The weather was good. Not too foggy, not too sunny, no rain, but alas, there was no snow. His plans for the day had been rather simple. Go for a run, get some things for his booth ready, try to get his homework all done. It was a break he told himself as he went to the late. He'd worked and gotten part of his booth set up, there was nothing he needed to do on that part.

But he knew it was just homework evasion.

Not the best, but also not the worst thing. The worst would be him not doing it at all. He had time and he was going to spend it down by the lake. He wasn't alone in this however, spying a boil by a scattering of rocks. He'd never seen the other before and with a small smile thought to intoduce himself.

"Good day."

Off to a brilliant start. "Are you a new student here at Amityville?"

Frost smiled before giving a slight bow. "Not quite. I am a second year, my enrollment occurred last winter. Right around scarentines." A most troublesome time, if due to his ignorance of halloween proper.

Going to the rock, he got closer before he was about to reach out, offering a handshake. "Frost in the Storm, though some have taken to call me King. Are you a ghost as well?" He didn't smell like the dead or like a monster. "I am a white wolfos of the north. A less common species this far south."

“Morifune-san then? Most down here use their first names rather… casually. I found it a bit odd at first, but after a while you adjust. Some here use the more formal manners of address, though it’s quite uncommon. But it’s always nice to encounter one who is not so casual if you will.” Yin was one such individual. Even if a few times the wolfos called Yin Cang ‘Yin’ time to time, it was always best to be formal. “Sorry, I’ve gone off a bit.” His hand waved it off. It was always hard to explain, better if he never had to.

Handshake given, the wolfos bowed as best he could from the position on the rocks. “Heikegani. Not a species I have heard, but my people are more mountainous. I do know however that the school has quite the collection of water dwelling students enrolled, so perhaps you might find some of their company more familiar. But subjects?” It was hardly a dumb question to King, rather it was to him, a good question to ask.

“I know of FEAR Healing, a minipet trainers course, recently a boogeyman has come on part time. There is history, culture, theater, arts and crafts, gym, though I would personally suggest taking up your fellow students up for spars. The best experience is practice after all. We also have the various odds and end classes, you usually will see them posted a few days in advance. Past that there are internships for the older students, but as I understand it, the staff is usually willing to help if asked.” His tail swayed a bit.
“Any course you’re interested in particular?”
