It twas a perfect day in Skyrim. My character, Jack, decided to to Dragon Bridge because she needed some money. So she went into their little tavern called, Shields Tavern. When she went inside she talked to the inkeeper. He poility gave her a bounty for some bandits near by. Normal, right? Wrong. When she got outside, only god knows why, there was a dead dragon under the damn tavern.Jack was freaken mind blown as she absorbed its very soul. Then she said to herself: "Well...that was odd. But a glitch is just a glitch. I'm sure it wont happen again". So she thought.
Jack traveled to where these bandits were hiding. Inside a spooky cave by the way. She stealthy took out the bandits one by one with her legendary ebony bow. But when she came back out of the cave. Plop! Another dead dragon out of nowhere! But this time, she did not aborb its soul. At this point Jack was all; "What the hell man?!?! Seriously? Goddess!" Then she continued on with her adventuring. Forever wondering why the hell is that even possible?
The End.
I could not help myself putting this into story form, sorry.

I never had that. It seems that every single time I go to the mage's college, though, i'm attacked by one. And once, i killed a dragon, but nothing happened. No soul. That ticked me off.

I love that "Plop, dead dragon"
But anyway yes this same thing has happened to me and there is a way to fix it. Set up a dragon hospital so whenever a dragon experiences a less than perfect descent to earth they have a place to go and get the aid dew to this human enslaving masters of nature.

Definitely never had that happen to me. But I've killed scores of dragons that I didn't absorb souls for. stressed
