Koke is, well, quirky to say the least. She's a rather distracted doe, unable to focus on the matter at hand for more than a few minutes at a time. In the Waking World she is very loyal to Chinua but it's not odd for her to just wander away or stop grazing to gaze off at nothing. She deeply loves those close to her (Tsaan/Chinua/Shen) but can seem rather aloof with strangers since they can't seem to capture her attention for more a few moments. In the Dreaming World she is much the same way, flitting from thought to thought and thing to thing. Naturally inquisitive, fear doesn't seem to enter her head at all. Throw danger at her and she has to stop to ponder whether it is actually harmful before doing anything. Koke also has the habit of making up names for herself, and changing them to suit her needs...as well as making up names for others based on how she sees them.

Kuir is the exact opposite of what a normal hawk would be. Instead of being standoffish, he loves people and animals. Almost always he can be found sitting on Chinua's shoulder, nestling his head in her hair. When happy he clicks and whistles, and when he's not on Chinua's person he can be found hitching a ride on Koke's saddle. In the dreaming world he is just as loving, and watches over Koke as she bounces through life. He never approaches her, instead he watches her from afar.
