Damn! I haven't even gotten Dawnguard yet!
I heard people saying this expansion looks boring and stupid, but to me, this is exactly what I felt was missing from Skyrim. I'm totally into Sims because you can build your own homes and have families, and it's like Sims only with better graphics, an actual storyline, and DRAGON SHOUTS! FTW!
This- to me- is just what I've been waiting for! Can't wait til my dad caves in and lets me get an Xboxlive so I can download this! Gaaaaah! So excited! : D

Edit: Also, the whole adopting children is something I'm totally into. After discovering you couldn't adopt kids from the orphanage, I was all, "DF? LAME." Now it can finally happen! Although, I'm not sure if you get the kids from off the streets, the orphanage, or both...

Pfft, just think of all the things that could go hideously wrong when you put a child into the capable hands of three professional murderers and a vampire (in my case at least).

Though that might not happen at all if you have to be married to a character to adopt, seeing as my character has kind of just been chillin' with Lucien's ghost rather than finding a living person to marry (and prefers to keep it that way, haha).

Still, the thought of a child under the same roof as Elda, Lucien, Cicero, and Serana is priceless.

Yes the silver xbox live account is free.... But in order to get the ms points you will need to pay for both dawnguard and the upcoming Hearthfire dlc will run you 25$ + tax for where ever you live.

Oh, the laugh I had from this.... I haven't played Skyrim much on the 360. I wanted to get it for the PC, so I'll probably do that.

This made me laugh! I'm totally going to start a new game with these characters all living with me then adopt a child. It will be priceless...

Love your Avatar and your siggy btw! o:

Many thanks on all three accounts, haha. I do aim to please~. heart

But indeed, my little group is probably the single most ill quipped group to deal with children since Attila and the Huns. I'd be surprised if the poor kid lasted a week of Cicero's insane cackling, Lucien's ominous presence, Serana's ancient, bloodthirsty eyes, and Elda's all around odd behavior... rofl

It's just one of those things... xd

I haven't played the PC version, but I hear it's a blast. I've only got the Xbox one ironically.

Greetings;

I just sort of hope that there will be no limit to all the stuff you can have built into the home. Fish Hatcheries? Green houses? A Farm? just have it become a massive castle...And what of styles? I would personally love to have my old house from Morrowind back-Telvanni...Giant mushroom spires...Even if it had to have spiral staircases to replace levitation...Or if they just allowed you a single spell to move about the home and no where else would be kind of nice too...Just not too into the whole normal house set-ups that we have been kind of stuck with since Oblivion. Some nice houses to be sure, but still. Oh, and does anyone remember the Raven's rock colony from the Morrowind Bloodmoon expansion? You were able to pick your own plot of land from one of three places, then the design, as I recall. Was pretty sweet too.

Oh. And I suppose adopting children will be alright too. Wonder what the options will be for that. Never see any Argonian or cat children, do we? Would imagine the caravans or the Argonian embassy would have at least a few here and there. Oh well. Elves, you don't see elven children either.

Thank you...

Greetings;

Ooooh. Now that I think of it, a house boat might be sort of cool too. All you saw in the ads was for like a spot in the woods, what about on a mountain or by the sea, an island or a big ship? I don't have high expectations for this, the boat is moslty just something that could be given up in the negotiation process, but still. Other locations would be nice ^_^ A place you would be less likely attacked by a dragon or have giants pass through with their mammoths...I have seen movies where people build mansions in the path of an elephant route...Not going to happen in Skyrim probably, but still. Would't want them just sort of passing by and attacking the guards or my family if I let them live there instead of my primary house in Whiterun.

Thank you...
