Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Dreydonna cackled and bounced ahead of Zinnia, drifting to a stop above the wide canyon gap. A nice big field to cause mischief in~
Zinnia tapped her microphone to check that it was on. "Okay, 'Donna, let's do this," she said with a confident grin.

Mephistopheles bowed before the gengar. "Greetings. I hope we have a good battle."
His eye began to glow, and tendrils of shadow burst up from the canyon, shielding Mephistopheles..

Dreydonna's grin grew so wide that it threatened to split her face in half. Her teeth were extremely white.

The female ghost suddenly vanished in a cloud of black mist.

As the black mist touched the tendrils, they disintegrated into nothing. Mephistopheles' eye glowed eerily at the mist.

"Lick!"
Dreydonna flew across the gap of the canyon, allowing her frighteningly long tongue to hang out of her mouth. When she reached Mephistopheles, she whipped the slimy muscle around and attempted to lick his red mask-like face.

Dreydonna vanished, ignoring the lights completely. She reappeared behind Mephisto and attempted to lick the back of his head with her ropy tongue.
Zinnia sighed; the ghost usually took the initiative in battles, but she supposed that as long as she wasn't wreaking too much havoc it wasn't a huge concern.

Dreydonna wobbled in midair. What was going on? She saw spots every time she blinked.

Dreydonna rolled her red eyes and tried to summon the thick cloud of black mist again. She wasn't entirely sure what she was doing, however, and flailed around a bit more than necessary in her confusion.
