Kira has returned and this time he is not going to be stopped by anyone. More than one Shinigami have grown bored and have taken to Ryuk's style and dropped them in random parts around earth. Light, who was not happy at all with his defeat knows this and with the help of Misa, Ryuk and Rem, he wants to gather together all the new Kira's and use them so he can once again accomplish being God of the New World.
The only catch is L has also returned and along with Mello, Near, the NPA, SPK, FBI ... even civilians who are still against Kira are working with him to stop Light Yagami once more. It is no longer a battle between who gets caught first - it is how can they stop each other? Light knows he won't get anywhere if people like L are against him and L knows that murdering is wrong, even if it was done for the right reasons. So one must be destroyed. But who will it be and how will it be accomplished??
