The punk boil was breaking school rules by having his bike on campus. But he figured it wouldn't take long to load it up, so he hoped he didn't get caught. He headed into his room, grabbed another bag, and headed back out to the bike standing in front of the reaper dorms, shoving the back into the saddlebags. He had enough food to last him until he reached a town, spare clothes, his headphones-- Yeah, almost ready. Now he needed some snacks that he could reach easily enough--

Amphi had knew something was up with her boil when he had insisted on being alone for the night. She had agreed easily enough and had actually somehow managed to follow him and his activities as he went from his room to his bike, loading the thing up so full she knew he was going somewhere for long.
With that in mind, she went back to her own dorm, packed a couple of smaller bags and had grabbed as much of the snack foods and spookies she stocked for said boil and went down to his bike.
Stomping up to Roch, so he didn't get scared, she held out a bag of spookies and a expectant face. Her bags hanging on her shoulders and she cocked her head at him.
It was obvious that now she too...was going with him. No choice Roch!

He stared at her blankly, then took the spookies. "Thanks," he said, putting them in the front part of the saddlebags and mounting. "Um, I'm gonna be gone for a week or so--" He was trying to ignore the bags and the expectant look. "I'm just goin' to go see someone--it ain't like this is a vacation," he told her. "An' you--"

Amphi just continued to stare at him.
Obviously he wasn't getting that she was going with him, so she helped him along. Going over to the bike, she dropped her bags into the saddle packs, climbed on the monster and then put her helmet on.
Okay they could go now.

He hesitated, then groaned, tugging his own helmet on. "We gotta stop by Dad's," he told her, kickstarting the bike and heading off of campus before they got caught. He headed towards the town, wondering how he was going to get rid of her--and how he was going to get the tent off of his old man without dragging his old man along with him.
He pulled to a stop right next to the wall that he'd painted a mural of the Pumpkin King on, and waited for her to get off before dismounting.

Amphi just nodded and then wrapped her arms around him when he mounted. The trip was short and they were there in no time. The mermaid though had a sense that Roch was going to attempt to ditch her though and made sure to keep close to the bike...rather then Roch himself.
He couldn't leave her behind if she was still on the bike!!
GENIUS AMPHI GENIUS!
She just patted him on the back and scooted back. A silent gesture to let him know that she wasn't going to go anywhere and he could do what he needed.

"I can't get off unless you get off first," Roch said plainly. "Besides, I need to get the camping stuff from Dad--I need to get to the saddlebags too."

Well candlewax. There went her excellent plan. Sighing, she narrowed her eyes and pointed at him.
If you left her Roch, Just be prepared to sleep in the tent FOREVER.
Getting off, she slid to the ground and waited for the boil, looking around the area in case anyone decided that they needed a couple of kids to bang around.
She pointed at the building though and smiled. Would that mean seeing Austin as well?

He sighed and grabbed her hand, tugging her along behind him into the building. "Dad!!" he yelled. There was no response, other than Staccato tromping up to them, looking happy to see them. "Dad's out, huh?" he asked. "Then we should work fast," he said, heading for a metal locker in the corner and tugging out a tent bag and a few other things.
"Time to go!" he said, heading for the door--only to stop as Austin blocked his way. Austin looked a bit surprised to see them.

Amphi didn't have much to do since Roch had acquired no attention from a call to Austin. Instead she just continuously followed him around as he gathered a crap ton of other supplies.
Her arms laced behind her back again as she followed behind him. Only stopping when she bumped into his back when he stopped himself. Rubbing her nose, she peeked around him to see what had caused the reaper to stop and smiled.
Austin!
She waved shyly at the boil's father and looked around. Well now what? She bit her lip...What would Roch do?

"Goin' camping?" Austin asked after a moment of awkwardness.
"Um... actually... I was sort of planning to go home for a bit--" Roch hesitated, glancing around. "I shoulda asked--"
"Normally I would say I'm going with you," Austin said, ignoring that. "But you two... you sure you should be alone on a trip like that?" He looked at Amphi, then motioned her forward. "Come here, sunshine," he said.

Amphi stiffened before relaxing as she came out of behind Roch and smiled at the larger boil. She never had a real father figure before so...It was odd to compare the feelings for Austin and Vegas as her own...but she had hoped that if she had a father, he would be like a Roch, Austin, and Vegas mix. Yes.
Smiling up at Austin, she cocked her head stopping in front of him and stared.
She gave him a silent hello and reached for a hug. Because you know, FATHER LIKE FIGURE!

A look of surprise crossed Austin's face briefly before he hugged her, then he pulled back, looking at her seriously. "Darklin... you still can't speak?" he asked quietly. "I really--seriously--think you need to consult with more FEAR healers," he told her. "There's one in my old neighborhood--her name's Old Ms. Wheedle. Roch should be seein' her anyway," he said, glancing up at Roch.
Roch nodded.

Amphi hugged the man again tightly and nodded. Yes she still couldn't speak. It was sad that she still couldn't communicate and then looked over at Roch.
Did that mean she was going with him for sure now? She stepped back and took Rochs hand in her own and nodded. She didn't know how FEARhealers would help at the moment, especially since she didn't even think Cricket could help but...
Since both Roch and Austin agreed to it...
She just continued to nod her head.

"Dad, I'd rather leave her here--"
Austin looked at him and shrugged. "And what, call her every half hour? You really going to be able to focus on this trip? Kid, you call half the school every time we skip out for a week, don't tell me you don't. But..."
He headed into the back, grabbing a few things and tossing them into a plastic bag. "Take this with you," he said, shoving the bag into Amphi's hands. "Bug repellant, asprin, silver seeds, some other stuff. And be safe," he said, leaning down and kissing Amphi's forehead. "Don't forget to call me on the way."
