Rolling to see who will go first 1 Iseult, Earth 2 Nakhti, Uranus Feel free to rp as usual randomizing betweeen 1 and 3 for each post, or to pre roll the results and go back and fill the posts in after the fact.Rolling reference for ease* For every post in a battle thread make sure you randomize between 1 and 3. The number you get will determine what happened during that turn. 1 - Uh oh, looks like you missed this time! 2 - Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post. 3 - Excellent hit! Your opponent should subtract 2 hp in their next post. * Keep track of your HP on the top of each post you make please! When someone reaches zero the battle is over. (You can post once or twice more if you'd really like the two to wish each other well or what not) If the dice decide to be jerks and the battle just keeps going on and on and on I may step in and ask for you guys to roll dice for some outside event to help out. Hopefully it won't be necessary

Nakhti Hp: 5 The teen bounced lightly on his feet, a little uncomfortable in the outfit that they were required to wear. It was for safety reasons, which was the only reason he wasn't complaining, and he grinned at his opponent, his grey eyes shimmering with excitement. He liked fencing, he really did, it was elegant, and swift, the perfect sort of sport, outside of running, for someone of Uranus. He lunged foward, and his blade touched one of the areas allowed to be attacked. Score! Songstress Kitsune Yay a hit! Your opponent should subtract 1 hp in their next post.

Iseult gave her opponent a polite bow before they began. She squeaked in surprise when he scored the first point. She had training in fencing and swordplay, but not near as much as she would have liked. Still, it was a chivalrous, knightly sort of thing, right?
She lunged herself, scoring a point of her own, and her face lit up. "Goodness, this is fun, isn't it?" Bantering with her opponent? But of course.

Nakhti Hp: 4 Ooh. She was good. He stepped back after taking her hit, nodding in agreement. "The funnest." He was having a blast, with all the different sports, and all the different people. Oh, good, he was willing to chat! She was worried she'd get someone grim and depressing. She was surprised to see how good he was, but, well, difference of training.
"I haven't done much..." She said, as she lunged...and failed. "As, uh, you can see. What about you? Have much practice?"

Nakhti Hp: 4 Well, that made her even better, if this wasn't something that she didn't do regularly. "A bit." he responded, moving out of the way of her blade. "It's a hobby of mine." And not one that he had ever expected to actually have a use for. "What do you consider yourself good at then?" He was, perhaps, using the banter to help distract the girl; it wasn't illegal persay, and when he lunged again, his blade struck true. "And I believe that makes the round mine." Oh yes, he was definitely far more experienced than she. Iseult found herself very much on the defensive. "I don't know that I'm good at all that much, honestly," she admitted, "other than...being very enthusiastic? But I suppose that'll change, I'll learn."
She frwoned a little at the last hit. "Ah, yes." Then, her smile returned. "An excellent round, and good luck continuing on!" She said, ever the gracious loser.

"I'm sure you will." Despite her inexperience, it had been a good match. "And I wish you well in the rest of your events." Surely she would find something that she was good at with all of the events to be participated in. "And I'll look forward to the next time I run into you."
She would be something to reckon with eventually he was sure, but for now, she was merely someone for him to keep an eye on, and, perhaps, cheer for.
