Siobhan was in the maul. In a store that sold Skellyvisions. Siobhan was entranced. She stood in the center of an arc of TVs piled up one on top of the other. Each one had her face on it.

Siobhan was the star!

The banshee tilted her head one way. And then the other way. She made faces. Stuck out her tongue, and then danced to a song she could hear in the adjacent shop.

Honestly, Lou had just stopped by for a new phone charger. With two dribbling foxfires in one's room, if something was accidentally left on the ground (or one's hamster creature was out for revenge), then these items required replacement. At someone else's expense, but replacement nonetheless.

As he examined the generic and brand name chargers, his strange eyes captured the image of a strange young ghoul over by the skelevisions. Dancing then? A ghoul with no shame.

But... No shoes?!

The vampire turned on his heel and approached much like a cheetah would a gazelle. Slowly at first, then he picked up speed, and finally he slid in front of the ghoul and started a jig of his own. "Well hello there. Might I inquire as to the whereabouts of your shoes?" This might actually bother him a little.

Siobhan grinned as a strange boil with very pale skin joined her in her jig. This made the dancing even more fun! "My shoes? Ah, but I can not wear shoes outside of a fancy setting!" Siobhan giggled, twirling in place.

"I only own the pair I got for Prom. Shoes are kind of a nuisance~"
PostPosted: Tue Aug 28, 2012 6:37 pm

Lou froze at the word nuisance, his expression growing nervous. Every woman liked shoes! There were no exceptions to this rule! At least, none he had discovered up to this point!

"Nuisance? Oh, my little skunk blossom, you just haven't found the right pair!" There were very, very few things in this world that bothered Lou. This just happened to be one of those things. Even poor people had shoes. Well worn shoes but shoes nonetheless. Even people with clumsy animal feet could at least have sandals.

"Have you never been shoe shopping in your life?"

"Shoe shopping?" Siobhan asked, tilting her head after ceasing her jig. "Um.. well I had to shop for the prom shoes I haaaaad..." Siobhan titled her head even further, tapping her chin with a finger.

"Buuuut they were gotten by steaaaling. Desu helped me steal them, and then a Maul cop caught me and..." Siobhan blushed blue. "Well, I got away with it but still."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 28, 2012 7:34 pm

"Ah... You're very poor then, aren't you?" Not that Lou could speak much on it. The only income he had was through very similar underhanded means. And what was with the sudden change of her voice?

The boil simply lifted his hands and shrugged as if the crime wasn't a big deal. "I'm sure you'd be surprised at how many people steal things every day. You do what you have to do." What a great role model. A true hero everyone could look up to.

Reaching into his pockets, the boil pulled out a sack of silver pumpkin seeds. "You see this? All stolen. I make it little by little off chumps that pay no attention."

Siobhan hesitated, then nodded. Yes, she was indeed rather poor, she supposed. When it came to seeds, anyway.

The banshee lifted her head as he seemed to shrug off thievery as a means to get by. The banshee's mouth opened on awe, staring at the boil curiously. So she did not have to feel bad about being put up to stealing?

"I...I see..." She mumbled to herself, looking rather seriously at the sack of seeds. "Chumps... hmmmm... You have been most informative!" She nodded, wiggling her toes. "Ah.. but on the matter of shoes. They are only a decoration, not a need. I would feel badly stealing something I did not truly need."

Yes, Siobhan. Stick with Lou. He'll teach you how to feel no shame.

The boil seemed amused at her reaction, to say the least. She was like a fresh canvas, just waiting to be destroyed. "Ah, but!" The boil started, lifting up his index finger with a grin. "You need money, do you not? Therefore, you would steal the money and spend it however you like. You're still taking something you need, and you don't even have to take every seed on someone's person." Lou was sure if he tried hard enough, he could make anything sound good to his listener. One of his 'talents'.

"You just have to know how to work what you have."

Siobhan was a gullible and trusting person. She had no reason to think this boil would say anything that would lead her astray. So when he made his argument, she was convinced.

"I see... you are most knowledgable about this. I am curious. How do you go about taking small amount of seeds without anyone knowing?"
PostPosted: Thu Aug 30, 2012 6:14 am

Curiosity killed the cat, Sio.

"I'm glad you asked." No point in not telling her. It wasn't like he could take her money. Which she didn't have.

The boil reached into one of his suit pockets and pulled out....

A vampire kushi. One which had been sleeping peacefully up until that point. "He's small and unnoticeable, but can stuff a nice chunk of change into those cheeks of his. Most people if they discover him just think he's being cute." The boil stated proudly while the kushi grumped and huffed at the disturbance.

"It just takes training and patience."

Siobhan squeaked as she saw the small kushi, bouncing on her toes at the astounding adorableness. "Minipets can be trained?" To steal seeds? Hw very interesting. "Training and patience.... I see. So I must aquire a minipet!"

Siobhan nodded to herself, shuffling closer to the tall boil. "So once I obtain a minipet, and train him in the dark ways, I may get seeds.. and then shoes.. yes?"
PostPosted: Thu Aug 30, 2012 9:23 pm

"Minipets can indeed be trained. And well, if you know what you're doing." The squeak went unacknowledged as Lou answered her question. It was, after all, a usual response.

"But not just any minipet." Lou pointed out, gesturing to Stiletto as if he was some fabulous prize from a game show. "You need something small, cute, and able to carry a bounty. Really, you should probably just go for a kushi." Since he knew of no other pet that would meet all three of those prerequisites.

Stiletto turned in Lou's hand to the currently awed ghoul, subconsciously cleaning his face as if to charm her even more. They really seemed to like that.

"You know what?" The boil started after Sio tried to get the trend of the dirty business down. "I like the cut of your jib. You're the kind of ghoul who would believe about anything I say, and for that, I think I'll help you get a pair of shoes." Lou was very liberal with his money, after all. Since... You know... It wasn't his to begin with.

So.. she needed a Kushi. It was... so... cute!

If Siobhan had a wallet, it would so belong to the Kushi. And she would allow it to. Because CUTE.

Siobhan didn't seem to mind or catch on she was being belittled, staring at the Kushi and up at Lou as he spoke. "You will help me? Oh you are most kind! Is there anything I can do for you in return?" She asked with a hopeful look in her eyes.

Kind was not often a word associated with the vampire, but it didn't seem to bother him. Sure. Let her think he was kind. It wasn't hurting anybody. Yet.

Staring down at the ghoul, Lou rubbed his chin with his free hand as she asked for some way to repay him. Of course, anyone who had observed him for mere minutes might get an idea of where this was going. "Well, if you're really that interested..." The boil started, deviously looking his innocent new acquaintance over. "We could always go back to my place and have some good old fashioned fun." Sure. Her eyes were a little weird, but Lou couldn't really say anything about that. Moreover, she wasn't bad looking at all. How she kept her hair untangled was beyond him, though. Must be one of those women things.

Oh so interested. Shoe shopping sounded rather fun, after all.

"Old fashioned fun..." Siobhan parroted, tilting her head to the side. "Like... a game of jacks?" It seemed such a silly trade. A small game of jacks over a brand new pair of shoes. Chances were she wouldn't wear those either. The ghoul wore barely much of anything and was set in those ways.

"When I wish to have fun, I read magazines and listen to music!" She added helpfully. "What is your idea of fun, Mr.....?"
