Rolling to see who will go first

Feel free to rp as usual randomizing betweeen 1 and 3 for each post, or to pre roll the results and go back and fill the posts in after the fact.

Rolling reference for ease
* For every post in a battle thread make sure you randomize between 1 and 3. The number you get will determine what happened during that turn.
1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time!
2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post.
3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post.

* Keep track of your HP on the top of each post you make please! When someone reaches zero the battle is over. (You can post once or twice more if you'd really like the two to wish each other well or what not)
If the dice decide to be jerks and the battle just keeps going on and on and on I may step in and ask for you guys to roll dice for some outside event to help out. Hopefully it won't be necessary

He fully expected this one to be a worthy opponent. She had made it through the first two rounds, and that should mean that she was at least decent at the sport. Fun.

He bowed in greeting, and the match started. He was unable to dodge her attack, but it had left her open enough that his blade struck. Not a bad start.

He was getting into the zone now, his movements fluid and shifting like sand. She was pretty good, and he wasn't about to let his guard down, and when she attacked, he shifted out of the way, and the blade passed harmlessly by.

Not bad. He lunged, and once again, the blade struck true.

He was feeling superconfident about this, especially when the girl's strike passed by him again. All of the practicing he had put into this did seem to have given him an edge.

He frowned when his attack missed, his blade coming so close but just not making it. A stupid mistake. He'd do better for the next shot.
