Spark: Super-intelligence
Weakness(es): Outside of the Arsenal armor, Graves is a regular human. The armor itself can withstand a great deal of punishment, but it is not foolproof. It can and will run out of power, if Graves isn't careful.
Other Skills: Even before his Spark powers awoke, Graves was an amazing roboticist, and just as well was knowledgeable in many other fields of study. His strength is with technology, however, and he has an almost preternatural understanding of any piece of tech he can get his hands on. He's a cutthroat businessman, keeping Hyperion at the top of the technological markets. And lastly, the Arsenal Powered Armor: capable of flight, energy beams, energy shields, scanning in various modes, as well as an assortment of gadgets for peacekeeping.

Physical Description: Graves is a slim man, almost looking frail, but surprisingly well built anyways. Possessed of slightly pale skin, well-kept dirty blonde hair, luminous blue eyes, and soft features, Graves is usually described as 'pretty' as much as handsome. Always sharply dressed, and even at work or at play his attire is high quality.
Personality: A traditional gentleman adapted to modern times, Graves is able to enjoy the finer things his wealth allows him, but without letting his affluence get to him. Graves is one of the kindest people you could ever meet, always cordial, always seeking to make things better for all involved. This extends to his status as Arsenal: for the betterment of both regular humans and Sparks, Graves toils for the prosperity of humanity. Never gives up in his endeavors, even if it seems hopeless; sometimes applies to his work, and Graves is known to become engrossed to the point of obsession with something that catches his fancy.
Bio: Nathaniel Winston Graves was born to Adelle and Edmond Graves in London, England. At least, that's what he was told as he grew up. However, Nathaniel often wondered why he did not look like his father...and one day, somewhere in his teens, Nathaniel learned the truth. Edmond Graves was his father, but not biologically. He'd been convinced through a donor, as Edmond was sickly and consequently impotent. And how did Nathaniel learn this? The donor, one Gideon Marshal, had passed away, and in a video will, left Nathaniel control of Hyperion Industries.

At first, Nathaniel did not know what to do with such a monumental burden, especially since at the time Hyperion was starting to fail. He might have had designs to run his own business one day, but nothing like one of the world's leading tech manufacturers. However, the young man eventually decided that he'd run Hyperion efficiently. He reasoned that their tech could not only heal his ailing father, but better the world as a whole. And so Graves rise to the top began.

It was in the midst of this - in the middle of Graves designing of a robotic suit that would allow his father to walk as well as remain stable - that the Spake Wave occurred. He didn't pay it any more mind that he needed to, and went back to work. Nathaniel, before frustrated at this impossible task, steadily began to make breakthroughs not only in his blue prints, but for technology as a whole, and well beyond that. It was then realized something changed within him, as it was with people all over the world, given rumors.

Soon enough, the Arsenal armor was born, and the rest is history.
Miscellaneous: Has some trouble holding his liquor. Great in bed, but lackluster when courting a women.

Spark: Super speed, mid-level super strength and invulnerability
Weakness(es): Alex can hold her ground with the heavy hitters, but not for long. Her strength and invulnerability only goes so far, and a big enough hit can hurt her like she was a normal person. Also, she has no defenses against psychic assaults, magic, or energy attacks. If she's not dodging and attacking, there's a good chance Alex is getting beat down. She requires an increased caloric intake replenish her energy after prolonged activity, and cannot maintain full speed for too long.
Other Skills: Alex is a practitioner of the martial art style Baji quan, as well as in the use of various firearms.

Physical Description: The most notable - and most obvious - things about Alex is her androgynous looks. She is often mistaken for a young man, instead of the legal aged woman she actually is. She's at peak physical performance, only enhanced by her superpowers. Often found wearing leather jackets, jeans, boots, and other 'male' attire, but will often randomly switch things up with a blouse, skirt, or heels.
Personality: At first glance, Alex doesn't appear too out there. In her capacity as Graves's secretary (and 'bodyguard') she's extremely professional. And off-duty, she a generally positive, somewhat adventurous person. However, when it comes to a challenge or a fight, Alex is nothing but eager to step up to the plate. She's confident in herself and her skills, enough so that it nearly borders on cockiness. Is always quick to act, not one to waste time deliberating.
Bio: Revealing himself as a Spark made Nathaniel Graves a target for the extreme anti-Spark groups, as minimal as they were. After numerous attempts at his life, his former secretary quit. And it was looking a replacement that he met Alex.

The interview went well, and Graves quickly hired Alex. Things seemed to be going perfectly...until the night of another assassination attempt. Nathaniel would've certainly died that night, had Alex not appeared out of nowhere, taking out the hitmen literally in the blink of an eye. When questioned about how she did that, Alex's reply was this:

"Don't worry about it, Mr. Graves. Any of it. Just known that I'm here to help in whatever way that I can." Just who is this mysterious secretary?
Miscellaneous: Alex is fully aware of her androgynous appearance, but does not care too much about it. She can be extremely feminine if she pleases. Favorite color is red. Often seen snacking. Drinks like a fish.

Physical Description: Despite being nearly forty, Merrick retains the look of a man in his prime. He is in peak physical condition, all intimidating muscle. His hair, a strange shade of silver-white, is natural, though it was once black as a youth.
Personality: Merrick Frey is a no-nonsense individual, and holds duty, honor, and justice above all else. Order and the law mean everything to him, and he strives to uphold it. Though he may be overbearing, threatening, and little fun at parties, Merrick truly has only the best intentions at heart. He selflessly serves his city, doing everything in his power to preserve peace. He’s a father to those under his command, tough love as it may be. And he is capable of relaxing and unwinding…but chooses to do so sparingly. Furthermore, he does not open up emotionally, keeping everyone at a safe distance; even though who’d consider themselves his closest friends admit that they know very little about the man. Doesn’t take being undermined well, and can be very vindictive, especially if provoked.
Bio: Merrick Frey is a Quantum city native, hailing from the Sommerfield neighborhood. As most who lived in that part of town, life was hard growing. It didn’t help matters that his father was a deadbeat who walked out his mother, and said mother was a terrible alcoholic. But as easy as it was for one to slip into the dark side that Sommerfield offered, Merrick resisted.

It was due to his grandfather, Mercer Frey, a WWII veteran. During her rare bouts of sobriety, Merrick’s mother would often regale her son with tales of her father, the war stories that he brought back with him from the Pacific Theater. This is what inspired Merrick to not fall in with violence and crime; when he was of age, Merrick joined the military. With a drive unlike any other, Merrick climbed the ranks as quickly as was possible, proving to be the model soldier. Eventually, he was tapped for a Special Forces unit, serving his country by partaking in numerous operations…most of them of the cloak-and-dagger sort.

However, it would not last, for after a particular mission that Merrick refuses to elaborate on, Merrick left the military life behind, deciding to return to his home city and serve the people as an officer of the law. Once again, he was highly successful; though this time he seemed reluctant to accept promotions. When he was eventually offered the position of Commissioner, he declined, referring fellow officer Roxana Ortega for the position. She took it, and Merrick seemed content.

And then the Spark Wave occurred.

It was madness, the first year or two as people with powers began popping up. Quantum was in panic, and the police were pushed to the breaking point. They managed to persevere through this time, though it became clear that law enforcement was terribly ill-equipped to handle the threat of superhuman criminals. Merrick proposed a special police unit equipped specifically to handle the threat of Sparks, and though it took he and Ortega a tedious amount of time to sway the necessary minds for funding, Merrick’s idea came to fruition, and the Guardians were born.
Miscellaneous: For unknown reasons, carries a katana with him almost all the time. Never uses it, however.

Name: Commissioner Roxana ‘Roxy’ Ortega

Physical Description: Many are fooled by Roxana’s slight form, and they tend to pay for it dearly. Lithe and strong, Roxy is more than capable that laying the hurt on those that assume her a delicate flower. It should be expected, however, given the woman’s mishmash of Latino ancestry. Expounding on that, Roxy’s body seems to have chosen the best traits of her heritage to use, giving the woman luscious curves and that desirable exotic look.
Personality: When it comes to her job, Roxana could be considered almost as no-nonsense as Merrick. However, that’s largely where their similarities end. Roxana is a woman with a zest for life, living every day to its fullest. While on the job she’s serious, but the moment she’s free she lets her hair down and tries having some fun. At the same time, however, she’s also very down-to-earth, enjoying tests of her knowledge and mind. She seeks making connections with those she meets, hoping to leave them a bit of advice or wisdom. Very honest, both with herself and others, the only thing that could be said she’s often oblivious to being her sex appeal; she honestly doesn’t think much of herself, and is often surprised when people praise her looks or alert her to the droves of admires that follow her.
Bio: Roxanna came from an affluent family, though while not exactly rich, provided her with an easy life during her early years. She didn’t take it for granted, and she enjoyed being able to pretty much take whatever path she wanted with ease…but for a long time, Roxy didn’t have a clue what she was going to do with her life.

It took a random trip to the gun range with her friend and his father, a Quantum police officer, and meeting one Merrick Frey (by the virtue of, as a novice, somehow nearly matching him on the gun range) did she decide that she’d join the police force. Roxana signed up, made it through the academy with flying colors, and after some time became a detective; she was a decent cop before, but her abilities in her new position made her notoriety skyrocket. It eventually led to her being tapped for the position of Commissioner – recommended by Merrick Frey – and, accepting that, the creation of the Guardians.
Miscellaneous:Has an ongoing and purely physical relationship with Merrick.

Destruction - Elemental offensive spells (flame, frost, shock)
Conjuration - Summoning of ethereal weaponry and knowledge of their use
Restoration - Healing, warding, and protection
Illusion - Altering the mind and perception of the physical world
Weakness(es): As with any young Spark, his age hinders upper level usage of his abilities. However, strangely it works out that this is due to Andros being too strong; without proper concentration, spells can and will backfire, likewise if he attempts something in an fatigued state. Illusion spells are less effective on those with strong minds, as well as those that know they're being affected. Arcane energies make him hardier than the average human, but not by much.
Other Skills: Competent in array of sports, including karate. Self-trained free-runner.

Physical Description: Andros is at a prime fitness level for someone one his age, as well as being a little taller than most early teenagers. His svelte form is usually clad in baggy, comfortable clothing, and can often be found with a pair of headphones on his person. Aside from often being assumed to be a little older sometimes, there is nothing else quite notable about Andros.
Personality: Andros is your typical youth: outgoing, fun-loving, cheerful beyond belief. Doesn't like school or chores, would rather watch cartoons, play video games, and listen to music all the way up. However, one should not mistake his optimism for naivety; Andros is well aware that the world is gray and not just white and black, but is simply inclined to give the white much more credence. Can be mischievous, prone to playing pranks, but understands there's a time and place for such levity...usually.

As Nightshroud, Andros adopts a darker, more brutal demeanor. It's mostly an act to intimidate criminals, but it also has the effect of making him act more assertive than in his civilian identity.
Bio: One could say that Andros's life before the Spark Wave wasn't anything special. And on first glance, it wasn't. He the youngest of a typical nuclear family: a hard-working father, a loving mother, a cool older brother, a beautiful and slightly older sister, and of course, the family dog. To anyone looking on from the outside, they never would've expected anything from the Valiant family. However, behind the cheery suburban lifestyle and the trials and tribulations a seven year old faced, Andros and his family held a very important secret. They weren't just a family, but a clan. The Valiants were the last in line of ancient lineage of magicians.

Yes, eons before the Spark Wave changed the face of the planet, there were forces at play far beyond the scope of the large majority of humanity. And Andros's family was proof of that. All of them were competent magic-users (even the dog, actually the family familiar spirit)...everyone except for Andros. The aptitude for magic, especially in a bloodline specifically bred for strong powers like the Valiant, became present at a young age. But for the first seven years of his life, Andros showed no magical potential whatsoever. Though he didn't much seem to care, it worried his family a bit. However, they wouldn't have to worry as his seventh birthday came and went. A few weeks after that party, the Spark Wave occurred.

Most cases of emerging powers began occurring a few days after the wave onwards. For Andros? His latent magical awoke that very night. Ever since then, his parents (and his dog) have been drilling Andros in the arcane arts....to his detriment, however. Andros was much more concerned with other things to be worried about magic. It was only when his school was attacked one day, and he was not only given a first row seat to a pitched battle between a superhero and villain - Kage and Dr. Corrosive, respectively - but also aiding hero with the Doctor's capture, did that flame of heroism begin to burn.

Kage was a mysterious hero, clad in samurai armor, who wandered the night to meet out justice. Andros took his cue from that and the Japanese animation he so admired, playing the part of a ninja called Nightshroud. And more or less, the rest is history.
Miscellaneous: Was momentarily a sidekick to the Kage, until the adult grew tired of the boy; Nightshroud is now working solo, but desire to become a sidekick once more. However, more than anything, he wishes to start his own team.

Alias: Nicotine, currently thinking of a different one since she doesn't like the smoke related one.

Spark: Vapor manipulation, which is most obviously observed through her disappearing or dodging an attack by becoming a light mist. Felicia knows quite well that her spark isn't offensive at all, and much prefers it that way since she loves subterfuge.
Weakness(es): Weather elements are a big weakness to her, especially if it's a drought or hot spell since it raises the concentration required to switch between her vapor state and solid state.
Dehydration is another and a far more serious one, since it could cause her to faint from the strain of trying to switch or anything else involving vapor. Especially if the switch is done on reflex.
Aside from the vapor power, she's like any normal spark strengthened human and can die from bullets and physical trauma...mental trauma as well though that'd probably be a little harder.
Other Skills: Her years within the army have turned her into a decent marksman, along with being an okay spotter. If subterfuge isn't an option at all, she'll happily be providing cover to her mates.

Physical Description: Despite her normal business attire and the various suits she wears when out and about, she's really not that slim. If she had to pick, Felicia would say she has a sinewy frame. Which she'd profusely thank the strict routine she followed and picked up from the army for exercise. She's also quite aware that she favors a masculine style of dress more than feminine though she can't help it... She just loves how suits hug her body. Outside of suits, the rest of her clothing tends to be tight cause loose clothing is bad for potential fights. Normally, she tends to wear boots or flats but whenever the occasion calls for it she has several pairs of three inch heels to wear.
Personality: Tends to be calm and collected during missions among other things, though tends to have a high kill count among the Corps despite the fact that they're the good guys. Whenever confronted about it, she mutters something about how the villains shouldn't've made threats that push people. How hard is that to understand, though she personally hates being sent out on patrol during the day. Unknown to the Corps., she's fiercely loyal to her family...or what's left of her family and will destroy any threat to them.
Bio Most of her youth was spent doing normal girl things, playing house, dress up and various other thing. Being pampered was at the very top since she was the youngest child in her family though that came crashing down around the time she was sixteen. That was the year her parents died in a car wreck, and she ended up moving in with her eldest sister which was definitely not easy with getting responsible. Yet Felicia handled it rather well and met that responsibility with getting a job to help support Mirabelle, her young niece, and herself. This was all well and dandy, for a year then Felicia's job decided to disappear.

That resulted in a shock on par with her parents death, though it came with a mixed feelings from Mira and herself. In the end those feelings proved to be positive after Felicia convinced her sister that they were both able to provide for themselves and the toddler. It quickly became apparent to the both of them that Mira couldn't support entirety of her family while Felicia looked for a job. Maybe if Felicia was able to snatch up any job rather quick, but they received no such luck. So Felicia made the only choice that was available to her, well the most immediate choice available, which was to enlist in the military. It'd get her off of her sister's financial support and she'd still be able to visit them when she was on leave. Hell, she'd be able to even send money should her sister need it.

That decision, her first real adult decision, birthed mixed results. She did like it, and was looking forward to completing her allotted time and just leave after that...but it'd be far to simple if such a thing was true. It was during her fifth year of service when she was approached by a rather unsavory group of soldiers about some business they needed her help with. They were willing to compensate her quite nicely, and she might've accepted their original amount if one of them hadn't threatened Mirabelle and Danielle. That had a several unfortunate side effects, though none of the unsavory soldiers realized it at the time. Sure it might've gotten Felicia to be their fall girl, but while she was quietly discharged she was plotting about several things. The most important ones involved moving herself, her sister, and her niece far away...which was possible with the nice chunk of change she twisted away from the group. The devious one was far more important and ended up eating up the rest of her money since it involved hiring an assassin or two to hunt down the group of soldiers that propositioned her.

She was ecstatic when she received a call from an unlisted number a year later, in her Quantum city apartment no less, and was told to bring the rest of the pay to an unspecified location. Who could've guessed that when she was finishing her business with the assassin's people that the heavens would come alive and rain down onto the world. She certainly couldn't, and she certainly couldn't believe that she had become a spark until she began disappearing and reappearing randomly. After several years with IC, she became the old leader's left hand and was given the opportunity to take charge after a potential scare frightened the old leader into retiring. While she doesn't have much of an opinion on the topic, she can understand why her old boss got scared. Recently, well more recently than her taking over IC and turning it into what it is currently, is the fact that she got married. Needlessly to say, it surprised...no one. Well no one at IC because they didn't even know she was seeing someone, or that she has a wife. Sure they could speculate but officially she's not married, just like how she doesn't exist.
Miscellaneous: Initially the disappearing thing was triggered by reflex but through practice and some help from the Infinity Corps she's now able to do it at will, though it sometimes lapses...like whenever there's a sniper that hasn't been dealt with. She's rather proficient when it comes to sleight of hand, something she picked up during the army to pass the time when on stationary guard duty. Biggest secret she has about her spark, is the fact that she doesn't leave finger prints behind.


Weisses Gekritzel

Name: Drago
Alias: Imp
Age: 53
Gender: Male
Height/Weight: 6' 183 lbs.

Alignment: Neutral
Allied With: Infinity Corps
Spark: He can apparently grant wishes. He'd say he's a reality warper with a trend towards altering probability.
Weakness(es): If his alias isn't indication enough, some checking has revealed that his wish granting seems to always have consequences albeit good or bad, he's not quite sure what affects it. His age is another.
Other Skills: Despite his age, he is still lethal. He was after all in the Spetsgruppa A before being jailed.

Physical Description: An average looking Russian man, if a bit grizzled, and has acquired a couple of tattoos from prison.
Personality: He's been through a lot and seems to have come to terms with it. He's a developed conscience, coupled with experience.
Bio: Originally a KGB interrogator, suspected torturer as well, he was jailed after some hostage incident a year after he joined the KGB's Alpha group. When he was freed, he immigrated to Quantum and opened a hobby shop. Unofficially, he's Felicia's right hand.
Miscellaneous:Always has a certain flask on his person that he can be seen drinking from occasionally. While he's not entirely sure, Drago thinks his spark isn't that powerful. However he doesn't really have something to measure up against so he's just guessing.


Name: Scheherazade Mokri [redacted]
Alias: Elve
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Height/Weight: 5'6" 124 lbs

Alignment: Neutral
Allied With: Infinity Corps
Spark: Fulgurkinesis
Weakness(es): She tends to keep things bottled up and Drago has noted that this may affect her ability. Despite being a good marksman isn't as good as Felicia is up close and will often try to escape and get into a better position.
Other Skills: Mokri is somewhat decent at drawing, though it's more of a side hobby.

Physical Description: A Persian woman she tends to be rather unassuming in dress and actions. Tends to always have a bit of make up on when she's not working, and always carries a soulder holster to make use of her concealed weapon permit since she wears jackets often.
Personality: The most introverted of the bunch. She's very protective of her past and secrets.
Bio: A military sniper that was in her second tour of duty when her spark manifested while she was being lead to an enemy prison, which helped her escape. Moved to Quantum after she was discharged under DADT to get started on her life while rooming with her childhood friend.
Miscellaneous:No noticeable quirks.


Name: Trevor S.
Alias: NS (Neutron Star)
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Height/Weight: 5'10" 168 lbs

Alignment: Hero
Allied With: Infinity Corps
Spark: Gravity manipulation.
Weakness(es): Trevor doesn't exactly do well with betrayal from a trusted friend, and still feels his Dad's death from time to time causing sorrow. He will tend to feel a greater amount of fatigue with the more objects he has to alter.
Other Skills: Excels at close combat and is even a considerable opponent without his gravity spark.

Physical Description: An American that tends to keep up to military dress code except his fashionable beard, stating some reason about how it's the first time it isn't patchy. Trev has three claw mark scars going down the left part of his mouth over his lips, he also has short black hair and amber eyes.
Personality: A nice friendly kid, but, considering everything, also probably has some deep spots that can prove to be bad. Trevor occasionally lapses back into the depression he felt when his father was ripped apart but will snap out of it if the situation is dire enough.
Bio: A rather basic history, did well in school and joined the US navy with the intention of becoming a Seal. Discharged before his first official mission when his spark decided to manifest, ended up joining a PMC and was out of the country when his father died which caused him to dropped everything and return to the US.
Miscellaneous: Trev moved to Quantum since his hometown contained too many memories. Currently in therapy to deal with his father's death.

Alias: Miracle

Height/Weight: 5'8" 150 lbs

Alignment: Hero

Spark: EM manipulation
Weakness(es): A much harder to kill human, since he's improving his bullet deflecting skill. However, his stamina to keep one or more spark 'techniques' active causes problems. So far he can only have two active techinques while at their 'peak' or three that work at a decent level.
Other Skills: He was a CC runner back in high school, and still keeps in pretty good shape. Conrad knows self-defense but it's not up to the military or spec op standard that Infinity holds.

Physical Description: Looks pretty normal in terms of appearance; dark auburn hair, grey eyes, fair skin.Tends to dress somewhat simply and is ususally seen with a leather jacket that's important to him.
Personality: A pretty honest and wholesome guy, seems to get rather rash and aggressive when going through emotional duress. Tends to exhibit a protective side to those that can't protect themselves
Bio: A quantum police officer that was just minding his business, not wanting anything to do with Sparks until his sister died in some villain's grab attention. Outside side of that, mental and physical trauma are still just as viable but her spark seems to have imparted some sort of physical resilience making her hardier.
Other Skills: She's been practicing how to pick locks, and while not quite up to the normal IC standard, Nicotine tells her she has potential.

Physical Description: The daughter of a Mediterranean woman and an Polynesian man, Sandra's something of a dark eyed, dusky beauty. Much like her mother only without the lighter hair since she had inherited her father's black locks. Her clothing style seems to be a bit of a chic tomboy, though they always seem to cover any scars she's gained through 'training'.
Personality: While somewhat young and rather innocent to everything she'd been training for, which has Nicotine somewhat concerned, though she doesn't quite believe that she's as innocent as Nicotine believes her to be. That sentiment seems to be quite consistent with the rest of the known Corps. sparks, though she hopes the teasing will let up. Sandra didn't deal with the teasing in the best of ways, though she's learned how to better deal with them since she's left high school. Despite all the rookie remarks, and everything else, Sandra wants to start doing actual heroics with IC...something that Nicotine finds rather humorous since it seems to be driven by some sort of duty and valor.
Bio: Sandra wasn't really sure how she came to join IC, cause honestly she didn't even know they kind of existed. Sure she might've heard in the news, now and again, about a couple of sparks playing hero but she never equated them with IC. She'd later come to eat those words when she decided to join IC, instead of the marines like she was originally planning, and she soon found herself in some part of the world training under some older soldier along with a group of other young people. She guessed that they were sparks, though she honestly wasn't sure since she hadn't really bumped into another spark. Either way she strove to do her best, and make her veteran of a mother proud, causing her to return to Quantum earlier than intended since her recruiter had must've seen something that warranted it. Currently, she's still in Quantum but officially apart of IC and she hopes that she'll be able to go on a mission of her soon, she's getting a little tired of playing tag along though she also relishes the experience garnered from the more senior members. She's recently return from out of the country, and after making a visit to her mom, came back to Quantum at Nicotine's behest. The behest part slightly worries Sandra somewhat, though she isn't sure why.
Miscellaneous:While not entirely comfortable with discussing it, she's recently been asking Nicotine if she could help Sandra locate her father.

Spark: Manipulation of the dark, usually done in three obvious ways:
Tendrils- tentacle like things which will manifest out of the shadows and darkness, she often uses this variation of her power as her main attack. All of her 'victims' were ripped apart by these shadow tendrils and their rib cage crushed.
Constructs- Rarely ever seen, and she still doesn't quite understand what triggers them, but she does know that it is incredibly hard. Basically she'll 'summon' several shadowy...goblins or imps. She isn't quite sure what the hell they are, but she does know that they vicious and down right psychopathic sometimes. Eve tends to summon these in groups of three or five when overwhelmed to the point that she'd rather die than be caught. It was once such occasion that Eve discovered this, when she tried to shoot herself in the head when an assassination went wrong and the traffickers surrounded her.
Blending- A definite utility skill, this allows her to seep into shadows and darkness like how her tendrils seep into reality. Though with two varying degrees; darkness disappear completely from sight while shadow provides partial invisibility. Eve used this exclusively when she's infiltrating things, though she does still rely on her LaPo and BKA training when she has to incapacitate things. Her sister, Max, has noted that Evelin will use this ability unconsciously when she's under distress and she can't hide normally.
Weakness(es): Fatigue is the normal one, certain things triggering emotional distress are another. Light exposure seems to stun her longer than what is considered normal, especially when she's transitioning between two areas. While more resilient than normal humans, she pales in comparison to most sparks.
Other Skills: Trained to subdue more than kill, Eve has slowly been adjusting that. Whatever caused her trauma has also caused her to become incredibly hard to sneak up on. Though never explicitly said or directly spoken about, Maxi and the others at Infinity, think Evelin has some sort of night vision or something that allows her to see in the dark.

Physical Description: Never wears baggy clothes or has long hair, says it'll just make her easier to grab. She'll wear anything though she prefers to wear things she can get out of easily, in case some grabs her and she'd need to shed some clothes easily. The signs of sleep deprivation are moderately present on her person. When wearing something that shows her back and arms, an unusual array of scars tend to be visible though when asked about them she tends to freeze up before disappearing.
Personality: While she was never a real shining example of white knight traits, when she was in LKA, those white knight traits began to disappear when she and the group she was assigned to began to investigate a series of kidnappings around the city of Pforzheim. While the changes weren't real obvious aside from the occasional and unwarranted broken hand or limb of some scum, she would've gone unnoticed by her group if she didn't pour out her soul to her sister. Apparently the more she and her group investigated the kidnapping and the deeper she went, the more unnerved and disturbed she was by what she saw. Eventually Eve and her group hit a big break at a warehouse the human traffickers used as a holding area for abductees and that ended up becoming the day where she officially disappeared. She was going to find out first hand what those abductees went through, and for a year and a half she lived through hell. When she was finally able to escape from her traffickers thanks to her spark manifesting and killing some in the process, something lit up within her mind. A notion that most of the criminals would never be charged, would never face punishment for their horrible horrible crimes against humanity, and that they would probably continue to mar humanity with impunity. That...that did not sit right with this new Eve, no she wanted to see vengeance. NAY! She demanded vengeance for the crimes and violation of rights done to her, and if she had her way...she was going to kill them all with the help of her spark. It was this unhinged desire for vengeance that caused her to pop up in Quantum City killing high profile people connected to human trafficking rings.
Bio: Originally a member of the LKA, Eve's world changed when she disappeared for two years becoming a victim of human trafficking. Needless to say, the manifestation of her spark helped her escape and allowed her to hunt down other traffickers which is why she's in Quantum City.
Miscellaneous:Putting her in manacles, or a sack over her head is generally a very bad idea. Sneaking up behind her is also a very, very bad idea. Maxi, her twin sister, tends to be additional help for her whenever she has her own missions. Oddly, Evelin prefers to drink pipping hot liquids. Ones usually hot enough to burn most people seem to not affect her.

Spark: Spark strengthened magic. Most of her spells are of the offensive variety, however, unlike normal mages most of them aren't all flashy. Really the only flashy spell she has in her gamut is a lightning spell her mentor taught her because of the uses it has in messing up technology. Aside from the offensive ones, she knows a few illusion spells and a couple mental ones that deal with either assaulting someone's mind or controlling a beast.
Weakness(es): Aside from an enduring stamina, she's not that strong in terms of strength, and while the arcane energies she uses has made her hardier, her mentor has noted that it tends to boost her confidence in a belief that she might eventually become invincible...thus he has become harsher in their little duels to pound in the knowledge that she's not and that she shouldn't be so presumptive.
Other Skills: She knows how to wield escrima sticks should the need for physical combat arise, though she'd rather outlast any opponent through magic since her training has made her surprisingly durable.

Physical Description: She has a build much like her aunt Felicia's, a sinewy muscly frame that hides an enduring strength. She's still having a bit of hard time with how vibrant her eyes are, though at least her corneas are currently normal. Danni also has a rather expressive face that she's vaguely acknowledges and kind of dislikes.
Personality: If there's one constant in her life that has affected her personality, it's all the work she's done since it turned younger Dannielle into a hard worker that doesn't complain much when doing a task. It's not to say this hasn't affected her in other areas, like giving her a healthy respect for death making her incredibly cautious when it comes to killing though her experiences has caused her to be inexperienced in the way of compartmentalizing things. Doesn't quite know what it's like being alone, since she's been occupied for most of her life though she's soon going to learn.
Bio: Leti has had a rather uneventful life, in her opinion, though to other kids it'd probably be eventful. Discovering that you have magical talent at the age of five, and then training non-stop for roughly a decade so she could become a competent mage. However, by her fifteenth birthday her mentor let up on the intensity of her training and she discovered how occupied her life had been, much to her chagrin. She was able to sufficiently occupy herself for the better part of three years, but she's recently become restless and at her aunt's behest decided to take a job helping her aunt Svelda out.
Miscellaneous:Growing up in a multinational home allowed her to become rather fluent with both dutch and french, as well as English when her family moved to Quantum and while not fluent in Greek, the time she's spent studying under her mentor has allowed her to understand it.

Weakness(es): While the Crimson armor does serve as protection for Kenta, it does unfortunately act as a power limiter as well. Due to the sheer amount of chi it takes to maintain its operation, the feat of summoning the power required leaves Ken physically and mentally drained, unable to repeat the act for a time, as long as even an entire day in certain instances.

Also, while the amount of damage the Crimson armor can take is high, once it has been pushed passed its limits it reverts back to its dormant state to recharge. Without his armor Ken is vulnerable to the pain that occurs when he attempts high level strikes. However, without it his chi is summoned more freely, allowing greater bursts of energy, but consequentially hastens the drain on his reserves.
Other Skills: In order to maximize the potential of his abilities, Kenta trained a numerous schools of martial arts. This skill manifests itself even when he is not tapping into his chi, which makes taking out low-level criminals a breeze. Ken has also shown some level of invulnerability both in and out of armor, able to brush off high impact blows without a second thought. Oddly enough, it seems that this trait isn't caused by his spark, but rather enhanced by it.

Physical Description: In the blink of an eye the once scrawny Kenta was transformed into a specimen pulled right out of kung-fu action movie. Outside his armor, he is too overly muscled as to impede his speed. Indeed Ken's build is more toned than bulky. One cannot help but to compare him to classic action star Bruce Lee, though he would prefer it if you kept that thought to yourself.

The son of two nations, Kenta has his father's golden blond hair but his mother's almond shaped eyes. One distinct feature is his heterochromia, with his left iris a piercing icy blue and his right a deep pool of red.

Personality: The fame that came with being a media sensation catapulted Kenta's once low confidence into new heights. Indeed when the camera's not rolling it seems hard for Ken to break his Crimson Rider 'character'. A self-described ladies man, he does not hesitate in flirting with the nearest female that catches his eye. Though he is usually successful, the star-struckness fades fast after a few minutes of one-on-one conversation, where his confidence fades and is quickly replaced by a stumbling nervous fool.

Those who are close to him know that this cocky attitude and vanity is Kenta merely making up for his years of meekness and shyness, though he himself may not realize it. Despite his arrogance, he does truly believe in justice and particularly cares for his child fans who look up to him as a hero. It is this side of his personality that keeps his few friends tolerating his more unsavory behavior.

Despite the intellectual potential he contained pre-Spark, any semblance of common sense seemed to disappear on that day. His child-like naivety and thickheadedness leaves him oblivious to even the most blatant traps and social cues.
Bio: Growing up in a military family, Kenta did not have many friends growing up due to his constant moving. At a young age his father died heroically saving his fellow soldiers during an intense firefight. Though his mother did raise him with love and care, without a father figure to teach him how to stand up for himself Kenta found himself the victim of constant bullying. The only solace he could find were the costumed heroes that he watched on tv every night. Unfortunately that hero worship soon turned into a means to escape reality as he let his obsession grow to the point where he was attending fan conventions in elaborate costumes, which didn't help his bullying problem.

That all changed when the Spark happened. Suddenly he was now the hero he fantasized about since childhood. He immediately took to fighting crime, gaining the admiration and services of his agent/show director/producer/editor S.S. Lazer, who made his life's goal to ensure the Crimson Rider's worldwide fame. By stroke of luck Ken's initial exploits caught the attention of television mogul who was looking for a way to capitalize on the sudden influx of super-humans. Before he knew it the Crimson Rider had his own television show, where cameras would follow him throughout his exploits, both in and out of action. While at first his battles were real, it wasn't long after that the executives began creating their own "villains" for the Crimson Rider to fight every week, to which Ken had no idea. From toys to clothing, for six seasons it was almost impossible to find a child who wasn't dressed head to toe in Crimson Rider memorabilia. There wasn't a single night where Kenta was being interviewed on late night talk shows.Though hesitant at first, Kenta was quick to embrace the celebrity lifestyle that had befallen him, as sponsors were at his door begging him to endorse their product. It wasn't long after until Kenta himself began to believe the hype that was forming around him.

However, after a disastrous attempt to break into the silver screen, Kenta found the Crimson Rider's popularity waning. Almost as fast as they came, his sponsors no longer found any marketability in him, and his show was canceled due to declining ratings, which hasn't been brought up to Ken until now.
Miscellaneous: One of the few pieces of memorabilia Ken still has from his time on the Crimson Rider show is his personal Honda Shadow 750, the Crimson Blur, which was given to him as a parting gift. (Though in actuality he rode it off the set and never returned it)

Along with his new found chi mastery, Kenta possesses state of the art combat armor courtesy of the Shotaro Broadcasting Company. Not only does it provide protection, but it also serves as a mean to focus and control his chi to the point of extreme concentration. Unbeknownst to Kenta, his power armor is in fact a pirated version of Nathaniel Graves very own Arsenal Powered Armor. Due to the SBC executives being unfamiliar with the potential the technology holds, they simply hired a third party robotics corporation to construct a suit specifically for Kenta, with enhancements they saw fit. Once again when the show went on in indefinite hiatus, the executives had no choice but to leave the armor in Kenta's possession, seeing as how it works only for him.

There is power in being a free woman on the wind, and Vixen lets loose with no holds barred, adopting a slight husk, almost a purr in her voice that all who cross her path know to fear.
Bio: Growing up in the boonies of the city, Selena always wished for something more. Her chance was a stint in college out of area, sending her blurring through a job first at a newspaper, than front and center in the limelight when she nailed an exclusive on one of the first spark villains. Before that though, she had always known she would get into a job focusing on news and media, her thirst for the truth had led her to as much.

When the wave hit, she’d been down on her luck at the paper, too brassy to be trusted with any real news. Then her hearing had come into itself, and with it she began to listen to things she’d only dreamed of getting a scoop on! Suddenly things were handed to her on a silver platter, though it was apparent that she had to handle it with the right steps. She hit the jackpot days later; ‘lucky’ enough to be in the right place at the right time to catch a bust on camera and without a paper in hand, report exactly what she saw. It landed her the job at Channel 12, causing her career to rise quickly, becoming one of the top watched news anchors of her time.

As her powers began to develop, so did the itch for more. Soon she formulated a bodysuit from a strong but durable cloth and slipped out into the night, nothing but a mask and small belt of pouches in her possession. She wasn’t the type for a fist fight, so she learned to sneak and move silently, a garroting wire and other subduing types in her utility belt. She was a predator of predators, a woman on the hunt. Other Skills: Having studied extensively with a small group of friends, Alec is a well practiced hand at Capoeira, which is considered a fast paced martial art comprised of leg sweeps and spins.

Physical Description: Dark red hair, cropped and tousled into a messy bedhead look that becomes his roguish smile. His eyes are a pale blue, so light, it looks as though they were made of glacial ice chips. Alec is not to androgynistic that he is mistaken for a woman, but there is a definite lack of huskiness to his build. It is an advantage for his Capoeira practice, giving him toned legs and well developed abs, without creating too much muscle that would interfere with sharp movements.
Personality: Alec is ever a mystery, even to his friends, people who have only known him in recent years. Some days he is a carefree punk that gives as good as he gets and never steps down from a challenge. But recently, he has started failing from his good humour, becoming less free with his thoughts to those he trusted. What used to be an open and charming young man, has now started to fade into a paradox..
Bio: Alec is very quiet about his past, not even the tightest in his circle of friends know much of him before meeting. He is easy to tell of his likes and dislikes, but when it comes to the question of his growing up, he goes silent, giving off a feeling of sadness that makes those around him switch topics, thinking the cause to be a bad childhood or something of the nature.

Spark: Technopathy: The ability to slide from his corporeal body and convert brainwave patterns into electrical patterns, giving him the power to slip inside a computer and ‘dive’ into the mainframes etc to do an assortment of things. Programming, hacking, even menial tasks such as writing documents.
Weakness(es): His body is still just that of a normal human, worse still, when he is diving, Fayth has no ability to protect his body that is hooked up to the terminal he chooses. It takes a large amount of concentration for him to dive, and after long bouts of use, he needs to take a full nights’ rest to ‘recharge’ his batteries.
Other Skills: After a few years of living on the streets, Fayth has become rather agile, learned from quick run ins with thugs and police. Though he is no athlete, he is able to make a fast getaway with his quick feet and a little self taught parkour.
Physical Description: Despite his slender frame, Fayth is quite well built. His muscles are not developed in the aspect many are used to, instead having become ropelike and tough as whipcord. His abs are not defined, but when revealed they are flat and distinctly toned.

His eyes are an odd shade, so light brown that they have become known as amber, almost gold. Framing a rather oval shaped face are strands of red, held up almost constantly by a hair band of some sort. On his left temple is a small braid, the redhead is never seen publicly without it.

Personality: Though unusually quiet, the young man always has something important on his mind, waiting for certain times to relinquish these small morsels of thought. When provided a task, he gets right into it, often taking it as a challenge to himself to relinquish outstanding results in the end. Although he is a wallflower, once you get to know him and he comes to trust you, he can be the most loyal of friends or coworkers of all, becoming a good listener in times of need.

Bio:

At birth, he came rather as a surprise to his parents, for originally, they had expected a girl. His name was thus shifted to a slightly more masculine spelling, which really didn’t help him much once he hit school age. Still, he was introverted by nature, and quite complacent to be on his own. His mother raised him after the deadbeat of a dad left town, but it was quite alright with them. At age sixteen, a hold up in a nearby drugstore cost him the life of his mother when the hyped up robber let loose with his itchy trigger finger.

He spent a few months in foster care before settling in a half house, learning skills of the job force at an early age just so that he could emancipate himself into independence. Once he could support himself, he finished his G.E.D. and enrolled in college, using scholarships here and there to help when his own work could not. He gained them easily, he was nothing if not intelligent.

Everything was going just fine until the wave hit, catching the redhead while he was sitting on a bus headed home for the day. A week later, his digital watch stopped. It happened to the next one as well. Within the same month numerous pieces of his electrical equipment went awry, but nothing so bad as the incident with his VCR. A tape jammed in the slot, leaving some of its’ line in the door. Sticking his hand in to retrieve it, he felt a glimpse of something unexplainable when he inadvertently dived for the first time. With a jolt he jerked himself back, but it was too late. His violent push out had sent a force through the machine and right up into the wall socket, giving a power surge to the entire apartment house.

It didn’t take rocket science for him to realize he too was one of these ‘Sparks’ that were becoming known more and more across the world. Within days a pair of men came to investigate the cause of the surge, though by the looks of it, they were no state electricians. As quickly as possible, the redhead packed up and discreetly left his hometown and changed to using his mother’s maiden name, not wanting to be poked and prodded as he suspected them to be after. Quantum sounded like the perfect place to become anonymous, especially with how populated it was with Sparks. What was one more?

Miscellaneous: While not exactly a lightweight, Fayth does not imbibe very often because hard alcohol hits him pretty hard.

Fayth has a fondness for cats, under an assumed name, he volunteers at the animal shelter helping take care of them and finding places for them to live as he cannot have one in his own run down apartment.

If someone tries to physically touch Fayth while he is connected, all of their hair will stand on end, like the licked a finger and stuck it in a light socket.

Amplification - Any emotions felt by those in the affected area are amplified tenfold(fear turns to absolute terror, sadness to depression, happiness to feelings of ecstasy and so on )
Manifestation – Jansen can drag out the fears of people in the surrounding area and make them physical. For example, if a bystander is afraid of snakes? Jansen can target and draw out a massive cobra to fight on his behalf. Jansen can also 'store' some of the more useful fears he has encountered to use in situations where they would otherwise be unavailable, however by doing so Jansen in effect takes on the fears as his own.
Observation – Everyone has emotions, and Jansen can see them clear as day. He can easily tell what you desire, what you feel and how your personality functions.
Weakness(es): The use of Jansen’s powers for combat largely depend on the mindset and mood of the surrounding crowd, if the feeling they are feeling is advantageous to them, then the advantageous feeling is also amplified. This is one of the reasons ~he tries so hard to unnerve his opponents.
Unpopulated areas are also a problem for him.
Sometimes, rarely, he can be overwhelmed by the sheer strength of an emotion.

Physical Description: Jansen doesn’t stand out, well not in a noticeable way. His sleek black hair messily swept back from his cool and collected face. His piercing red eyes developed when he received his spark, and he quite enjoys them as they match his sharp features. After all, who else has red eyes? He isn’t a muscular person, and doesn’t consider himself to be tall. And dresses to suit his build, a loose black shirt and fitted dark jeans are his usual casual attire, during business hours though Jansen will suit up like no one else has ever suited up before. He is in shape though, he has to be with all the running around and chaos… He also has a tendency to be stone faced out of his persona, Vereor.
When he takes on the ‘mask’ of his alter ego though, things change… His face always seems to have a cruel smile plastered to it, not a massive one but you can tell he’s enjoying himself…. His skin physically changes, with strips of black outlined by brightly glowing aqua-green lacing around his body. The strips are in fact enhanced neural sensors that allow him to use his spark and also, luckily, function as some sort of disguise against the general public. When he’s in the persona of Vereor he dresses in nothing more than leather trousers with knee high combat boots.
Personality: Jansen is one of those smart, upper class people, someone who knows how to act in the presence of respected company. He enjoys the simple things in life like fresh good quality coffee, clear night skies, a good book, and the sound of people begging to be put out of their misery.
Though on the outside he looks calm, collected and could easilly pass for a functioning and successful member of society, Jansen is anything but… Under that peaceful crust there is a well of raging desires, emotions and psychotic thoughts… Most of which involve other peoples misery. He thrives on watching people suffer, watching the strong break down into tears and the weak crumble past saving.
Jansen is twisted, and you can bet that when you’re talking to him, he isn’t thinking about the conversation a much as he is thinking about how to dismember you using your own teeth…
Bio: Once a well respected therapist and psychoanalyst, his clientele mostly consisting of the wealthier members of society, Jansen lived a more than comfortable life. After all, the rich have their problems too, and they are usually willing to pay handsomely for them to be solved…
However, Jansen was far from happy. Through his work he realised how corrupt the world was, how disgusting people can be, how greedy and single minded the human consciousness can become. Through his work Jansen developed a deep seeded hate for humanity, he loathed the fat businessmen dripping in their gold and came to the conclusion that this society needed culling, it needed to burn, it needed to be destroyed to be reborn.
When Jansen found out he had a spark, his life changed. He could see more in people than he could before, all their insecurities, all their disgusting desires and all of their weaknesses… He could see the world for what he really thought it was, corrupt, rotten and vile… And he had gained the power to do something about it…
Recently using his powers to work his way up in the ranks by manipulation, Jansen became the leader of Pariah. Although the gang was nothing but a ruckus of trouble makers and drug dealers, the high collection of Sparks had potential, the potential to evolve, become organised into a power to be reckoned with, to become a vehicle that could bring about the end of society as it was known.

To help meet this cause, Jansen has also decided to ‘fight corruption with corruption’ and has shot to the top of the corporate world. Now in charge of one of the leading banks of Quantum City, Jansen is just as ruthless in business as he is in terrorism.
Miscellaneous: Jansen has a love for music, he sees it as undiluted emotions in the purest of forms.

Spark: A summoner of sorts, by literally eating a weapons blueprints, Warchest can recreate the weapon in full working order from thin air, there is no limit to the number of weapons he can create, he has even been seen using up to six at the same time as they floated around his body, suggesting that he may have some sort of psyonic link to his creations.
Weakness(es): There is a size limit to his creations. He cannot create anything with more than three times his mass.
Warchest MUST ingest the weapons blueprints in order to recreate them and does seem to have an urge to do so. This means he can only create what he can get his hands on. He has no invulnerability at all, and works mostly in a supply role, however if needed for frontline combat he will wear a suit similar to Radars.
Other Skills:A dab hand at using his creations, as he seems to innately know their workings after aquiering their blueprints

Physical Description: Stocky, short, hairy and muscular with light skin and jet black hair. You’d be mistaken for thinking Warchest was a more handsome and clean shaven cave man. His black hair is usually seen in a longer crew cut, spiked up with product. Almost always seen in military dress, Warchest dresses in much the same way as Radar, but with more of a lean towards the military.
Personality: Violent, a little unpredictable and pretty ruthless. Collateral damage doesn’t exist in his world, neither does friendly fire or compassion… Warchest lives for the fight and is constantly ready to do some damage. When he’s not itching to stab, shoot, or blow someone up Warchest is researching and learning, he’s quite inquisitive and thinks that learning should be a lifelong thing.
Bio:Growing up through a rather dull childhood, Little Richard never seemed to fit in. Constantly in fights and forever being picked on for his height or his loner attitude, life was not awesome. Education didn’t go well either, while he enjoyed studying Richard never enjoyed school and dropped out to get away from the abuse.

Finding himself with no official qualifications, he joined the armed forces as a grunt to pay his way to college, however something happened, for the first time in his life Richard felt like he had power, give a man a gun and he will have the urge to shoot it.

Not long after completing his training and getting stationed out on the front lines, Richard was dishonourably discharged and arrested by the MP for excessive use of force, and civilian casualties, and by excessive use of force I mean gunning down a street of locals because a kid threw a rock at him…

When the spark wave hit, Richard was on the verge of being released, but during a chaotic prison riot de to a few powers springing up, he managed to find himself ‘released’ early. Apparently the military needed the space. He discovered his spark soon after, when he found himself having an unexplainable urge to eat the blueprints of a handgun he was reading up on via the internet.

He was recruited to join Pariah by Radar, who was a long time contact for military supplies.

Miscellaneous: He’s afraid of Jansen, and it seems to be the only reason Warchest does what he’s told and hasn’t killed any Pariah members yet.

Spark: Electricity generation. Hertz can send the neurons in his hands into a massive overdrive, chemically generating thousands of volts just like an electric eel would. However Hertz can do this for long periods at a time with little debilitating effects other than quite a strong hunger and desire for extremely high energy foods.
Weakness(es): Water, bullets, a very high glucose diet is needed to keep Hertz going.
Other Skills: quite a punctual train driver and a good navigator, Hertz knows the tunnels of Pariah’s base like the back of his hand.

Physical Description: Very plan liking, Hertz isn’t someone you’d think works for an underground revolutionary movement. His mousey brown hair styled into a side shed, and his thin framed round glasses make him quite unthreatening. Mostly seen in a washed out denim shirt with rolled up sleeves or similar attire, it makes Hertz look like he could be a just another factory worker.
Personality: ”Even Stormtroopers need to pay the bills”
Lazy wouldn’t be the right word, but it’s close. Content would be better. Hertz is a family man, and is quite passive about the goings on in the world around him. He does his job, gets his wages and lives a relatively normal life. Sure he doesn’t like the killing too much, but he does agree that the world is a bit ********, and could do with a redo.
Bio: After the spark wave struck, Hertz found it increasingly difficult to hold down a job. Like a high number of sparks, his power wasn’t fully under his control at the beginning. He was fired from his job as a mechanic, and getting reemployed just never seemed to happen. His wife had to work extra hours to keep food on the table, and his two kids didn’t have a hope in hell of gaining a good education. But then Jansen popped up, offering him a job that would use his skills, allow him to gain an understanding of it, and he was willing to pay a very good wage too! There was no second thoughts, Hertz signed up and soon found himself operating the modified tube-trains of the Pariah base and doing odd jobs here and there when he was needed to cover other workers.
Miscellaneous: He can touch his nose with his tongue, and can wiggle each of his toes separately

Spark: Super strength and instantaneous regeneration. Butcher is virtually indestructible, and has recovered, so far, from any injury she has received, even from such extremes as having her head cut in half. She re-grows instantly, and very quickly, leaving which ever body part was cut from her lying like waste baggage. When she’s cut in half, each side re-grows in full, and much like a cutting off a hydra’s head, it just makes her harder to defeat.
Weakness(es): Butcher ages normally and still feels pain, and let me tell you, getting cut in half is not pleasant, she is used to it a bit though. She also needs a massive calorie intake, regenerating uses up quite a bit of energy. If she does end up with a copy of herself, whichever side had the most brain matter takes ‘control’ while the other follows orders, much like a puppet. The copy also only lives for a set period of time before it has a heart attack and dies.
Other Skills: Ever seen someone beat down an opponent with their own leg, or strangle their foe with their large intestine? Yeah…

Physical Description: Variable, sometimes parts of Butcher grow back slightly different than they were originally, for instance her hair is a patchwork of different colours, and she has heterochromia.
Personality: Butcher is mean, not in the sense that Warchest is though, more in the sense that she quite likes to verbally abuse people and can be quite a sadomasochist. Her sense of humour is pitch black, so conversations with her can be a little unsettling. Out on missions she’s a loose cannon, usually taken to act as some sort of rear guard to delay the enemy while everyone else escapes. She’s perfect for this role because of how her personality ramps up in combat. Every time she receives an injury Butcher’s adrenaline levels increase exponentially making her something like a berserker she gets stronger, quicker, and more downright dangerous as time goes on, but also loses sight of her orders until she’s calmed down.
Bio:It’s almost like Butcher came from nowhere, her life before the spark wave was one from the streets, a ‘woman of the night’ much the same as Fiorella, however Butcher didn’t hate her work… Men payed a high price to be beaten, or indeed to beat someone. The money was good and the rest? Let’s just say she got just as much out of it as her customers.
After the sparkwave, She noticed that bruises didn’t appear, and any cuts would heal in seconds. After some experimentation, Butcher discovered her powers. She was more or less unkillable… However her hunger grew, she couldn’t feed herself with the work she had, and soon she fell into Pariah. Now she works for as much food as she wants, and the work is just as enjoyable, in fact it may be more.
Miscellaneous: Her fights usually start out with a pair of daggers in her hands, but due to how things roll out, she doesn’t usually get much use out of them after a while.

Spark: Nightmare: Margaret can invade her targets dreams and assassinate them while they sleep. Outwardly, her victims merely have massive heart attacks, but inside their dreams they can die any way she chooses. Another aspect is being able to make her targets feel lethargic and in the need of sleep. Her power is a medium range power, and can be used from outside a targets house from the street.
Weakness(es): While Margaret has a massive advantage inside dreams, her targets are not powerless, if they manage to collect themselves enough to figure out they are indeed in a dream, they can fight just as hard as she can.
Other Skills: Basic combat training from Radar, although she excelled in stealth, it’s as if she was born for it.

Physical Description: Tall and gangly with pale skin, amber eyes and lightly dyed lilac hair over her natural blond. Margaret looks if anything quite bored a lot of the time, a stoic beauty, she rarely conveys emotion, and she’s so locked up in herself that even Jansen has a hard time working out what she’s feeling. Her usual attire consists of large hoodii and pleated skirts with striped stockings. The hoodies she wears are very large on her, the sleeves coming down over her hands and the waist almost matching the length of her skirt. The deep hood makes for a good concealment when she’s ‘working’. The large pouch pocket is useful for carrying any tools.
Personality: Personality might be the wrong word to use. She’s not very emotional at and any emotion she does she is usually a bad thing, it’s a bit creepy. If she likes you she won’t show it, and if she doesn’t then you’d better watch your back at night. Very polite when she has to speak to people, something she learnt from Jansen, Margaret is quite similar to her adoptive father, maybe even less emotional than him.
Bio: Always a very quiet child, Margaret’s parents were some high flying business professionals in Quantum City. For years they didn’t know what to do with their introverted daughter, she didn’t socialise with the other kids and when she did the other kids didn’t want to be around her much afterwards. Taking her to see a psychiatrist for some help, they were recommended a Doctor Cygnar, and with their daughter getting help they felt like the problem was dealt with. They began to ‘lose interest’ with their broken child, not mentioning her in conversation became daily practice and hiding her away to spare themselves any embarrassment was the norm. Margaret went to see Doctor Cygnar regularly and over the years learned to trust the man that was hiding something away much like her.

The dawn of the Spark wave changed everyone really, some gained special skills, others got scared and lashed out at this unknown flooding the world, and unfortunately Margaret got to experience both. All her family developed Sparks, her parents changed physically, their appearance morphed into creatures that shouldn’t exist. Her father became quite lizard like as his skin grew scales and his hair fell out and so on, her mother growing wings like a bat with a face to match… It wasn’t long before they were targeted by the anti spark terrorist groups. Her parents were slaughtered before her eyes. Margaret was spared though, she couldn’t be a danger, she was just a kid after all.

The following months were odd to say the least. She kept going to see Doctor Cygnar who gave her appointments for free after the incident. Eventually she was taken in by him, the only adult she had any trust in. Now that her powers have developed further she not only lives with Jansen, she uses her spark to avenge her parents, hoping to bring about a world where Sparks reign supreme.
Miscellaneous:She carries around an extendable stun batton for ‘personal protection’.

Name: Alexandr Vorbiev

Spark: The ability to sense and pinpoint the location of sparks and their power level. His power allows him to efficiently track powerful sparks, as well as warn Pariah members around him in advance of incoming assaults.
After an attack during a mission, which robbed Alexandr of his traditional vision, his spark developed its self to compensate. Although only humans developed sparks, and even then not all of them, the spark wave hit every living thing on the planet. Alexandr’s ability to sense sparks has increased astronomically allowing him to see this minute trace of sparks inside all life, to the point of micro organisms. This has technically given him back his vision and has even increased the range at which he can see.

Weakness(es): He’s physically still human. His spark has no really debilitating effects on his body, but while it has enhanced his sight in one form it has handicapped him in another. His world is a world made of light, everything glows and shutting his eyes makes no difference. This can be a hindrance, and it also gets in the way of his sleep.
Other Skills: Good with a firearm

Physical Description: Muscular and solid would describe him well. His regular work outs and active life style keep him in perfect shape. He keeps his blond hair relatively short in a conservative cut swept back against his scalp. His clothes suggested someone of a military background, pullover jumper, combat trousers and heavy boots, old military style jacket, black muscle shirts. While he considers himself handsome, his face is now heavily scarred around the eyes. Some see it as a waste, others see it as distinctive, he thinks they’re cool.

When he is called out on a combat mission, Alexandr is well known for equipping personalised, heavy ballistic armour, both for the purpose of protection, and for the purpose of psychological warfare against his enemies. He acquired the armour from one of his military contacts, and despite its looks it’s apparently top of the line…
Personality: Alexandr is a nice guy really. Not the quiet type, he’s easy to talk to if you can get a word in past his tendency to ramble on about the situation. It’s this rambling that can be his downfall too, he tends to blurt things out without thinking first. However, he is rarely wrong and if something I meant to be a secret then you’ll have a hard time getting it out of him as he is extremely loyal to his comrades and friends. His observation skills seem to be top notch, only enhanced by his spark, if anything it looks like his spark stemmed from this skill.

Outside of his personal life though, he works following Jansen’s orders, and he will follow them to the letter. On missions he functions as a commanding officer and strictly orders his troops as he fights brutally along side then. He is totally committed to Jansen’s cause, and although he doesn’t always agree with his methods, he knows Jansen can get things done, and he knows that in the long run things will work out right for everyone that deserves it.
Bio: He was originally a Czech soldier. Enrolled early as he could, Alexandr found himself working to become a sniper, however as much as he was a crack shot, he was an even better spotter. Pairing up with another and looking out targets, working out wind speeds for shot angles, watching for any compromise in their position, he was perfect. Until the spark wave hit… He was due to go onto his ‘first’ mission, his first real tour of duty outside of Czech Republic. It left him blinded and useless to all duties he would have performed. The doctors couldn’t work it out either, the blamed it on cowardice, they had heard of sparks, but sparks made people stronger in somehow, it was clearly a lie. He was treated as a failure and left to restart his training after his ‘sight came back’… Alexandr was having none of it though, he fled, went AWOL and disappeared. Eventually he found himself working as a 'gun for higher' and even found himself employed in the US under some shady organisation, probably mafia, they never really said. Through this he found Jansen and learned of his cause, and decided to help him reach his goal.
Miscellaneous:Like Jansen, Alexandr has a thing for music. He’s also very good at holding his drink, much to the disdain of anyone he drinks with…

Name: Fiona Magnússon
Alias:Flash Point
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Height/Weight: 5’11” 10 stone

Alignment: Badass
Allied With: Depth Charge/Pariah
Spark: Control over air and heat energy, moderate heat resistance.
Flash Point fights with fire, but not as a traditional pyro would. Her speciality is actually closer to the control of air. Flashpoint can super hear air until it ignites, reaching its flashpoint. This works in a startlingly explosive fashion. Flash Point can cause it to expand at radical speeds into massive fireballs and jets of flames, the added pressure change being large enough to cause great damage.
She can also decrease the temperature causing the air to rush to a single point, this has multiple uses, but it is most effective when used in closed off areas.User Image
Weakness(es): As she is essentially setting fire to the very air around her, Flash Point is always in danger of suffocating herself by burning away the oxygen. To combat this, she wears a re-breather, but it’s not fool proof.

Other Skills: Having a great deal of knowledge about her spark, Flash Point has developed a sort of Jump-Pack like contraption that runs on compressed and ignited air. While not granting her proper flight, the pack can propel her great distances into the air, like a human air rocket. The pack can be refilled on the move by absorbing air from the environment.

Physical Description: Both Fiona and Jack are twins, and while they are not identical, they both look remarkably similar.
Fiona is lean, with a quick and agile body type. It’s clear she doesn’t deliberately keep a toned figure, but with all the physical activities she gets up to, she’s kept in shape. Her hair is a deep black colour, just like her brothers, in a short-ish bob style. She has soft features, almost melancholic, and a rather pale complexion from years of malnutrition, although she is getting better. Her eyes are a dark grey, almost black, and glow a rather dramatic shade of red when her spark is in use. Out of her ‘work clothes’ Fiona likes to stay quite fashionable. Quite the punk it seems, she has a liking for skinny jeans with chunky boots, baggy t-shirts and various belts hanging from her waist.

When she’s out as Flash Point, Fiona dons a black bodysuit highlighted with red markings. The suit is lightly armoured with various Kevlar nano-tubes and steel plates woven into the material, it’s not as elaborate as most of the other armour seen on sparks, but with it being home made from various stolen sources it’s rather impressive.

Personality: The first thing on the twins agenda is fun, and then survival, but mostly fun.
Extremely brash, tomboy like, and if anything a little lazy, Fiona is someone that won’t do anything unless it’s ‘going to be a riot’. She loves to joke around and cause a commotion, much to the distain of the citizens around her. Overall Fiona is nice enough and easy to get on with but with her being so loud and a little uncaring about other people’s feelings, arguments are a common occurrence. Although most of the time she couldn't care a jot about anyone else other than Jack, she will help out people when Jack pushes her to do so, after all she does have a good heart, somewhere.

Bio: Orphaned from a young age and more or less left to fend for themselves, the Magnússon twins grew to learn quick, and to move quicker, and trust no one but each other. Shoplifting became second nature and scamming like a simple game, they were masters of the street! But the streets were far from safe. Police were corrupt, gangs were just as bad, and although there could be money made from them, most of the time it was more trouble than it was worth. The gangs knew who they were, and regularly tried to employ them as runners, and yeah they would take some jobs. Drugs wouldn’t be touched with a bargepole but tech and information was no problem.

Life was liveable for the twins, and they could get by, just. Living in different places each week, and going without food for a day or two, but they were alive, and then BAM! The spark wave.
Everything changed, well maybe not everything but things definitely got better. Utilising their powers as much as they could, the twins became a force to be reckoned with in the thievery business. No longer was it shoplifting a loaf of bread and some cold cuts, no longer were they sneaking through the city with backpacks full of dodgy disk drives. They were hitting the big time, full on robbery. Banks were cleared, museums ransacked. If it was worth money, they could get it.

They still lived mostly on the move but it was a lot safer now, they could afford to rent out rooms using their takings.
Miscellaneous: Flash Point carries a pair of pistols that fire using her Spark instead of traditional gunpowder. And even though she is not the perfect marksman, she’s certainly not afraid of using them.

When he’s out as depth Charge, Jack dons a black bodysuit highlighted with blue markings. The suit is lightly armoured with various Kevlar nano-tubes and steel plates woven into the material, it’s not as elaborate as most of the other armour seen on sparks, but with it being home made from various stolen sources it’s rather impressive.

Personality: The first thing on the twins agenda is fun, and then survival, but mostly fun.
In short, Jack is a show off, he likes attention and damn it he’ll make sure he gets it! Being as cocky as he is helps when everyone around you is well off and living easy comfortable lives, and you’re out blowing apart bank vaults to survive, albeit immensely and spectacularly. He also enjoys music as loud and energetic as his personality. Although as a person Jack is not angry, he does have a habit of kicking off on one when threatened, but most of the time he’s extremely care free and more or less relaxed. Having a laugh, messing around and entertainment, this is Jack.

Bio: Orphaned from a young age and more or less left to fend for themselves, the Magnússon twins grew to learn quick, and to move quicker, and trust no one but each other. Shoplifting became second nature and scamming like a simple game, they were masters of the street! But the streets were far from safe. Police were corrupt, gangs were just as bad, and although there could be money made from them, most of the time it was more trouble than it was worth. The gangs knew who they were, and regularly tried to employ them as runners, and yeah they would take some jobs. Drugs wouldn’t be touched with a bargepole but tech and information was no problem.

Life was liveable for the twins, and they could get by, just. Living in different places each week, and going without food for a day or two, but they were alive, and then BAM! The spark wave.
Everything changed, well maybe not everything but things definitely got better. Utilising their powers as much as they could, the twins became a force to be reckoned with in the thievery business. No longer was it shoplifting a loaf of bread and some cold cuts, no longer were they sneaking through the city with backpacks full of dodgy disk drives. They were hitting the big time, full on robbery. Banks were cleared, museums ransacked. If it was worth money, they could get it.

They still lived mostly on the move but it was a lot safer now, they could afford to rent out rooms using their takings.

Miscellaneous: Depth Charge carries a pair of pistols that fire using his Spark instead of traditional gunpowder. And even though he is not the perfect marksman, he’s certainly not afraid of using them.

Spark: Michael is in some sense, a shape-shifter, able to partly shift, fully shift, or combine forms.
By coming into contact with a DNA sample from any animal, he can imprint their DNA into his own body and use it to take on the properties of said animal. Using this skill Michael can fly, armour his body, up his speed, reactions, resilience and strength, and breathe under water. If it’s possible in the animal kingdom, there’s a chance Michael can also do it. It’s surprising what samples the wind carries.
As most animals are physically more superior to humans in a number of ways, Michael has collected multiple copies of some traits that his body cannot fully keep in check any more. His latent strength, speed, reactions and senses are all above average due to the traits leaking constantly, especially his senses.
Weakness(es): Changes are not instantaneous, and although the forms Michael uses most often take less time and are often more refined, it can still take a few seconds depending on the change.
A side effect of his skill means Michael has way more than the usual 23 chromosomal pairs, meaning he’s sterile, and while his changes only activate when he wills them to, sometimes a very minor changes can happen out of pure chance or an emotional spike.
Other Skills: A true artist at fighting with whatever is available at the time, Michael could use almost anything as a weapon effectively.

Physical Description: A little rugged and rough on the edges, Michael looks like a man that has travelled the world and experienced everything. Dressing in quite a smart-casual way with shirts and worn jeans, He hates to feel stuffy and overdressed. His hair is kept short but it still looks untidy and the same can be said about his facial hair. As much as Michael shaves, give it a few hours and there’s a nice coating of stubble, now he only shaves every two to three days, there’s no point in fighting a war you won’t win.
His build is very solid and masculine, and although he isn’t the biggest of guys, Michael isn’t small either.
Personality: With his upbringing Michel became quite a harsh individual. He can be quick to anger and won’t refrain from putting people on the floor if they deserve it. A man of few words Michael doesn’t really speak unless he needs to, and even then you might not get much out of him.

The years of travelling have made him a loner, he rarely stays in one place for more than a year or so, almost like he’s running away from something or he’s afraid to get close to people.
Bio: Michael grew up the son of a priest, and from a young age listened to the teachings of God, but all they did was anger him… His father was a hypocrite, a violent man at home and very hateful in his words. Yet he was meant to be a man of God, someone that spread the teachings of love? Michael detested him, and as soon as he could Michael manage left home, he was 16.

Spending the rest of his adolescence travelling anywhere he felt like, working odd jobs and surviving through it all forged him into quite a harsh and untrusting man, never the one to throw the first punch but always the one to throw the last. However it didn’t mean he couldn’t be kind. Michael believed that people were generally nice, especially children who had yet to learn of the ugly in the world, and that those people deserved no hate. The other portion of the population though? The abusive scum, the bigoted racist trash of the world, they would get ever drop they deserved. So God help them if they raised their hand to a kind person or decided he was their target.

Already used to a world of violence and struggle before the spark wave hit, things didn’t get better after. Violence escalated from mere fist fights into brutal matches that could put videogames to shame! Michael’s spark allowed him to take on the traits of animals; it was both a blessing and a curse. To begin with he tried to use it to help out those who needed help but there was a stigma attached, he was a freak, unnatural, a dangerous mutant, the list goes on. His beliefs, his ideals that people were inherently deserving of kindness began to crumble. If people couldn’t be thankful for his help then they didn’t deserve it.

It’s been 22 years since Michael left home and began his travels, and he has never looked back. The last 2 have been spent in Quantum city, with Michael hoping to maybe settle down and find himself a decent life, however he has nothing to his name, no real money and his possessions all fit inside one rucksack, his ‘luck’ might have finally ran dry…
Miscellaneous:While not fluent in anything other than English, Michael could get through a conversation in quite a number of other languages. He also carries around a small book filled with names, who these names belong to is known only to him.

Spark: Clara can steal other people’s powers by simply touching them, skin to skin. The power returns to the original owner after a period of time, depending on how long they were in contact with Clara. If it was a mere brush, then they would get it back in 10 minutes. If it was shaking hands, they would get it back in 1 to 2 hours. If in contact for more than 5 minutes, it could take at least a day to get their power back. As for Clara, she would lose the ability to use this “stolen” power in the same amount of time it would take for the recipient to get it back.
Weakness(es): Each time she uses her power, it has massive side effects, both on her, as well as the person she steals the spark from. Sometimes it’s something as minor as dizziness, at other times, something as major as a coma. One side effect that Clara doesn’t know of herself is that every time she uses her spark, it is slowly seeping away from her life force. It is subtle enough that it’s not noticeable, but when she gets older, it would become apparent that, though she would have the body of, say, teenager, her energy would be that of a 30 year old, and as a 30-year old, her energy would be at the level of a 50-year old, etc. She has no control over when she uses her power. It is always at work.
Other Skills: Clara has perfected the art of being invisible. To avoid attention, she can make herself look so uninteresting that people’s eyes will pass over her as if she were part of the scenery.

Physical Description: Clara has long, dirt brown hair that reaches to her waist, and hazel eyes. She is not one to smile. She’s always glancing around her, wary of those around her. She flinches whenever someone comes near her, as if to avoid being touched. She doesn’t talk very much either, choosing to stay as unnoticed as possible. She is one of those girls who it is easy to not see her in a crowd where everyone but her is wearing the same thing.
Personality: Clara is timid. She is wary of everything around her, and careful not touch those around her with her bare skin. She has very little confidence, and very little self-esteem. She is not one to make friends easily, and those that try to befriend her give up fairly quickly when she fails to reciprocate. Only one person so far has managed to intrigue her enough to keep up a relationship, and that is Andros, though she only knows him as the masked boy Nightshroud. Though she is only 12, her eyes look as if they were that of an older person. However, her personality is still that of a 12-year-old: naïve and childish. She is an emotional person, and is quick to cry. Though it is rare, she does have a temper.
Bio: Clara was 6 when the Spark Wave occurred. She was so young that she didn’t know what it meant. When her next-door-neighbor, and friend, Marissa, who was a year older than her, showed signs of a spark, it delighted the both of them. It was a harmless spark, one that let the girl create colorful balls of light in the palm of her hand, but would disappear when they lost contact with Marissa’s hand. Clara was always fascinated by this, and wished she had a fun spark to play with as well.
It wasn’t too long before her own spark manifested, though not in the way she would have imagined it. It was a simple touch. One touch, and suddenly she had Marissa’s spark too. It delighted the both of them, until they realized that while Clara had her friend’s power, Marissa didn’t. And it wasn’t long before side effects started to appear. Clara would become tired more quickly, and sometimes even pass out once the stolen spark had returned to its owner. She quickly realized the cause. She also figured out that the longer she touched the person, the longer she had the spark, though the side effects could be drastic at times, minimal at other times.
She became more and more jealous of Marissa and her harmless spark, until one day, overcome by her jealousy, she refused to let go of the girl, certain that she would be able to keep the spark forever if she just held on long enough. However, this had massive consequences. Marissa passed out, and didn’t wake up for a whole week. For Clara, the spark lasted for two weeks, which at first delighted her. But upon finding out that Marissa was in a coma as a result horrified her. Later on, her parents told her, with their limited knowledge of sparks, that the effect of having one’s spark, something that becomes a part of the person, taken away, was like taking away a piece of the person, leave an empty space where it would normally reside. When Marissa finally did wake up, she was changed. She refused to even look at Clara, and the few times she did, there was a mixture of fear, disgust, and hatred in her eyes. They moved away very soon after that.
Clara was mortified that she had lost her friend because of her spark, and decided then that she would never use her spark again. However, it didn’t take her long to realize that this was next to impossible. She touched people all the time, and it usually left her feeling dizzy by even the slightest brush of someone else’s skin. In the years that followed, she learned a very minimal amount of control - what little a child could teach herself. Now she can avoid minor side effects of accidentally touching people with sparks. However, she has taken to wearing arm-length gloves all the time.

Spark: Voice hypnotism. Just by hearing her voice, she can “convince” people to do anything she wants them to. When she sings, her power is amplified, but she can’t control it. It has close to the same effect that the sirens’ signing from Greek mythology had. It causes people to temporarily go crazy, and become physically violent.
Weakness(es): Her voice can be resisted. If one has a strong mind, they can resist the urge her voice produces. She also gets fatigued when she uses her power, but a simple rest can fix that. She also doesn’t have complete control over her power. She needs to be always aware when she doesn’t want to use her spark; if she gets distracted and forgets to keep her voice in check, then her spark starts working without her noticing.
Other Skills: Fio can shoot a bullet dead center on a target. However, she has very little experience outside the shooting range. She is quite agile, and is very quick on her feet.

Physical Description: Fiorella is half Italian on her father’s side, and her skin carries that trademark olive skin. Her hair, in contrast, is a red auburn shade which she inherited from her mother, and reaches to her waist. Her eyes are a deep amber shade with specks of gold in them, her eyelashes thick and dark.
Personality: To the world, Fiorella is a stern, yet kind person. Is very knowledgeable and clever, knowing exactly how to react in certain situations. If you were to ask anyone in the company about her, she would be portrayed as the perfect role model to follow. However, underneath that, there is a much uglier side. She is easily angered, and only her training keeps her from showing it on her face. She is willing to go to every length to get what she wants, be it money, murder, or sex. Over the course of the years, she’s become paranoid that something might go wrong, which causes her to make some hasty decisions sometimes, though she can easily cover them up. She is obsessed with gaining more power and wealth, and will do anything to gain it. She also as a flirty side to her, and likes to play around with men who peak her interest, in a way as a payback for the years she spent as a stripper entertaining men. This side usually only comes out when she is Siren.

Bio: Fiorella, called Fio for short, grew up in one of the roughest neighborhoods of Sommerfield. She spent her life stealing food to live off of, getting involved with a female-only gang for four years of her life, working in bars, and finally as a stripper in one of the more popular strip clubs in Sommerfield, Le Danseur. It was located in one of the better parts of Sommerfield, and often richer people would come here to escape their lives. Fio’s exotic looks made her popular, and she grew more and more arrogant. She knew she was considered beautiful, and worked it to her advantage. She had a sultry voice, tinged with an Italian accent she developed from her Italian father. She knew she was better than the job she held, so she put her nose into books and started studying. She picked up things fairly quickly, and eventually managed to get into a good college. This is where she first met Nathaniel Graves. The young man interested her, as he was quite a handsome man. However they had little to no interaction. She graduated from the college with a high degree at the age of 21, which made her one of the youngest graduates of that college. She managed to get a job at a wealthy firm, and quickly rose in the ranks, due to her hard work. Eventually she became the assistant to the president of the firm, which gave her access to events held for the higher class. It was at one of these events that she met Nathaniel again. Her attraction to him had never diminished, and they had a few flings, though nothing really came of it.

It was around this time that the Spark Wave hit. Fio was 23. Her spark intrigued her, and she quickly realized the potential she now held. As an assistant, she could go no further up in the social ladder, unless she made some risky decisions, decisions she had been hesitant to make for fear of failure. But now, with this newfound power, it would be beyond easy. She started connecting with more and more of the richer people at the functions she attended with her boss, until she finally started dating the CEO of Titan Arms Inc., Jeffrey Claiden. She didn’t even need to use her spark, which made her happy. She also fell in love with him. After a year, they were married. She was 25, and he was 31. However, two years later, Jeffrey Claiden was killed in a car crash. Devastated, Fio did her best to keep the company running. She hadn’t involved herself too heavily in her husband’s business, as it reminded her sometimes of Sommerfield, something she had never told anyone about. She was made the CEO of the company, and although reluctant, she immersed herself in the business. She had inherited all of her late husband’s wealth and property, as well as the power he had held, but the loss of her husband had hurt her. She started to form a wall around herself, not letting anyone become close to her, for fear that she would be hurt again. However, she knew better than to show this wall. She quickly learned how to keep a façade at all times.

However, her past came back to haunt her in the form of the gang she had been in as a teenager. The gang was still strong, and its leader remembered her. She came to Fio intending to blackmail her. Either agree to her terms, or be exposed as a former gang member who grew up in the worst part of Sommerfield. She was forced to comply. This was the beginning of her dealings with the underground. To avoid exposure, she took on an alias, Siren, in effect creating a completely new identity. It was during this time that she realized that her spark could be used in another way, one she hadn’t thought of for years. When she first had gotten her spark, she had used it to gain more connections. Why not do that same here? She started experimenting more with her power, and discovered that with her spark, she could make anyone do anything she wanted, if their mind was weak enough. The first thing she did was overthrow the gang’s leader. In order to avoid blackmail again, she took over as their leader, as Siren. At first her conscience bothered her, telling her that she shouldn’t involve herself in this world again, but she had gotten a taste power in the underworld. It was different than power in Quantum. It excited her. She started having more and more dealings as Siren, and became more and more well-known. She finally came to a decision. She wanted power, more power than anyone else. The only way to do that was to take over both worlds, the underworld as Siren, and Quantum as Fiorella Delond-Claiden.

Her stage was set.

Miscellaneous: Titan Arms Inc. is a firearms company that specializes in the most up-to-date and modern technology implemented in the making of their firearms. It is the most successful firearms company in Quantum City, and its products are used by the enforcers of the law.
