Hikari is a bright and cheerful woman, always wanting to make those around her happy. She is very optimistic, and always tries to find the good in a situation, no matter how bleak it seems to be. She also tends to think that everyone has a good inside of them, no matter how dark or evil they seem to be. She is very forgiving, and does not generally hold a grudge, even against the people who treat her poorly.
Her goal in life is to make other people's lives better than her own. She seeks to find people who need help so that she can aid them in order to better their lives. Besides that, she enjoys any place that is bright and warm, because it brings her a sense of security and tranquility. Even at night, she finds comfort among the stars and the moon, letting their radiance comfort her, even though she is surrounded by darkness. She likes to eat sweet things. This includes anything from chocolate to gummy treats. If it has a lot of sugar in it, Hikari will enjoy it. She enjoys tough classes, and is currently training to become a doctor in college. She finds it boring when there is nothing challenging to do, which is why she spends a lot of time doing puzzles like Sudoku, or playing chess against other skilled members.

The Human World
Hikari was born and raised in a secure community, consisting of a happy and supportive family. Her mother was a preschool teacher, and her father was a police officer. She had two older siblings, Hanachi, her sister, who was five years older than her, and Kizuro, her brother, who was eight years older than her. Life was fairly normal for her, despite the fact that all the whole family had the unique ability to see and converse with spirits. They kept this a secret however, seeing as it was unusual to see spirits and people would most likely think they were crazy.
As Hikari continued to grow up, she did very well with school, soon showing that she was incredibly smart. She passed through Elementary School easily, getting into a program in fourth grade called GATE, which was a program for more advanced kids. After Elementary School, she entered Middle School, in which she was enrolled into Honors classes, which she passed through just as easily. It was around this time that her father began teaching her basic self defense classes so she could defend herself if needed. She sped through High School, and joined band, to play guitar and sing, as well as joining the dance team.
Her Sophomore year was when she gained her powers, which she discovered when she saved herself from being hit by a car. She had been walking home late at night, and was crossing with the crosswalk, so all the cars were supposed] to stop for her. But one of the oncoming cars - a drunk driver who saw that were was no traffic pressed on, ignoring the red light, the speed limit, and Hikari. As the car approached her, the girl was caught by surprise, overly trusting, and had suspected the car would stop for her, since that was the law. Frozen with fear, and stuck like a deer in the headlights, Hikari closed her eyes tight as she waited for the decisive blow.
But it didn't come. Instead, the world was completely and utterly silent. No breeze ruffled the trees and plants, there were no longer the distant sounds of music from houses and car traffic. The crickets she had heard earlier weren't chirping. Was she dead? Opening her eyes, Hikari found to her surprise that she wasn't dead, and she was still standing in the middle of the cross walk, the front of the car less than an inch from her. With a shudder, she cautiously stepped forward, then ran until she was safely across the road. She waited, and looked around nervously, before almost jumping out of her skin when the noise resumed, and the car zoomed past her. She sunk down to her knees, shell shocked because she didn't know what had happened. After talking with her parents and experimenting a little more, she learned that not only could she see and talk with spirits, but she had the unique and powerful ability of time manipulation.
Freshman year was when she met a boy, Akira Sakata, whom she became friends with after a while of getting to know him. She bumped into him, literally, and offered him her friendship since he seemed to be lonely. When she felt she could trust him, she told him that she had the ability to see spirits, and even showed him her power. It had been a big move for her, because she was scared that he would reject her, call her a freak, and end up hurting her. Instead he accepted her for what she was, and she two grew closer.

Jikan Hanten [[Time Reversal]]:
Hikari's 'healing' ability. It is essentially time reversal focused on a wound or injury. It doesn't matter what the injury is, she can reverse it from happening, much like Orihime's ability. However, once the wound has has been inflicted, Hikari only has an hour to heal, or she can no longer help. Once an hour is up, she cannot reverse any injuries, and the effects of the wounds are permanent. This is a protection against Hikari messing too much with space and time.
Jikan Teishi [[Time Stop]]:
Hikari has the ability to stop time, though only for fifteen seconds. She can continuously stop time, however, it drains her energy significantly if used to often, and has the chance to kill her if she does not allow her ability to cool down. After using the technique twice in a row, she will get a large migraine, and will begin to get dizzy. After using it three times in a row, she will begin to cough up blood and her body will grow weaker. If she continues from that point on, stopping time has the potential to kill her.
Jikan no Shōheki [[Time Barrier]]:
This technique forms a light pink barrier in front of, or around a person. This is used to protect and stop attacks from ever reaching someone. It does this by reversing time on the attack that hits the barrier, making it so that it was never summoned. The barrier is usually only strong enough to halt one or two attacks, and will shatter like glass soon after.
