Silence was something she was really good at. She didn't talk or hold full in depth conversations since she felt like she didn't really need to. Having a voice wasn't something that was always for a good, but this didn't mean she hated others who talked a lot. No, she chose not to talk most of the time unless her anxiety got the better of her. Sometimes that caused her not to talk as well, but it was kind of a rare occurrence. Wiggling her small tail, she walked over to a small clump of trees and decided this would be a resting spot. She sat down looking up to the sky once more. She always felt like that was where she was created. Even though she had Hania Shen and Enitan, she always felt like she was from another place or time.

The family was growing and she was just turning out to be the odd ball or the outcast of them all. She didn't hate it, but really enjoyed the thought of it. No one would really marvel or want to strive to be the weird child or the outcast.

She was trying to understand life as much as she could. She continued to blankly stare up at the sky keeping her silent persona. It was almost as if she was mute and probably would be seen as such to others.

There is nothing here...

For days, what seemed like at months almost, Oksana traveled the lands she was now placed in, seeking out a home to now make. She was gone from her guild now, and had to strike out on her own... make a new name for herself, and find something to do. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, she had absolutely nothing... and thus felt a insatiable anxiousness welling inside of her. Sure the landscapes were beautiful, and the lush woods were delightful, but... she yearned to work... to do what she was trained to.

Track down targets, and take from them what her clients desired.

Without clients... she obviously could not do this. Muttering to herself in a language not of the common folk, her brilliant emerald eyes slid side to side at the surroundings that she was enveloped by. Tree's, tree's, grass, and more tree's. Nature thrived here... the earth was so rich and nurtured... unlike the home she knew so well. It was frigid and cold, with ground as hard as boulders. This change of scenery was... interesting, to say in the least.

On her aimless wandering, the cerynei's heightened senses instantly picked up on the small, young foal, gaze fixating on the figure intently. Her gait paused to stare from afar, and slowly look around her for any sort of adult that may be looming about. In her home, parents were deathly protective of their young, and tolerated no stranger coming near them. Perhaps it was the same here... Still, she could smell no scent fresh of another mature horse. Was the kid abandoned or lost? Fluffy tail flicking lightly, she debated internally on how to go about this, slowly returning her attention to the filly. With a great slowness, she approached, senses keeping alert for any oncoming company, "Aye. Devuska." she called to the youngster, "what you are doing here alone?" her voice was thick with an accent {Russian}, and her sentence was clearly incorrectly said... but surely the filly understood her!

Blinking and staring was something Astraea was accustomed to more then anything since it was the two things she always did. It was no exception when she eyed the mare speaking with her because she has some very interesting things about her then others didn't have. Her look was different and she had an accent, but one thing she felt comfortable about was that she was a Cerynei. A Cerynei with a creepy looking mask on her chest that was giving off an orange glow. Even though she heard her question clearly she didn't know how to respond to it. She felt her anxiety creeping up causing her to shut her eyes very slowly and take in a deep breath. Once she did this, she opened her eyes up again and eyed the mare with much more ease then before. "I am wandering trying to find something to interest me.." She told her in a matter of fact way. She didn't talk much and that could be a bad thing in some situations, but she didn't care.

Turning from the mare, she began to slowly walk away from her. Her head held high as she walked unsure of where she was even going. She supposed that was the fun about exploring. To follow was the older mare's choice. If she wanted to spend time with the filly then she would, but otherwise this would be goodbye for the both of them. "Are you from a far away place?" She asked in a light tone as she continued walking.

Observing the little filly's behavior, Oksana barely let a brow crook, waiting for the kid to make a move or say a word. But that face gave off more than enough of an answer.. Hm.. perhaps she was a frightful little foal. Internally tutting such a misfortune, those brilliant jade eyes took one last scan around her before taking a few steps towards the young one again. As the gray clad mare spoke though, Oksana stood just before her, inspecting, and taking note of how similar the child looked to those of her own home.. but much more sleek. In the cold climate she was bred from, having a fluffy coat, or traits was key to survival. This one must have been adept for the more forgiving area's....

"Interesting, hm?" she repeated slowly, gaze darting about. Well.. this place wasn't all that, really. "Is parents going to be mad, yes?" she continued, "or being a trouble making girl and doing what want?" a slight look of approval crossed the adults face. Striking out on ones own was a good sign of independence and possible leadership; all important traits as well. As the filly began to move on, she remained put..

Hearing her questions made the filly stop moving and look up to the sky. Her parents wouldn't be worried since they trusted her and knew she would be safe no matter what. It was honestly more terrifying to be around others then to be alone. The reason being because you didn't know which one would or could turn on you. "My parents wouldn't be mad and I'm not a trouble maker." She simply said before turning back to look at the older mare wondering a little where she came from, but was hesitant to ask. She didn't ask very many questions and really only answered them.

"My father knows I like to explore. How else will I learn without going out into the world?" She said giving a small nod and turning away from her giving a few taps to the ground with her hoof. She didn't want to ask for company nor did it seem like the mare wanted any so she simply stayed where she was. Her form slowly lowering itself to the ground before plopping down with a light thud.

The little one's demeanor had Oksana interested, watching her attentively. Such trusting parents... much different from her own that were strict. But... they too let her to roam as a filly for awhile. Before becoming an adult one had to complete a difficult challenge and task that was quite dangerous... but was honorable and automatically made you a member of the herd. This young child's calm disposition was definitely something that would be useful for any assassin rank. It was something Oksana herself had been born with. A calm assertive energy and presence.

As Astrae settled onto the ground, Oksana took a few steps closer, nodding in agreement, "is good point. Can't learn without experience." she stated. Even when supplied with information, you could only do so much with it. You really had to live it to know it. Standing near the gray coated filly, she glanced around again, "Are wise for age, devushka."

She never met someone so odd, yet she shouldn’t be thinking like that since she wasn’t all that normal herself. As silence came over her again, she looked up at the sky wondering what being in her family would eventually lead to. What role will she have? Would they be proud of her? She didn’t know and what made her more confused was when her father told her she didn’t have a mother. Even Cai, Nevin and Nidawi had a mother, but not her or her brother. She felt like maybe she came from a different place. Hania told her she was a gift to them, but that only meant she came from somewhere. This made her want to know and want to figure it out. But something like that would have to wait until she was older and allowed to roam wherever she wanted to with no problem.

As she fought off her thoughts, she turned to look over at the other mare giving her blank stare. “I suppose I am wise..” She said lightly looking away up to the sky once more. There wasn’t much for her to say.
