D Rank - Genjutsu: Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique )
This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great.

C Rank - Genjutsu: Jigyaku no Jutsu (Time Reversal Technique)
This technique puts the target in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not. The target will comply with interrogation, but seems to retain his or her personality while under hypnosis. For example, when the ANBU used this technique to bring back Naruto's memories about his conversations with Gennō, Naruto was more specific about the ramen he shared with the old man rather than their conversations, which the ANBU were asking about.

C Rank - Genjutsu: Illusion Bell Needles
The bell's ringing produces a particular sound wave, which travels from the inner ear directly to affect the brain. This causes her target to hallucinate, seeing multiple images of her, and making very hard to tell the real one from the illusions. Additionally, the target loses their motor skills with continued exposure to the ringing. This technique is normally used after she distracts the enemy with Shadow Senbon.

C Rank - Genjutsu: Sly Mind Affect Technique
This technique allows the user to change the enemies sense of direction as they see fit. When this technique was evoked, the enemy was forced to walk around continuously in circles by making it seem as if they're walking straight to their desired destination.

B Rank - Genjutsu: Magen: Jubaku Satsu (Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death )
This is one of the genjutsu passed down since ancient times in Konohagakure. The user first disappears from plain sight in a mist-like fashion in order to approach the target without being detected. Once close enough, the target will then be completely robbed of their mobility as they see the mirage of a fast-growing tree coiling itself around them. Given that the subject remains conscious, this technique proves extremely efficient for information-gathering. Once the target is immobile, the user can then attack the enemy, usually after emerging from the trunk of the tree.

A Rank - Genjutsu: Nehan Shōja no Jutsu (Temple of Nirvana Technique)
A powerful genjutsu that generates a fluttering rain of sleep-inducing, illusory white feathers. Whomever sees them as they fall, piling up and covering the whole target area will experience Eden-like bliss and fall into a state of tranquil slumber. No matter how much one resists the hypnotic spell, the desire to sleep is instinctive, and there's no fighting it. However, an experienced shinobi will be able to dispel the genjutsu before it takes effect.

This being one of the most powerful Genjutsu that has ever been created, and only used once, can make knowing about it very hard. This jutsu requires no hand-signs, but can only be activated by the lifting of an arm. If the opponent notices that happening, the genjutsu actives. Inside teh genjutsu, the victim goes through hell. He/she loses all of their sense, and can do almost nothing to the user. They can not talk to him, hear him or even feel his presence by chakra or normal touch. While in the Genjutsu, it is like the real world, and all you can feel is pain. None of it is real, but the genjutsu is so strong it feels like it is real. On some occasions the victim, in reality, does bleed a little bit. Getting out of the genjutsu is difficult because it happens for only two reasons. Death of the victim, or hurting the user. You could kill the user, but hurting works just as well.
