Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

Lenore walked into the stadium covering her nose, Mephistopheles at her side. The duskull floated down to the street below.

Naomi had almost gagged as she quickly made her way into the stadium and to the trainer stand. She wondered how she got stuck with this field as she looked at all the debris and the condition of everything.
Ridley didn't seem to mind as she gave him the sign to go down to the field. With a bark and a nod of his head, he jumped from broken wall, to broken wall until his paws touched the street.

When it was decided that she was first, Naomi swallowed hard and prepared herself for the battle. Why was she always so nervous? She was better than she was when she first started. Shaking it off, she looked down to Ridley, who just looked to the Pokemon in front of him. "Okay Ridley, let's do this thing! Iron tail... now!"
Ridley barked a reply to Naomi, "Right!" With that, he charged toward the Duskull in front of him. Getting closer, he lept into the air, his tail glowing a metalic shine. Spinning in the air, he began to plumet toward his opponent.

Mephistopheles was knocked towards a building,but he phased through it. He bowed as he floated back into the street. "Greetings. My name is Mephistopheles, and I will be your opponent for the duration of this battle. Good luck." With that, his eye began to glow and a pillar of blue flame burst from his hand towards the lucario.

When the Duskull bowed and greeted him, Ridley bowed his head quickly to the other. "I am sorry for the sudden attack, my trainer tends to get nervous and rushes things. It is a pleasure to meet you Mephistopheles, I am Ridley and I do hope we have a great battle." He calmly replied to the floating ghost. With that, he crouched, preparing for his attack.
When the Duskull launched the pillar of blue flame, Ridley tried to leap out of the way, but he couldn't move away in time. He yelped lightly when the flames surrounded him. It did no damage, but it did manage to leave its effect. Once the flames dissipated, he shook his head, looking back to his opponent. Digging his paws into the ground to prop himself, he braced himself as he opened his mouth wide. In front of him, a turquoise ball of energy began to form in front of it. When the ball was big enough, he sent the ball hurdling toward his opponent.

Mephistopheles phased out, allowing the orb of potent energy to bypass him. Phasing back in,he fired a beam of electricity at the lucario.

Ridley winced when he was affected, once again, by the burn. He was able to shake off the effect in time to catch the electric beam heading his way. With that, he quickly jumped out of the way. When his paws touched the ground again, he began racing toward the ghost. As he got closer, one of his paws started to glow purple and he leaped at the Duskull, swatting at it with his paw.

Knowing it was coming, the Lucario braced himself for the pain of the burn he had received. When the field of light appeared, he prepared himself for a hit, but instead, it left him in a daze. Not sure of what happened, his mouth opened again to let out another Dragon Pulse.
