Here, in this forum, I, Mental Neko will put down anything that I feel is necessary to be archived. If I have ideas for a clan, it will likely be posted here first, ideas for a custom anything really. Also, when I get bored I will likely post random profiles...I like making profiles, it's enjoyable.
So basically, here, I will be posting anything that I create for the most part, so if you want to delve into the mind of me, Mental-kun, Neko-kun, Neko, Mental, or Mental Neko-kun, or whatever you want to call me, feel free to, however those are my prefered names. ^-^ So have fun browsing my creations. Please try not to post anything until I have all four pages up, the fifth page will be saved for comments and other posts, or concerns you may have with something I post.

Clan/Kekkei Genkai Name: Kōsetsu - 降雪 Three Words Describing the Clan/Kekkei Genkai: Calm, Stoic, Cold H i s t o r y: Along with the birth of the Yuki clan, the Kosetsu clan was born. They had similar abilities, originating from two brothers, twins in fact, deep within the heart of the land of water. The Yuki clan, powerful and quick would grow to become a massive tool of war. The Kosetsu clan however would grow to become quiet and calm, sitting in the snow that they ever generated, loyal to their nation, but avoiding the battles that approached with every passing moment, every passing day, one way or another, they were Shinobi.
As the civil war within Kirigakure came to fruition, the Kosetsu were seen as Shinobi with a kekkei genkai no different than that of the Yuki clan's, so they would be forced into hiding, or death. Many of the clansmen would move on to hide in the open, acting as if they were not Shinobi, living normal lives, while others would scatter outwards, some becoming Missing Ninja, while others would settle into new villages, becoming Shinobi for a new nation. From that day forth, snow would fall no more in Kiri...
While the Yuki clan has great manipulative abilities regarding ice, the Kosetsu clan has similar manipulative abilities, however their abilities lie within the natural weather patterns of snow. These abilities include being able to make the weather change drastically, creating dark clouds in the sky, turning sunny days into cold snow covered mornings. Their abilities are rather fantastic as they can summon forth a torrent of snow from their gullets, or create fantastic sculptures for use of battle as they change the field completely for their own advantages. Among other things, the Kosetsu clan is rather agile, their movements fluid and competent. Often times, the Kosetsu clan is associated with the moon.~
• *The Polar Bear summonings are common among this clan. Strengths: • Ninjutsu Proficiency • Wide scale attacks and proficiency with crowd control. • Great speed and agility, being able to move fairly well. • Strong healing abilities.
Weaknesses: • They lack proficiency in Genjutsu. • Members of this clan tend to be rather weak physically. • Their skin is very cold to the touch.
Restrictions: • All members of this clan must have water and wind as their chakra elements. • All Kosetsu clan techniques are a variation of Yukiton.
Attribute: • Toketsu: The air around the Kosetsu member is cold, and as such, they are not affected by any change in heat. However, because of this, their presence is easily noticed.
Clan/Kekkei Genkai Jutsus:
Jutsu Name: Ten no Yuki [ Heavenly Snow ] Rank: A Element: Yukiton Classification: Supplementary Description: Despite its rank, this is one of the signature techniques of the Kosetsu clan. After forming the required hand seals, a large multitude of light grey clouds will form in the sky above, drastically changing the environment. After the formation of the clouds [1 post] a large amount of snow will begin falling to the earth, in a blizzard like amount, quckly blanketing the area around. [ Lasts [6] posts ]
Jutsu Name: Fierce Snowing at Will Rank: A Element: Yukiton Classification: Supplementary Description: Similar to pain's ability to make it rain, a high ranking Kosetsu clan member can easily cause the area around to begin snowing, easily transforming a nation into the land of snow. The snow created falls slowly as though created by natural means.
Jutsu Name: Crescent Moon Creation Rank: B Element: Yukiton - Maruton Classification: Supplementary Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user of this technique will generate a large crescent moon in the sky at cloud level, for obvious reasons, it is noticeably smaller than the real moon, and it is comprised entirely out of the Kosetsu clan members snow like chakra. The moon intensifies the abilities of Yukiton techniques, and the environment will become noticeably colder. [ The moon requires constant upkeep of chakra, and lasts for 6 posts ]
Jutsu Name: Gibbous Moon Creation Rank: A Element: Yukiton - Maruton Classification: Supplementary Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user will form a large Gibbous moon in the sky at cloud level. The moon is created entirely out of the users snow like chakra. It increases snow fall, as well as adds to the power of the users Yukiton techniques. The environment will also be subject to a sudden chill. [ The moon requires constant chakra, and lasts for 6 posts ]
Jutsu Name: Full Moon Creation Rank: S Element: Yukiton - Maruton Classification: Supplementary Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user will create a massive full moon in the sky at cloud level, the moon is created entirely out of the users snow like chakra. Along with the creation of the moon, a multitude of white clouds are created in the sky. The Moon causes the weather to drop to arctic temperatures, and the clouds release a torrent of snow, causing a blizzard. [ The moon and clouds require constant chakra, and lasts for 4 posts ]
Jutsu Name: White Wolf Creation Rank: A Element: Yukiton Classification: Offensive Description: The user forms a quick series of hand seals, after words, they expel a large amount of quick moving snow, the snow will then take form as a powerful yet maleable large wolf that will move in and attack the target. The user must maintain their hand seal or the snow will fall apart. [ The final hand seal is [ bird ].
Jutsu Name: Snow Sculpture Technique Rank: C Element: Yukiton Classification: Supplementary Description: The user will form a short series of hand seals, afterwards, their snow will form a quick clone of themselves, or an animal/figure of their choice, the figure is used primarily for offensive purposes.
Jutsu Name: Multiple Snow Sculptures Rank: A Element: Yukiton Classification: Supplementary Description: The user will form a series of hand seals, afterwards, they can manipulate the snow previously created to form a multitude of sculptures, be it clones of themselves, or any other figure. The figures created has a fairly large range of power.
Jutsu Name: Snow Dragon Creation Rank: A Element: Yukiton Classification: Offensive Description: The user will quickly form a series of hand seals, afterwards they will expunge a large amount of fast moving snow similar to the snow wolf technique, however, this time it will create a snowy dragon that is very maleable and fast moving, taking both defensive and offensive traits.
Jutsu Name: Frozen Angel of Snow Rank: S Element: Yukiton Classification: Supplementary Description: The user forms a short series of hand seals, afterwards, a frozen torrent of snow will move around the user, forming wings, and a single sleeve over the users right arm. This snow is closer to ice, and very difficult to melt. The wings are very large, and angelic, the user can close them around him/herself using them as a shield.
Jutsu Name: Snowfall Absorption Technique Rank: S+ Element: Yukiton Classification: Supplementary Description: The user forms multiple hand signs, during snowfall, with each snow flake that touches their opponent, a small portion of the targets chakra is absorbed, if the opponent uses a technique, it can be absorbed into the snowflakes with the same ability, during a blizzard, this technique become extremely disastrous. [ This technique lasts 6 posts ]
Jutsu Name: Snowfall Sensory [ An extension to all snowfall techniques ] Rank: A Element: Yukiton Classification: Sensory - Attribute Description: The user can sense any presence that their snow touches, this ability is sensitive enough to be able to even make out their opponents form.
Jutsu Name: Ivory Kiss Rank: B - A Element: Yukiton Classification: Medical Description: The user can manipulate their snow techniques to allow their chakra formed snow to enter the targets wound, by doing this, they can cut of bleeding, replacing tissue by carefully freezing their ice in place. However, when the user dies, the fake tissue created will melt, if the wound was deadly, the target will, once again, be at risk.
Jutsu Name: Snowfall Healing Rank: S+ Element: Yukiton Classification: Medical Description: Similar to Katsuya's ability to split apart in order to heal people by transferring Tsunade's chakra through the small slugs, the user of this technique will transfer their chakra through their snow flakes, healing all who the Snow touches.
[ All of the snow created by Kosetsu clan members is formed primarily of chakra, as such it is very difficult to melt, requiring high leveled katon techniques. ]
Will you be the head of the Kekkei Genkai (heads must be approved NPCs)? If not, who will? Yes, my new character Kona Yuki will be the clan head I suppose. ^-^

Kona's Kenjutsu
Santoryu Style - 三刀流
Santoryu | Nitoryu | Ittoryu | Mutoryu | Kyutoryu
Santoryu
Oni Giri (鬼斬り Oni Giri?, literally meaning "Demon Slash"): A three-way simultaneous slashing attack. Zoro crosses his two swords across his chest and places the blade in his mouth horizontally behind them. Zoro then approaches the target (usually at high speed) and cuts through by swinging the swords across his chest, resulting in a descending diagonal-crossing slash from both swords while the mouth blade performs a horizontal cut from either the left or right, depending on which side of his mouth he positioned the sword's main blade at. The pun in the name is that Onigiri is also the name of a Japanese rice snack. This was first seen used to finish Cabaji and the first technique he used against Mihawk. It should also be noted that in that fight with Mihawk, the technique’s main weakness was discovered. There is a single brief moment when the three swords are all lined up behind each other. If one can block them at that instant, the entire technique will be rendered useless. Mihawk did so by putting his necklace blade against the front most sword when Zoro tried the technique. Doing so however, requires an enormous amount of strength, more so than Zoro himself or else he’ll just push through the block and connect anyways, as shown with Zoro's battle with Hatchan. This attack is as powerful as Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Bazooka or Kaku's Bigan.
Yaki Oni Giri (焼鬼斬り Yaki Oni Giri?, literally meaning "Burning Demon Slash"): A variation of the Oni Giri where Zoro's swords are on fire. Should this attack connect, the opponent will also be set on fire. The pun in the name is that "Oni Giri" can also mean "rice ball", and adding "Yaki" to it would change its meaning to "grilled rice ball". Zoro first used this attack to save Usopp from being blown up by Mr. 5. The main flaw of the technique is that Zoro is also being burnt while using this technique. In the Viz Manga and FUNimation dub, this is called Flaming Oni Giri.
Enbima Yonezu Oni Giri (艶美魔夜不眠鬼斬り Enbima Yonezu Oni Giri?, literally meaning "Charm Demon Sleepless Night Demon Slash"): A stronger variation of "Oni Giri" where the swords are twisted during the slash for added force, resulting in this attack striking multiple opponents instead of one. The pun in the name is that since "Onigiri" can mean "rice ball"; when "Ebi Mayonēzu" is added, the name can also mean "shrimp mayonnaise rice ball" in Japanese. This was first seen being used against several marines in the Enies Lobby courthouse. During its use, he generated a steam which made his swords look like they were bending. In the Viz Manga, this is called Charming Demon Sleepless Night Oni Giri. As for added visual effects, a cloaked demon (with glowing red eyes in the anime) appears to be standing behind him when he uses this technique
Tora Gari (虎狩り Tora Gari?, literally meaning "Tiger Hunt"): Zoro puts his hand swords over his mouth blade and swings forth a forward descending slash with them. At close-range, this can incapacitate at least two average foes at once. When Zoro uses this attack, the aura of a tiger's head is shown behind him. The pun in the name is that "Tora Gari" is also a type of Mohican haircut. Zoro first showed this attack to defeat the Nyaban Brothers. In the Viz Manga, this is called Tiger Hunt, but later in Volume 21 it is called Tiger Trap. In the 4Kids and FUNimation dubs, this is called Tiger Trap.
Santoryu Ogi: Sanzen Sekai (三刀流奥義 三・千・世・界 Santōryū Ōgi: Sanzen Sekai?, literally meaning "Three-Sword Style Secret Technique: Three Thousand Worlds"): Zoro holds two of his swords at an angle against each other and rotates them rapidly while running towards his opponent to create momentum; he then slices up the foe with full speed and power. This attack was first used to try to defeat Dracule Mihawk.[3] According to the name of this attack, this is the ultimate and strongest technique of the Santoryu. It was first used successfully against Oars after 429 chapters since its first appearance, where Zoro dealt three enormous slashes over Oars' body with the technique.[4] It is seen again much earlier in the anime, when a hypnotized Roronoa Zoro used it against Monkey D. Luffy in the Ocean Dream filler arc.[5] In One Piece Grand Adventure, the move is initiated by Zoro placing his swords in an inverse triangular formation before spinning his two swords together and is featured as Zoro's cinematic attack. In the 4Kids dub, this is called Ultimate Three Swords: Three Thousand Worlds, and in the FUNimation dub this is called Three Swords Style Secret Technique: Three Thousand Worlds. It is a reference to the Nichiren Buddhism’s core principle Ichinen Sanzen, which literally means 3000 realms (sanzen) in a single moment of life (ichinen) experienced by a person’s mind. In this case, three simultaneous slashes of his swords. When he used this against Mihawk for some reason he spun the two swords in opposite directions, the right hand clockwise and the left hand counter-clockwise.
Toro Nagashi (刀狼流し Tōrō Nagashi?, literally meaning "Sword Wolf Floating"): At a close range, Zoro leans toward the opponent, using two of his swords to block the opponent's attacks while twisting his body around as he is continuously moving to approach and dodge other attacks (if there are any) and eventually cutting through the opponent's stomach with the third sword. It was used in Zoro's battle against Hatchan. Zoro performed an aerial version of this move against Bartholomew Kuma when he used it to effectively evade the latter's rapid Pressure Cannon attack, and would have succeeded to land a point-blank hit had Kuma not blocked his swords with his "paws".[6] In the Viz Manga and 4Kids and FUNimation dubs, this is called Streaming Wolf Swords. Toro nagashi (灯籠流し) is a Japanese ceremony in which participants float paper lanterns (chochin) down a river.
Tatsu Maki (龍巻き Tatsu Maki?, literally meaning "Dragon Twister"): Zoro spins with his swords to create a dragon-like tornado that both slashes and blows away the target(s). By the time of the Enies Lobby Arc, Zoro achieved enough power to bust apart a tall establishment all the way through the topmost ceiling with this move and was also able to break Tekkai. This is one of Zoro's most powerful attacks. "Tatsumaki" means "tornado" in Japanese, and is also a type of sushi. In the Viz Manga and 4Kids dub this is called Dragon Twister, and in the FUNimation dub this technique keeps it name. However, in the FUNimation dub of the Arlong arc, Zoro calls it Dragon Twister. It was first used to defeat Hatchan. The aura of a chinese dragon is seen accompanying him during the formation of this technique
Ushi Bari (牛針 Ushi Bari?, literally meaning "Bull Horns"): Zoro executes a multi-hit running attack with two swords held out like a bull's horns. This was first seen being used against Mr. 1. The pun here is that an "ushibari" is a wooden beam used in Japanese homes. This is called Bull Needles in the Viz Manga and FUNimation dub, and Bull Charge in the 4Kids dub. The aura of a bull is seen accompanying Zoro when he uses this attack.
Gazami Dori (蟹(ガザミ)獲り Gazami Dori?, literally meaning "Crab Seize"): All three swords are horizontally parallel, suddenly clamping down on the target like a crab's claw for a guillotine like effect that would normally cut a person's head off. In the Viz Manga and FUNimation dub, this is called Crab Grab. This was first seen being used against Mr. 1. The name is a pun off of "kazamidori", or "weather vane". When Zoro uses this technique, the aura of a crab is seen behind him.
Hyakuhachi Pound Ho (百八煩悩(ポンド)鳳 Hyakuhachi Pondo Hō?, kanji meaning "Phoenix of the 108 Earthly Desires"; furigana meaning "108 Pound Phoenix/Cannon"): Same principle as the thirty six version of the same attack. Holding his two swords horizontally above the shoulder and the other in his mouth in the same direction, and then performs a circular swing that launches three air compressed projectiles spiraling towards the target instead of one or two, tripling the power of the technique, but with Shuusui, the air compressed projectiles instead fuse and become a larger and more powerful, compressed air projectile. This attack seems to be as powerful as Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Cannon. This was first seen being used to finish off Ohm. The attack's name is actually a very heavy pun, it's written out as "Phoenix of the 108 Earthly Desires" in the Manga with a skewed reading attached that makes it "108 Pound Ho" when read out. Ho means both Cannon and Phoenix, however the attached Kanji is for Phoenix, making that the literal translation and the "Cannon" reading a Pun on that, both of which are correct. The "Pound" part is a skewed reading of the Kanji "Bonnou" for Earthly Desires, and it is referring to the Caliber of a Cannon (a 108 Caliber Cannon would fire a 108 Pound Ball). This is called 108 Pound Phoenix in the Viz Manga and Funimation sub, 108 Caliber Phoenix in the FUNimation dub, and Triple Sword Soaring Phoenix in the 4Kids dub.
Karasuma Gari (鴉魔狩り Karasuma Gari?, literally meaning "Demon Crow Hunt"): Zoro performs a flying multiple slash technique. This attack is strong enough to cut steel, as it was first seen used to slice cannonballs. This was first seen being used against the Franky Family. The pun is that "kasumagari" is slang for a leg cramp in several regions of Japan, including the one that Eiichiro Oda is from. This is called Raven Hunt in the Viz Manga and the English version of One Piece: Grand Battle! Rush! (dubbed by 4Kids).
Gyuki: Yuzume (牛鬼 勇爪 Gyūki: Yuzume?, literally meaning "Cattle Demon: Brave Hoof"): The swords are positioned pointing at the enemy. Zoro lunges forward and hits the enemy with great impact. This was first seen being used to shatter T-Bone's sword. This attack can also be done on air. In the Viz Manga, this is called Bull Demon Courageous Talons. The ushi-oni, or gyūki, is a a horned, bovine head creature which appears in the folklore of Japan. When Zoro uses this attack, the aura of a cattle is shown behind him.
Ichi Gorilla (一剛力羅(ゴリラ) Ichi Gorilla?, literally meaning "One Gorilla"): Zoro flexes his left or right bicep, in preparation for Nigori-zake. "剛力" (gori) means "herculean or great strength". The pun is of course, "one great strength" and gorilla. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called One Gorilla.
Ni Gorilla (二剛力羅(ゴリラ) Ni Gorilla?, literally meaning "Two Gorillas"): Zoro flexes his right or left bicep, in preparation for Nigori-zake, as a follow-up for the above technique. As above, the pun is "two great strength" and gorilla. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called Two Gorilla.
Nigori-Zake (二剛力斬(ニゴリザケ) Nigori-Zake?, literally meaning "Two-Arm Strength Slash"): After using both Ichi and Ni Gorilla, Zoro swings his swords so that the tips meet when they hit the opponent, with the swords in his mouth and left hand being held at the same level and the right's hilt dropping at an angle. The pun here is that nigori zake also means 'unrefined sake (Japanese Rice Wine)'. The literal translation of this move means 'two great-strength decapitation'. This was first seen being used against Kaku. This attack is powerful enough to disperse Kaku's Bigan. When he use these attacks, his biceps seem to get almost 2 or 3 times bigger, being it similar to Urouge's ability of increase his muscle mass. His arms also bulk up like Chopper's while using Arm Point. In the Viz Manga, this is called Two Gorilla Cut. When performing this technique Zoro is accompayed by the aura of a gorilla.
Hyo Kin Dama (豹琴玉 Hyō Kin Dama?, literally meaning "Leopard Koto Ball"): Zoro jumps forward while spinning in the air, forming a ball shape with his blades. This is basically a feinting maneuver, so even if the target manages to read the pattern of this attack and move out of Zoro's trajectory, they will still be cut as Zoro careens past them. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called Leopard Spinning Balls, and in the FUNimation dub, this is called Hyokindama. The kin or koto (琴 or 箏) is a traditional Japanese stringed musical instrument, can be read as Kotodama ("The Power of Words"), but the pun is that it can be misread as "Hyo Kintama", "A Leopard's Balls." When using this technique, the aura of a leopard is accompaying Zoro.
Daibutsu Giri (大仏斬り Daibutsu Giri?, literally meaning "Great Buddha Cut"): A series of horizontal sword slashes that are powerful enough to cut apart a small building. This is the first new Santoryu technique Zoro has used since losing Yubashiri. This move can also be performed vertically. This was first seen being used to provide Sanji with "ammunition" for his "Jenga Ho" technique. This can be misread as dai ("big") and butsu-giri ("roughly chopped"). In the Viz Manga this is called Great Buddha Chop.
Yasha Garasu (夜叉鴉 Yasha Garasu?, literally meaning "Yaksa Crow"): Zoro spins like a rolling wheel at an enemy with his swords, eventually coming to a head with a tornado-like move while continually thrusting the swords at the opponent. This attack leaves cuts shaped like crows' feet. In the Viz Manga this is called Demonic Raven This was first seen being used to carve up Oars' arm. Yaksa is the devil which embraced Buddhism. It is also a pun on a three-legged crow called Yata Garasu, a reference to the three rows of crow feet-shaped cuts Zoro leaves. While using this technique, the aura of a Yaksa is seen behind him. In the anime, the aura of a crow is seen.
Santoryu Ogi: Rokudo no Tsuji (三刀流奥義 六道の辻 Santōryū Ōgi: Rokudō no Tsuji?, literally meaning "Three Swords Style Secret Technique: Crossing of Six Paths"): An enhanced version of Santoryu Ogi: Sanzen Sekai, learned after two years of training with Mihawk. Zoro manages to bend his body, and swing the swords in the form of an inverted "S" shape while performing a vertical spin, slashing the opponent six times simultaneously so fast that he did not seem to move at all. This technique's named after the Six Paths of Buddhism, that is said to the be the six states where a person is controlled by their desires and conquering them is able to transcend their animal nature. It was first used against the Kraken, to cut one of its tentacles and divide it into six pieces. In the video game One Piece: Gigant Battle! 2 New World, this technique involves six repeated slashes, ending with a vertical spin. In the FUNimation subs, it is called Three-Sword Style technique; Crossing the Six Paths.
Kokujo: O Tatsumaki (黒縄・大龍巻 Kokujō: Ō Tatsumaki?, literally meaning "Black Rope: Great Dragon Twister"): A much stronger and more effective version of "Tatsu Maki", where Zoro performs the same action. He spins to create a dragon-like tornado that both slashes and blows away the targets, but the attack keeps going like an actual whirlwind and cuts up anyone who gets caught in it. While the old version only gave the victims small cuts and was able to break a Tekkai (like Kaku's one) at its full potential, this new version even seemed able to cut through thick steel with ease and speed. According to Zoro, the whirlwind won't cease until its targets are sent to hell. In the Funimation subs, this is called Black Rope Dragon Twister.
Rengoku Oni Giri (煉獄鬼斬り Rengoku Oni Giri?, literally meaning "Purgatory Demon Slash"): A much stronger version of "Oni Giri", where Zoro stands still facing away from his opponent, waiting for him to come while posing in the stance of "Oni Giri" to then turn around and leap to the attacking opponent. This may be a way to make his already lightning-fast triple slash even more sudden. The effect of this attack leaves a X-shaped stream of blood when it cuts the opponent.
Ul-Tora Gari (極虎狩り(ウルトラがり) Uru Tora Gari?, literally meaning "Extreme Tiger Hunt"): A much stronger version of "Tora Gari", where Zoro does the same, he puts his hand swords over his mouth blade and swing them forth a forward descending slash with them. The aura generated by Zoro, also seems to be the same than the original Tora Gari, the aura of a tiger's head. While the original version was able to withstand against powerful human enemies like the Nyaban Brothers or Mr. 1, this enhanced version is able to match the strength of a dragon. The pun in the name is that the kanji pronunciation is a combination of the Japanese pronunciation of Ultra (urutora) and Tora (tiger in Japanese) making it sounds like Ultra Gari (Ultra Hunt) or Ul-Tora Gari (Ul-Tiger Hunt). It was first seen used against the Punk Hazard dragon. In the Viz Manga, this is called Ultra Tiger Hunt.
Nitoryu
Taka Nami (鷹波 Taka Nami?, literally meaning "Hawk Wave"): While airborne, creates a powerful gust of wind to knock opponents over. It was first used to wipe out some Baroque Works agents at Whiskey Peak. It can be done while standing on the ground. Zoro says this attack is very useful against a group of weak enemies. Takanami can mean "high waves" in Japanese. This attack was the first non-Santoryu technique Zoro uses in the series. This is called Hawk Wave in the Viz Manga and FUNimation dub.
Sai Kuru (犀回 Sai Kuru?, literally meaning "Rolling Rhino"): Zoro holds his swords in front of him pointing up, like rhinoceros horns, and spins quickly. This is called Rhino Cycle in the Viz Manga and Rhino Rampage in the English version of One Piece: Grand Battle! Rush! (dubbed by 4Kids). This was first seen being used against the Franky Family when they "ambushed" Zoro on the Going Merry. Pun with the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "cycle".
Nitoryu Iai: Rashomon (二刀流 「居合」 羅生門 Nitōryū Iai: Rashōmon?, literally meaning "Two Sword Style Draw and Resheath Technique: Castle Gate"): A dual sword drawing technique so powerful that it can split large obstacles in half. Zoro draws his swords, and sheathes them quickly, able to split two train carriages in half. Built in the year 789, the Rashomon, or Castle Gate was arguably the grandest and most famous gate in Kyoto. The name of this move probably comes from the double-gate/double-sword connotation, as well as being the 'grandest move' in his Nitoryu lineup. This was first seen being used to cut open two sea train carriages filled with Marines and World Government agents (none of the passengers were harmed at all). In the Viz Manga, this is called Two-Sword Style Castle Gate.
Nanajuni Pound Ho (七十二煩悩(ポンド)鳳 Nanajūni Pondo Hō?, kanji meaning "Phoenix of the 72 Earthly Desires"; furigana meaning "72 Pound Phoenix/Cannon"): Same principle as the 36 Pound Cannon. Holding his two swords horizontally above the shoulder, Zoro then performs a circular swing that launches two air compressed projectiles spiraling towards the target instead of one, making it twice as powerful. This was first seen being used against Kaku to counter his "Rankyaku: Hakurai" technique. The attack's name is actually a very heavy pun, it's written out as "Phoenix of the 72 Earthly Desires" in the Manga with a skewed reading attached that makes it "72 Pound Ho" when read out. Ho means both Cannon and Phoenix, however the attached Kanji is for Phoenix, making that the literal translation and the "Cannon" reading a Pun on that, both of which are correct. The "Pound" part is a skewed reading of the Kanji "Bonnou" for Earthly Desires, and it is referring to the Caliber of a Cannon (a 72 Caliber Cannon would fire a 72 Pound Ball). This is called 72 Pound Phoenix in the Viz Manga, and 72 Caliber Phoenix in the FUNimation dub.
Nigiri (弐斬り Nigiri?, literally meaning "Double Slash"): A stance where two swords are held parallel so that the tips are pointing to his right or left side, this move is like a pre-requirement to perform: Tourou, Outourou, Hirameki, Samon and Maguma. The pun in this is taken from sushi - the 'nigiri' in 'nigirizushi' roughly means 'hand-rolled'. This was first seen being used against Kaku. This is called Nigiri in the FUNimation dub.
Toro (登楼 Tōrō?, literally meaning "Climbing a Tower"): Two air-based projectile slashes are sent upwards while jumping as Zoro swings his swords in an upward motion. The pun in this is that 'toro' is an expensive cut of tuna for sushi; a more fatty cut than the normal. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called Tower Climb, and in the FUNimation dub, this is called Tohroh.
Otoro (応登楼 Ōtōrō?, literally meaning "Reply Climbing a Tower"): Two air-based projectile slashes are sent downwards while falling as Zoro swings his swords downwards, with the gravity complimenting the force of the attack. The pun in this is that 'ootoro' is an even more expensive cut of tuna for sushi; the underbelly which is said to be the most flavorful flesh. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called Tower Climb Return, and in the FUNimation dub, this is called Ohtohroh.
Hirameki (閃 Hirameki?, literally meaning "Flash"): Two air-based projectiles are sent forward after swinging both swords from the left or right side. The pun in this is that 'Hirameki' is a type of sushi buffet. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called Flash.
Samon (砂紋 Samon?, literally meaning "Sand Drawing"): Two air-based projectiles are sent diagonally down and to the left or right after swinging both swords from the left or right. The pun in this is obvious; it sounds like 'salmon', a common fish used for sushi. This was first seen being used against Kaku. In the Viz Manga, this is called Ripple.
Maguma (魔熊 Maguma?, literally meaning "Demon Bear"): A simple downward pound into the opponent with both swords. This was first seen being used against Ryuma. The name may be a pun on the Japanese pronunciation of "magma." In the Viz Manga, this is called Demon Bear.
Dai Gekken (大撃剣 Dai Gekken?, literally meaning "Great Fencing Sword"): Zoro pierces two of his swords into Franky's heavy nunchaku and hits the opponent with it. This was first seen being used against Oars. In the Viz Manga, this is called Great Shock Slash.
