WE ARE HALLOWEEN Mist Hunter The Miss Taken Tower General Information As the general, jack-of-all trades division, the Mist Hunter training course is a combination of the other divisions' training challenges and also one of the more complicated. The goal of this course is to rescue the princess in the tower. Below her, you'll find yourself confronted with a number of shadowling attackers, and beyond them, a room of only slightly deadly traps. But even should you reach her location, you still need to pick the lock on the manacles holding her in place. Unskilled fiddling with the locks will prove unhealthy for both the princess and yourself. And once that's done, you need to make your way back down through the traps and shadowlings, defending the princess the whole way.
The Miss Taken Tower is one of the most challenging and frustrating courses available.
If you fail: your princess dies, and you are quite possibly KO'd. Senior hunters are observing and will make with a timely rescue as needed.
If you win: the princess will adore you for the rest of her exceedingly brief existence. Peen points for 100% health for you and the Princess, shadowlings fought, going for consecutive rescues.
Part 1 Mechanics - roll your regular attack - roll your regular attack again - if you miss an attack, you lose 50% of your full HP - if you have an available recovery bonus, you may try to use that to avoid HP loss
Bonus Mechanics - This bonus is consumable. - for the Mist Course, it is recommended you review the mechanics of the other division courses, as the division bonuses carry over.
- Trainees: 0 recoveries - Mist/Sun Trainees: 1 recovery - Hunters: 1 recovery - Mist/Sun Hunters: 2 recoveries
Part 2 Mechanics - there are two steps worth of traps in this room, so you'll be rolling twice

01. horrible death 02. - 50% HP 03. - 50% HP 04. live 05. live 06. - 50% HP 07. horrible death 08. - 50% HP 09. horrible death 10. live

Bonus Mechanics
- Trainees: roll 1d4 - Mist/Life Trainees: roll 1d6 - Hunters: roll 1d6 - Mist/Life Hunters: roll 1d8

Dakota had gotten a little antsy with the calmness since dispelling of the dragon and general rebuilding task. It felt like he was lacking in training with his body and with his mind. Decisions had come and gone as he decided that it was Wilson who would accompany him.
To the most difficult of the training courses. He had it all set up with the senior hunters who wanted to see a few trainee's kill themselves...
Now it was just Wilson he needed.Syusaki Text to Wilson: Hey Wilson! Wanna do the mist training with me today? It'd be a great way to get back on track and I need the workout...it's all set up if you come to the training fields!

After dealing with Gramps for a week and defeating the Insanity dragon, the calm that settled over Deus was a welcome change for Wilson. It had been weird to discover his weapon, when not a, well, weapon, had a fondness for kicking things. That alone troubled Wilson, but Gramps ‘affectionately’ kicking Wilson in the side or back or wherever troubled him even more. Actually, it was just plain painful. There were even a few splotches of purple bruises that still dotted his side.
With his face buried into his pillow, Wilson heard his phone ring. His arm reached for the phone in his pockets and then sat up to read the message. He winced, but punched out a quick message anyways.Gramps snickered as Wilson slowly made his way toward the training fields. Once he spotted the familiar moon hunter, he grinned and waved. “Dakota! Hey.”

Unlike his brother, Dakota did not deal with a kicking golem. He dealt with a clinging shrilling motherly hen who wanted all of his attention all the time.
He looked at the text happily though and bounced on the spot he had been told to wait for the mist tower. Now, he was a moon this was true but...he had been told that the more training he did, the better assest he would be to the group.
And he really did want to be a good hunter, to be a better defender. He just needed more experience.
Chama chiimed as she flared to life at his side.
Soon wasn't soon enough, he thought darkly. They were heading for big trouble and this hunter knew it. And he wanted to be alive after it happened. When he spotted his brother though, he raised his hand and raced over, like a eager child.
"Good morning my brother from another mother. Are you ready to do some serious training today?"

As Dakota waved back and ran over excitedly, Wilson half-expected the moon hunter to tackle him like a giant puppy. [Kiddo, that should be you.] What. Just jokin’…maybe.
He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at Dakota. “Did you really just say that?” Wilson asked with an amused grin. “With you around I’m not sure if you can call it serious training, but I’m ready when you are.” He leaned over to try and get a look at the training course. “So, which one are we going to do? It’s your call, really.” The death hunter sort of secretly hoped they wouldn’t be attempting the moon course. Lord knows how pathetic his first (and only) try at it had ended.

Dakota almost did tackle the brother Wilson, of course his arms came around to hug the Death hunter and squeeze him tightly. Very tightly. Crushingly so. Yes. "I really did say that, that's rude and If your ready then..." The moon hunter shook off the hug and grinned, "It could be super serious. I asked them to prep the mist tower because..." he stretched and then the grin got wider, "Mist have their fingers in all the pies. So their training should be the strongest." and the most intense...they had to specialize in everything rather then just one thing like the rest of the other squads. "Okay let's start this!" Dakota nodded and then prepared himself. It was time for the Sun hunter part. He made a rasping sound as the taller hunter wrapped him in a crushing hug. Wilson smiled weakly and attempted to awkwardly wrap his arms around Dakota and pat him on the back. It was a hug filled with pain, but it was still a hug. He liked hugs.
Wilson grinned. “You know I was just teasing.” Once he was released he stepped back and rolled his neck and cracked his wrists. “The mist course, huh?” He stared at the tower. The death hunter had done the course a few times and they hadn’t been total disasters. Perhaps this run would be the same as the rest. “It’s true. The mist hunters really have it hard.” Briefly, he thought of Em.
“Right after you!” he said and walked after the moon trainee while pulling off his goggles. Seconds later, he bashed a few of the shadowlings with his cannons.Status Stage: 1 Your HP: 50/50 Princess HP: 20/20 Stage 1 Recoveries: Stage 2 Flags and Instincts: Stage 4 Bonus HP:

The sun part was easy enough. It was now on to the death part...He winced as he thought of deathsweeper and looked at Wilson.
"Ah..Okay here I go..." He looked around warily...and took his first step. Nothing seem to happen though and he breathed out a breath of relief. "Alright Wilson, this is your thing. Good luck brother!"Status Stage: 2 Dakota: 50/50 Princess HP: 20/20 Stage 1 Recoveries: 0 Stage 2 Flags and Instincts: 1 flag Stage 4 Bonus HP: +2 Defense Syusaki I'll roll his second one after you roll! <3

The hunter still kept up a calm smile, though if Dakota bothered to scrutinize Wilson enough he would realize it was a smidge strained as soon as Wilson came upon the second part of the course. He returned the look Dakota gave him with a reassuring smile. “You can do it.” When he saw Dakota had safely landed onto a tile, Wilson nodded. “Alright!”
He stepped onto a tile and cautiously looked in both directions. A gut feeling told him to look up and he yelped. “No way!” Wilson jumped off the square to avoid the boulder that had crashed onto the floor. Eyebrows furrowed and eyes wide, Wilson placed a hand over his chest while he thanked his quick reflexes.Status Stage: 2 Your HP: 50/50 Princess HP: 20/20 Stage 1 Recoveries: 0 Stage 2 Flags and Instincts: 1 flag 1 instinctStage 4 Bonus HP:

"Way to dodge the bullet brother!" Dakota grinned as he did a jig on his tile. Okay, now it was his turn again. He prayed to the gods that he wouldn't land on a death tile and took a step.
The tile fell away though, leaving the moon hunter to stare down at a pile of stakes as he barely clutched the edge of the pitfall and pulled himself off. The bad thing...his leg had gotten seriously ******** up with the fall, blood seeped down from his golem and had him cringing in pain as he pulled himself up. The good thing...he was still ******** death training."Status Stage: 2 Dakota: 25/50 Princess HP: 20/20 Stage 1 Recoveries: 0 Stage 2 Flags and Instincts: 1 flag (Totally is 2 so -50% health) Stage 4 Bonus HP: +2 Defense

Wilson smiled at Dakota and laughed. “Thanks.”
“Dakota!” he called out as the moon hunter’s golem nearly fell into a pile of stakes. He winced, but at least Dakota managed to crawl out, albeit with a damaged leg. “Well, let’s look on the bright side,” he offered, “You haven’t died yet.” Yet. A bit nervous, Wilson opted to drop a flag onto his next planned tile. He poker faced at the cauldron of acid that appeared beneath. Nope. He hopped onto a different tile and prayed for the best and fortunately, he was still alive. Wilson breathed a sigh of relief and hopped to the other side of the room.

Wilson eyed the cuffs warily. He walked over to begin fiddling with one of the locks. It took him a while, but eventually Wilson managed to take off the lock without causing it to explode. This was good. The past few tries had always involved one of the locks exploding. Maybe this was another reason why he wasn't in the life division? Probably.
Princess golem in hand, Wilson trailed behind Dakota. "After you."Status Stage: 3 Your HP: 50/50 Princess HP: 20/20 Stage 1 Recoveries: 0 Stage 2 Flags and Instincts: 1 flag 1 instinctStage 4 Bonus HP:
