Hey all, so this is going to be my log for getting in shape & such. I joined the gym this Sunday (which was like the best idea ever). Anyway! Gonna use this thread as kind of a gym journal (like when I go, generally what I do, etc) and to keep track of weight ;-; Although weight has never been the main thing...it's more the muscle/not having lots of fat.
Anyway, feel free to chat it up here.
Edit: Sexy and I Know It I never realized how horrifying the actual video was >_>

Sooo, first went to the gym this Sunday, kept it simple ish, just did a run on the treadmill (overall about 15-20 mins) After that worked all of my muscle groups with lifting/weight machines.
Had Monday off from working out since I didn't want to go gung ho into it and hurt myself by overworking. Was a good bit sore.
Tuesday (yesterday) I stopped by the gym after work. Got on the elliptical for a half hour, and it tells me I burned like 200+ calories. Don't know how accurate that is, but if it's true then yay. All the running/cardio machines have little TV's in front of them so you can watch s**t as you go. It's pretty awesome. I was watching Friends =D
After cardio, I did a little cool down on the elliptical, and then worked on mostly arms with weights. Did a little bit of leg work (inner/outer thigh and such)

I did a double take because I would have sworn that post said overall about 15-20 miles. And I was like huuuuuuuh?
I really need to get a scale so I can track how much I weigh...since you said your goal is less weight than it is fat (or size), do you have a goal size you want to fit into?

X3 DMS now you. it keeps me motivate when i see what you guys are up to. ^^ i don;t fee so alone. i need to get back on track of my work outs again! i'm glad to see you're off to a good start. (i would get a gym membership, but spending money there would be a waste for me seeing that my Dad has his own little personal gym down in the basement. xP i should start using his weight.)

Nah, just smaller really. I feel like I'll know when I'm the size I'm supposed to be. I'm probably more like a 6-8.

Wednesday I just did cardio, for lack of time/give muscles a bit of a rest. Did elliptical, ~2.5mi, including cool down.

It would just be nicer if more men wore sports bras.

That only works when there is not a man hanging out by the elliptical machines.
