and at the same time not. The first thing noticable was the legs, which dangled like tubes filled with gelatin from a waist that hung from the chest like a sack filled with rocks. The arms were distended and flattened, showing strips of flesh and fragments of bone peppered with patches of torn skin. His face looked like a vase someone had broken, then glued back together, and it did not change as he talked. Only his chest remained the same. One arm lashed out to the man in the doorway, wrapping around his head like a cloth and snapping his neck. At the same time, the other curled up under its 'stomach' as it lowered its head toward Rei in an almost bow. It said " This one greets the Rei of Seshiro that wields the lady of the moon, and hopes that he will convey this one's regards to the one whom rules this place. Tell her I have blinded her thousand eyes, and to enjoy her scrabble in this new darkness. This one bids leave of you now." The horror slipped through the garganta, which closed immediately after it. Less than a minute later, Fires burst out from the shelves as the archives became subject to the same explosives as the rest of the squad. ((this auto-hit has been OK'd by Rei. As an added bonus: Usotsuki Masuku, or Uso Tsuki no Masuku, means "Liar's Mask"))

Those with power are called to use it. Rei felt nothing from the man behind him before the steel shaft was driven through his leg. Not only did it go all the way through his calf and foot, but it shattered several of the bones in his foot and leg. His eyes darted backwards just in time to see the fake envelope the real man he had copied. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! ********!!! God damnit..." Suddenly, and without warning, Rei twisted with his left hand, grabbing the pole and ripping it from his leg, throwing it to the floor.
He whipped around to try and strike at the monster, but his leg refused to listen. The tendon? Damnit! If I could just turn around!! And then the demon gave him a message to relay, and told him that because of it, he would spare his life this day. Rei spat into it's face as it vanished, or at least tried to, but it vanished too quickly. It took him some effort, but after a minute, he managed to stand with the help of a nearby book shelf and started pulling himself to the door. But when he got about halfway there, the bookshelves started burning suddenly and fiercely, forcing him away from the shelves where he promptly fell to the floor. "DAMN IT!!! How could I be so careless?!?! Shingotsu, come out now!" And without delay, his blade ceased to churn with wind, and the spirit manifested herself once more, already leaning down and trying to help her master up. "Rei, you idiot! How many times do I have to tell you to be careful? Fool..." As she started lifting him up, Rei noticed a tear in her eyes and smiled morosely. "Sorry... Now come on... let's not die in here..." And they started to get towards the exit, but suddenly the doorway fell in before them. On fire. And there was only the one door.
"GIMME A ******** BREAK!!!!"

Some people say you don't want to play with fire, because of how deadly it can be.
But when I play with it, it turns blue, so if you dare touch my love one's . .

I shall burn you alive with it, no one shall mess with the ones I care for the most . .
Jasmine was cover within blue fire protecting her from the fire that was around them and Hiragana was right beside her still in his big tiger shark forum, breaking some of the halls as he goes along. Hiragana, we got to find them I can tell Rei is hurt right now." She said.
"They can't be too far away, I'm sure were find them in time." Hiragana said, as the both of them kept moving through the place fast, because Jasmine knew if she doesn't find Rei soon the place could fall on him along with Shingotsu.
It was good awhile after running through the place when Jasmine and Hiragana heard Rei and Shingotsu talking 'bout something, she stop and listen and hear the voice coming behind a door Jasmine run right into where a door use to be. "Rei! Shingotsu! You in there?" Jasmine yelled as she step back as the door was slowly catching on fire. As she heard them both.
"Jasmine! Were in here! Hurry Rei is hurt!" Shingotsu yelled. Once she did Jasmine heart skipped as.
"Move away from the door way, I'm coming in right now!" Jasmine said, and once she did, Shingotsu moved Rei away from the door way. Jasmine move her hand right infront of the door. "Sōren Sōkatsui!" Jasmine yelled, as two shots of blue fire busted through the door that way as it throw across the room. Once it was clear Jasmine run right into the room as Hiragana break the door way as he move in there and not a moment too soon Hiragana put up a shied over them protecting them whatever is going to fall on them. As Jasmine saw Rei she run right over to him and got to her knee's and saw that he was hurt. "Hon, you okay? Who did this?" Jasmine said, as she help him up so they were standing on their feet, once on their feet. "Shark Skin." She said, not soon after that, Rei was cover within blue flames protecting him, and then Jasmine did the same thing to Shingotsu cover with blue flames.
As Hiragana look over to Shingotsu, cover within his blue flames. "Shingotsu you doing okay too? I hope your not hurt too." Hiragana said, as his big blue eye's where on her looking over her body to make sure she isn't hurt as well.
. . So don't look down on me. Because I won't think twice of killing you right here,
So you better back off and don't get in my way. Before I deside to take your life.
. . I would make you pay for it, I won't let nothing happen to them

Those with power are called to use it. As Jasmine blew away the debris blocking his exit, Rei only smiled. His smile faded slightly as she used Sharkskin on him. "Enough of that... Let's just get out now, ok? I'll explain what I know when we're not going to get crushed by burning debris." He stood up with Shingotsu and Jasmine's help, and nodded as Hiragana dissipated the Shark Skin around him. Shingotsu just smiled and nodded to Hiragana, moving her free hand over and rubbing the top of his head. "Don't worry... Rei was just a bit careless. The enemy was... something unexpected. We need to get out of here for now." Without much delay, the four quickly left the building, watching as it burned down slightly.

Jasmine smile went away slowly. "Well sorry! I was scared for your dumb a**, plus seeing you hurt makes me feel mad! But fine have it your way." Jasmine said with a cold tone in her voice. "Hiragana lets get out of here right now. " Jasmine said, as she had a hold of Rei. As she hold up her right hand. "Like ladt time Hiragana! Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!" She yelled as she fires a gigantic electricity blast as it shot through the roof as Hiragana came up right below them and leap them out of the burning place by his nose as once they were air born Jasmine flash step with while holding Rei back to where Jisaku was.
