Well, evening there, listeners, and I hope you're enjoyin' a hearty hop!
You're listening to RA66.6, Amityville's very own Radio program, by students,
for students. Interested in gettin' your soooound out on the waaves, well look
no further, just stop on by and sign right up. Just look for me, The Rat Man,
punchin' the bag live here at our very own Fright Night. Stay tuned, we got
tones of goodies in stock for you Hairy Harries and Ghastly Ghoulies!  The Rat Man, turns out to be a rather short, freckled, monkey-faced looking first-year reaper crawling with roaches and rodents. Many of you had heard his voice out on the air waves, pimping out the new Radio Amity club, or lounging in the back of class pretending to not be asleep. Even when he's left the booth, his upright bass familiar, The Boss, keeps constant vigil, growling at those trying to sneak prizes without playing the games like a grumbly guard dog. Also babysitting the booth sits Herryk, a second year undead with a sullen expression. His shirt is at least three sizes too small, buttons strained and mis-matched to their holes, and the newest inclusion of suspenders to his loin cloth can only be the suggestion of his Club Leader. Enzo had insisted they would make him look 'snappy'. At best, they make him look like a tightly wound piece of mess. His brightly colored bow-tie practically strangling his massive, muscled neck only make matters worse. When Enzo isn't around, Herryk is there to help.  ATTENTION Radio Club Members! (And those aspiring to join!)Want to give a hand in the event's programming? Simply ICly hunt Enzo down for an assignment! He will be asking any member he meets, anywhere in the festival, not just this thread, to hunt a piece of information down ICly! Simply quote me wherever you might find him in the festival! (Just don't interrupt an interview or he'll tell you to scram!) This is for ENROLLED STUDENTS ONLY. Whoever successfully brings him back the information wins a surprise minipet, and IC Radio Club standing! Those who complete the task also get a TOKEN when available! Play List:Additionally, if you have attended Radio Club's first meeting and would like to submit a PLAYLIST, simply ICly hunt Enzo or Herryk down (and quote me in this thread, even if you're speaking to Herryk) 'handing in' a list of FIVE SONGS with youtube links. Your choice of music could be playing during Radio Down Times! Those members who do will also get a TOKEN when available! This is only redeemable once for the event per person who attended (even in cameo) the first Radio Club Meeting!

Most Recent Interview:SPARROW FOR VICE PRESIDENTEnzo had taken a minute to shake off the heebies from the rather invasive tentacled-interview. He hovered between booths, checked his equipment, dusted the roaches off his hat, straightened his coat, and sauntered into the next Student Council Candidate booth he spotted. Ah! A Vice President position, this time! Perfect. Tapping a rhythm as he made his way to the front, he swatted away a pair of birds that suddenly became completely entranced with him like a pair of possessed flies buzzing. They could have been after the bugs on the shoulders of his suit but with a final, "SCRAM, damn feathered rats-" He staggered before searching the crowded booth, "There a guy named Sparrow here?" Ah. That would explain the birds. He didn't recognize the boil that swaggered up to his booth, but Sparrow gave him a bright smile anyway, rocking back on his heels.
"That'd be me," he said cheerfully. "And who might you be?"Enzo's eyes were still glued upward for any dive bombing feathered shadows. "Sorry, critters just seem t'get sweet on me," He muttered, clearly not being very sweet on them. He made sure his cap was in place protectively before swinging his shoulder-bag of equipment around and offering out a hand, "Enzo. Enzo Valentino. Head of the student Radio Station. You gotta' moment for an bit of on-air gum flappin'?" Sparrow reached up and grabbed both of the birds in question, dragged them over to their cages, and stuffed them somewhat unceremoniously back into place, snapping the locks smartly shut. Then he turned around and smiled rather sheepishly.
"My apologies," he said lightly, and then reached out and took the boil's hand, giving it a shake. "A pleasure, Enzo," he said, and then blinked at him curiously. "An interview, you mean?" The smile relaxed. "I'd be happy to." "Copacetic." He wasted no time pulling the bag back around, flipping a few switches and unhooking the microphone from it's cradle, sending a previously-sleeping rat down to the ground at their feet. " Welcome back, listeners! You're tuned in to RA66.6 Radio Amity with The Rat Man live at Fright Night with Vice Presidential Candidate, Sparrow. Now can I say what a relief it is you gotta' mouth, Bird?" The microphone was immediately swung his way. It took Sparrow a beat to realize what Enzo was talking about.
"Oh," he said with a laugh and shook his head. "Am I correct in guessing you've just been talking to Riley? But I'm glad to make you feel a bit more comfortable."" Just so long as you keep your hands offa' me, we're good-to-go." Enzo grinned, giving him a wink. " SO! Vice President! That's a pretty big amounta' responsibility!" "Rest assured, my hands will stay far away from you," said Sparrow, grinning. He folded his arms across his chest and the grin relaxed into an easy smile.
"Yes it is," he agreed. "But nowadays, what isn't? This is a responsibility I'd love to take on, though."" You organized shindigs before, then?" The first President Candidate he had offered hadn't even thought about it, and the interview with Riley hadn't exactly given a good opportune to explore the topic. "Ah, not here at school, I'm afraid not," replied Sparrow, with a small laugh. "I'm afraid the other candidate for the vice presidency has more experience in organizing events at Amityville than I have. But that doesn't mean I can't still do my best and work with the student council to have great student opportunities. I could be an amazing planner just waiting to be seen," he added, smiling." I'm surprised! A real sheik like you have the dames crawlin', I imagine." Enzo gave the young man a nudge and a wink. " We all know whatta' school fulla' bloomin' flowers is really goofy for, ammirite?" The rat was growing antsy, and they were far from that lovely cake-ridden booth, and soon set about sniffing at Sparrow's shoes and investigating his socks. Another laugh.
"Well, I don't know about that," he said, eyes twinkling with amusement. The rats around his feet itched a little, but he made no move to step away. "But I'm afraid I'm already happily taken.""Alas, yes," said Sparrow, with as straight a face as he could muster. "But that's just how it goes sometimes, isn't it?"
He grinned a little, and then blinked, momentarily confused. "Ah...I'm afraid I might not understand what it is you're asking, but if you mean what's my number one goal as Student Council Vice President, it would be unity among the students. I don't draw lines or discriminate; everyone's on equal footing in my book, and I'd love to see a wider sense of camaraderie among everyone."" I was more lookin' for if you preferred potato or pumpkin, but that works too! Aehehehe well we're outta' time but thanks for the level! This is RA66.6 with The Rat Man, we'll be back soon with anotha' Student Council Candidate!" A flip of a switch and music resumed back at his booth and over the airwaves. "Thanks, man, thanks! Here's a little sommin' for your trouble, good show!" He was smiling perhaps just a bit too wide as he tucked a token into Sparrow's chest pocket. "Be sure to tune in, guy!" The birds were already picking at the locks of their cages again, and Enzo was quick to scram before they decided to follow him home. Enzo beamed at their booth. It looked great, in his opinion. Very classy. And the new portable equipment he had been set up with- while taking several days to orient himself with- made things look bright.
This was going to be a hoot.
He sat on his stool in the booth upright and proud, flicking a switch as music wailed out of the speakers and simultaneously out onto the airwaves.
It was just a matter of luring the suckers in.

Sucker appropriately lured! Freya was still looking confused from her time at the kissing booth, when a fancy looking wheel caught her eye, and her eyes lit up at the booth it belonged to. "Herryk is WORKIN', ma'am," Enzo insisted, concentrating on this newfangled contraption on the booth bench top. It was growing dull here. He had plans to spice things up later but so far, the games looked good. Soon, or at least as soon as he got this transmitter working, he'd be out on the prowl. Stupid thing. Maybe another Radio Club member would know how to turn the damn thing ON...

♪ GIVE ME A SPIN, TOOTS! ♫ It was the music that caught Edgar's attention. With all of the different and exceedingly interesting booths, the boil felt overwhelmed, unsure where to go next. That was, until he heard the music blasting from the booth. Taking that as a sign, he strode over to the booth, noting the wheel. Suddenly, a blast of feedback signaled Enzo had indeed gotten his new travel-equipment working. "AH!" He fiddled with the dials, and the painful ringing stpped, "Well, hello hello hello! Nice spinnin' there, chum! Go ahead and take your prize from The Boss, I promise he won't bite!" The reaper gave the upright Bass a stern look before tossing the strap of his contraption over his shoulder, and knocking on the tabletop with a knuckle, "I'm hittin' the beat, but you cats enjoy yourselves!"
