So what exactly is a "wildtype" Featherweaver?
The wildtype Featherweavers are the most common pattern of the Featherweavers. Like tigers or skunks or leopards of our world, most Featherweavers are born with this pattern. It's the "natural" state of Featherweavers.
If I breed two non-Wildtype Featherweavers, will I get Wildtype babies? What about if one of the parents is a Wildtype but the other is not?
Possibly. If neither parents is a Wildtype, there is still about a 10% chance of getting Wildtype babies, give or take some other factors. Having one of the parents be Wildtype significantly increases the chance (to about 40% - 50%)
If I breed two Wildtype Featherweavers will all their children be Wildtype?
Most likey. Though there will be about a 10% chance of non-Wildtype babies, though they still may have Wildtype elements (such as spots).
