The Fire Field: A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are hot to the touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FIRE type attacks. This field reduces ICE and WATER type attacks by 25 HP.

Alexa walked into the stadium and looked around. It was super hot and she fanned herself with her hand. "Oi Vincent.... looks like we got a good field for you.... but it's so hot." She said looking up at her giant dog. She then moved off to her trainer box and waited for Vincent to get onto the pillar platforms.
Vincent was happy with the heat and immediately jumped onto the pillars. They were hot on his paws so he jumped from each one while he waited for his opponent.

Lenore walked into the stadium, sweating lightly. Mephistopheles floated down to the field below.
Floating above one of the pillars, he bowed. "Greetings. It's been a while. If you do not recall, my name is Mephistopheles, or Mephisto if you like. Good luck."

Mephistopheles' eye began to glow, and a spectral flame burst into being near the arcanine.

Alexa waved to Lenore and then watched the battle.
Vincent jumped to another pillar avoiding the attack. "Hello!" He barked wagging his tail, "I remember Mephisto! I'm Vincent!" He then jumped towards the ghost with his mouth open and flames about his teeth.

The flames seared the duskull, even as he phased out of the arcanine's jaws. His eye continued to glow as another spectral flame burst next to Vincent.

Vincent was already jumping to the next pillar as his paws were getting a little hot. So it was easy to dodge the spectral flames that Mephistopeles kept trying to use. He jumped around some more as he circled around. Finally he reached a point where he could attack once more with a Fire Fang.

Mephistopheles phased out of Vincent's grip. The duskull's eye continued to glow as another blue flame erupted beside the arcanine.

One of Vincent's paws was caught on fire by the attack. He stared down at it for a moment and then blew out the flame. He looked back up at Mephisto and wagged his tail. "Is it your birthday?!" He asked before biting down with flame teeth.

Vincent was, unfortunately, not bright enough to release the shadow ball was an attack. Instead he jumped at the ball and tried to catch it with his mouth. Instead it knocked his head back making him blink. What kind of ball was that?! He heard his trainer sigh and figured he needed to attack again. So he raced forward to bite Mephisto with another Fire Fang.

Vincent again tried to catch the shadow ball having not learned his lesson. Not that he ever really learns his lesson. So again it knocked back his head resulting in more brain damage in some interesting looking hair and a kinda burnt looking face. He once more lit his mouth on fire and tried to bite on the ghost.

Mephistopheles phased out of the arcanine's grip again. Red light enveloped the duskull, and he was returned to his decrepit pokeball. Lenore waved as she left.
