Rolling to see who will go first 1 Kailash, Uranus 2 Nakhti, Uranus Feel free to rp as usual randomizing betweeen 1 and 3 for each post, or to pre roll the results and go back and fill the posts in after the fact.Rolling reference for ease* For every post in a battle thread make sure you randomize between 1 and 3. The number you get will determine what happened during that turn. 1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time! 2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post. 3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post. * Keep track of your HP on the top of each post you make please! When someone reaches zero the battle is over. (You can post once or twice more if you'd really like the two to wish each other well or what not) If the dice decide to be jerks and the battle just keeps going on and on and on I may step in and ask for you guys to roll dice for some outside event to help out. Hopefully it won't be necessary

Nakhti Hp: 5 This opponent was one of his home, of Uranus, and one that he knew fairly well. Kailash. Training partner, rival, maybe even friend. But right now, he was the opponent. "You ready to lose?" the teen quipped. This would be a much fairer battle than the last one he had, at least he knew that Kailash knew what he was doing. It'd be more fun too. He lunged forward, aiming his blade, but was unsuccessful. Fine. No big deal. chirigami 1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time!

[Kailash] Oh, Nakhti. The green haired Page couldn't help but grin when he found out his opponent for this round. A Fellow Uranus knight, awesome. The training sessions, the spars, the friendly fights. It wasn't a bad relationship really, but there was always that competitive edge snaking its way in whenever the two were around one another. Kailash simple snorted in response to the younger's little taunt, "probably not as much are you are." Probably not the best of retorts, but he still grinned a little more as he slid on his helmet and got into position. Nakhti's first lunge in attack met with a dodge, Kailash's body twisting to avoid his opponent's blade but allowing him enough room and maneuverability to turn just a little more and thrust his arm out in a counter. His blade managed a hit on the other Page, giving one point to him. "Hah!" Yeah, this was totally going to be fun. moonlit-raven 2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post. hp: 4 damage done: 1

Nakhti Hp: 4 Lots of fun. He had attempted to dodge the other page's attack, but Kailash had been faster and the attack had struck true. Not that was a big surprise. Kailash did tend to be a bit faster than he was, so he really needed to focus. And aim. He sighed slightly, shaking his head. Focus Nakhti, focus. Get your head in the game.chirigami 1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time!

[ Kailash ] This was going a little better than his last round, though that had been more of a stroke of luck to have a forfeit in his favor. Really, it was easy to think this way with just how well he was doing - and in a sport with a dinky sword no less. Kailash felt himself like the shifting sand; stepping this way and maneuvering that way like one fluid object able to avoid what Nakhti was trying to throw at him. The green haired page couldn't help but chuckle as he picked off another point from his opponent, this time in the arm. "Now I'm both sure we both trained together in swords, or have you just gotten rusty?" moonlit-raven 2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post. hp: 4 damage done: 1

Nakhti Hp: 3 The green haired page was doing well, the very picture of what they had been taught to do, and while that pleased the dark haired page, he still had to frown at the teasing. Not that he didn't deserve it. "Oh, I just figured I'd give you a couple of free shots," he responded, as he lunged. This attack struck true, and Nakhti resisted the urge to do a bit of a victory dance. That could come later. chirigami 3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post.

[ Kailash ]<********. For once, Kailash was glad for the stupid hindering mask that was covering his face. That way, Nakhti couldn't see the scowl that had formed from the other Page's strike against him. Even he had to admit it was good. "I'll admit that was good," he then stated aloud, taking a few extra steps before he lunged himself. Once again, a small hit to his opponent, but at least he was consistent. "I'm not going to let it happen again." moonlit-raven 2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post. hp: 2 damage done: 1

Nakhti Hp: 2 "We'll see about that." He lunged again, and once more, his attack struck true. All of the hours of practice had helped, but he knew better than to let his guard down. Especially not against Kailash. It wasn't that unusual for their battles to be incredibly close, and this one was no different. It could go either way, and that was exactly how Nakhti liked it. There was no fun of playing a game that you knew you would win. chirigami 3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post.

[ Kailash - no HP left ] Well, this was a good example of speaking too soon. Kailash had tried to step out of the way, the manage another fluid dodge, but it didn't seem like the cards were in his favor today. The blade struck him clearly on the chest, excellent and precise. Just as the two of them had been taught. "Aa, well. s**t." Kailash couldn't but chuckle in his defeat, taking a step backwards once their round was over. He tore off his helmet, giving the other Uranus Page a lopsided grin after a heavy sigh from defeat. Disappointed in himself? Well, duh. He had hoped fencing would be a little more in his favor, but obviously not. "Good job," he told Nakhti, extending his hand out to the darker haired boy. "At least I lost to you, and not someone lame."

Wait. He had won? Sweet.
He took his helmet off as well, grinning at the other page. "That was a very enjoyable match." Balanced, perfect, and he knew that they had made an incredible showing for Uranus. Now he just had to take them to the top.
He took the boy's hand, shaking it. "Yeah, I would have had to have teased you if you would have gone out against someone lame." He chuckled. "Cheer for me?"
Nahkti knew that the other page would, and he grinned once more. "And don't worry. I plan to win this for us."
