 Palieu had left his parents and brothers back home in the valley of snow, he plodded through slush until it melted under the sun and was replaced by green, lush grass under him. He inhaled deeply of the sweet air, the weather was lovely here, he enjoyed traveling and seeing new things, meeting new friends. His blue eyes mirrored the sky, looking out over a great meadow full of flowers, bright wildflowers, small wild roses kissed with pink and cheerful daisies. He took great care maneuvering his large form through the area, so he would not crush the beauty of it all underhoof. He was the largest of his family next to his father, built like a warhorse, he had muscle he wasn't sure he had ever used to it's full potential, he often shocked others due to his size but his personality didn't really fit the figure, he wanted to be a protector, but more often he was just a gentle giant that liked flowers. The wind tousled his short hair, he was from a family that called themselves the "Ice Tigers" but honestly, he was a fan of warm weather, it came along with pleasant things most time.

Still, if the spirits smiled upon her, she might not meet anyone. Her flowered home brought many visitors, but the fields were great and there was just as good a chance that the hills she chose to roam would be different from where possible strangers might walk. So Faelwyn picked her way happily through the flowers, pausing now and then to sniff or gently nuzzle the flowers she was ever familiar with. A favored lily settled within her hair, tucked against her crown, as well as a few ferns delicately wrapped. Her sister was pure elegance in appearance, but ever rambunctious and hard to pin down; strangely enough, Faelwyn's own coat was seemingly not to be tamed, but her spirit so shy and gentle that she did not fit in her skin.
Ah well.
At least the flowers couldn't, and would never, judge.
So enraptured in the flowers, lost in thoughts and daydreams, the young mare was oblivious that a great, white, ice tiger was steadily approaching the very field in which she lingered.

At first he thought it was a very large bird, but as he got closer, he realized, no, it wasn't a bird. It was a Soquili, like him! But with wings! His blue eyes widened as he counted, one, two, three, FOUR, four wings in total...Could this be one of the Angeni he had heard so much about from his parents? They were said to be blessed creatures with powers beyond that of any normal soul.
A She, definitely a she, stood among the flowers as if she had sprouted out of the field itself, she even had flowers and leaves strewn in her hair, her appearance seemed very natural and wild from the angle he was looking at. he stared dumbly for seconds, minutes, it felt like hours, before he shook his head, feeling silly about the whole thing. After all, Angeni weren't necessarily etherial and unapproachable right? He could just walk right up and say hi! ... He hoped.
He took a deep breath and walked towards her meaningfully, hoping she wouldn't just fly away or something, due to his size sometimes meeting others was...interesting the first time around.
He stopped a decent way aways and clearing his throat a little he smiled and spoke.
" Hello there."

A voice spoke and Faelwyn froze. Her blue eyes suddenly went wide and she quickly looked up to see who had stumbled upon her field of flowers. Her wings flared a bit at her sudden start, but black rimmed eyes were quick to settle upon the source -- he was rather hard to miss now that she was paying attention.
A large, pale, wingless stallion had stepped forward. He was as big as her father, if not perhaps larger, and looked to be built like a warrior. He was a most pale color, complete with stripes, and very bright blue eyes. She was not at all familiar with him or the scent he carried; so he was not from some of the neighboring herds or territories. A stranger.
Still, there were many strangers in the world, and Faelwyn was a little less skittish than she was as a filly. Sort of. Quickly dropping her gaze, realizing she'd probably been staring, the mare gave a dip of her head and body, a bow. ". . . Greetings, s-sir . . . " She finally spoke, her words tentative at best. Oh, how she wished her more gregarious sister or brother were near, so they might take control of this situation and speak freely to the newcomer, the guest.
Faelwyn desperately wanted to be a good lady, a princess, but her personality was so reserved and cautious, it was difficult to always do what was right.
